I came here to share the amazing-ness of Lauren. I spent 4 hours in her chair while she worked her magic to get me back to my blonde self. She took her time to really understand what I was looking to achieve, and let me tell you, she achieved it! Dang, I wish there was a 10 star option....but for real. I have been going to Jen since 2018 now. I found her on IG and just knew I had to get an appointment with her. Its obvious Jen has real talent and passion when it comes to hair coloring/styling, but you can also tell that shes worked incredibly hard to learn and retain so much knowledge over the years. Shes a true professional artist and just an all-around hair expert! On top of that, shes hilarious, has the BEST personality and makes me feel gorgeous during every single appointment - even if Im just coming in for a quick gloss!If youre looking for the best in the biz in Tampa Bay, look no further. I have been going to Jen and Lauren at Melt since moving to the St. Pete area. I have natural dark blonde hair and always brighten it up to a light blonde. This past hair appointment I went about 6-7 months and the growth at the roots looked as natural as could be. I would mention to friends that I needed to get my hair done and they were surprised at how long it had been since I did because it looked so good still!Very lucky to have found Melt. I went to Jen with extremely damaged, over colored and broken hair from my previous stylist. I had an idea of what I wanted and Jen was very clear that getting there would take time so that we didnt damage my hair even more. Shes turned me into a very MELTY blonde and I absolutely love it!! I cannot say enough good things about this salon! I came into the salon traumatized from a botched hair job from a different salon. Lauren and Jen welcomed me with open arms and assured me I was in good hands. Not only did Lauren take her time to analyze my hair and what our next steps should be to get to my goal, but she educated me every single step of the way. Making me feel comfortable and trusting of her process. I came into the salon and sat her chair with hair that was ratty, choppy, and extremely brassy, wayyy off tone. After talking with Lauren about a plan to get my hair to its optimal health and color, I left the salon today with glossy, shiny bouncy, gorgeous rich hair and a perfect plan for my future visits. I can’t thank lauren and Jen enough for making me feel at home in their salon, and I cannot wait to continue my hair journey at Melt !

I came to Jen with some crazy highlights happening in my hair- a lot of stylists dont know how to color a brunette without making us feel too blonde. Jen was able to give me beautiful dimension without making me feel like my color was too light or overdone. Since our first appointment together my hair is longer and more healthy than its ever been! I also love that she has cruelty free products available for retail- Mr. Smith, Cult + King, and Davines have changed my hair for the better. She is also absolutely hilarious and so much fun to be around. Coming to her salon is such a joy every single time- she is worth every penny! I will be a client for life!

Look no further for a stylist because you NEED to let Jen work her magic with your hair. I know she absolutely kills it with her blondes, but dont worry, she also loves her brunettes (like myself)! She is SO extremely talented at what she does. Believe me when I tell you, her eye for hair color is spot on. When I first met Jen three years ago, I was at least 4 different shades of black/brown due to unfortunate coloring from a previous stylist. I put my absolute full trust into Jen and her process and, let me tell you, it was the best decision I have ever made. She has transformed my hair into the all time healthiest its ever been! All the products she uses on you are top notch, to the point that over time I purchased and now use them. Meeting Jen has not only done wonders for my hair, but for myself also! Shes more than a hair stylist, shell become a friend you didnt even realize you needed in your life. She takes the time to understand exactly what you want, and then gives you realistic expectations of how you’re going to get there and how much it’s going to cost. The times I tell her “do you” she always colors, cuts, and styles my hair in a way that accentuates makes my my natural features. She truly is an artist and could totally be doing celebrity hair. On top of high-end hair service, Jen is a great listener and friend. She also does her research and uses products from companies that she aligns with their mission.
