    Emily is amazing! She got me in very quickly and made my hair come to life. She gave me such good tips and really made me feel comfortable. I have very thin hair so I’m always scared to get my hair cut, but she knows exactly what she’s doing! She also gave me some amazing styling tips on how to make my hair look more full, a true hair genius. I’ll be a regular here from here on out that’s for sure.

    The best experience ever. They have a lovely shop set up and the interior design is amazing. Once you walk in the vibes are impeccable!! Atmosphere is such a 00s vibe to it. Once i entered i was guaranteed a seat as a walk-in client. I was attended to with a foot into the door. The owner -Emily was very appropriate and caring about the customer wants and needs. Very bubbly personality she attends to you well. My hairdresser -Daimara is amazing!! She got the vibes i was looking for exactly! I gave her what i needed and she gave me exactly it. She also speaks spanish for any bilingual guest. This was my first experience at a salon since i always do my own functions on my own. The best experience and i will be returning. I knew i would love this place the second i walked in. 💕 I will be returning soon. 💗💗

    Marilin colored my hair. She did a wonderful job. She’s very patient and professional. also cares about the sides of your face for not to get color stains on. I would love to comeback. It was my first time at the salon, it’s very clean and pretty.

    Emily just cut my hair. I called her last night and she got me in this morning. She’s been doing my hair for almost 13 years. Four years ago, she took me from brown to natural gray and white. Love today’s cut. Makes me look fabulous!

    Ive been doing my highlights for almost 40 years now and most of my experiences were negative because they had a hard time getting me to the blonde that I prefer. Im new to Florida so I took a gamble with Salon Pearl. Emily was gracious enough to discuss her pricing prior which I appreciated. The price itself was steep. I am well pleased with the outcome😊

    Emily is a miracle worker if you want to gracefully transition to gray. She is an artisanal scientist who will take the time to listen to you, fully understand expectations, and then take it from there with her remarkably seasoned skills.     Emily did both my daughters and my hair and they both came out awesome! My daughter got ombre and I got balayage. We absolutely love our hair and we just adored Emily!! Such a gem! She is hilarious and so sweet and definitely knows what she is doing. I 100% recommend!!!

    Thank you once again for another lovely experience at Salon Pearl! Today was a special day and my daughter, who is 4 and got her first salon experience. My daughter was a bit nervous, but Merlen took exquisite care her giving her the most beautiful haircut with every hair perfectly in place. Im not sure who enjoyed it more, her or me as I watched Merlen gently work each strand of silky hair. My daughter can not wait to come back and get her hair shampooed and styled.Emily cut my hair today, as I sat beside my daughter. And Emily never disappoints. She has cut my hair both long and short and I am always so pleased with the results.Many years ago I met Emily through the bridal party I was in. She did all of our updos and I have been her client ever since. From updos, to color, and cuts she is so talented in her craft. I had only stylist in my life before meeting Emily, my moms stylist who she had used since she was young and I was that small 4 year old getting a hair cut. So switching was not something that came lightly. It was apparent from the moment I met Emily, that loves what she does and her clients that walk through her doors. She has created her happy place and it shows in every little detail 💇‍♀️ 🩷

    Emily was fantastic! I came in with a terrible at home hair dye, leaving my hair golden yellow and brassy. Emily worked magic and helped me feel beautiful again. Amazing atmosphere and was a great experience all around. I highly recommend for color corrections and for cuts as well. Finally found a salon I can call mine here in St. Pete!

    Ann was beyond amazing! First haircut in over 3 years. She did a tremendous job and I had such a wonderful experience. Ann is highly skilled and such a heartfelt person. I very much enjoyed our convo throughout, and she provided me with great guidance on my hair. Ann prepped and cut my ponytail for a kids’ hair donation org. I will absolutely be back to see Ann for future haircuts - promise it will be sooner than 3 years till my next one. Highly recommend Ann to friends and anyone needing a cut/styling - she’s wonderful!

    I don’t know that I’ve ever had a stylist do EXACTLY what I asked for, until today. Ann is especially good at figuring out what you want when you don’t know the proper terminology. My hair looks nearly identical to the pictures I presented her. I received everything I asked for and more. I’m genuinely impressed and will be back again in a couple months. Ann’s kind demeanor was icing on the cake and it was truly a pleasure to get to know her.

    This is the place for microblading. Savanna first did my eyebrows a year ago and I just had a one year touch up. My brows retained very well, I mostly came in to go from a natural to fuller look. She once again gave me EXACTLY what I wanted. I have looked far and wide and can easily say she is the absolute best. She is incredibly talented at what she does and very detail oriented. Savanna truly cares for her clients and takes pride in what she does!

    This is my second time coming here and second time going to TANIA. I live an hour away and I WILL NOT go to anyone else to touch my hair but her. She is not only the sweetest person but she is hardworking and PASSIONATE in her work and it shows.     You get what you pay for here, and more. Merlyn is an excellent stylist. Appt started with a consultaion, giving me ideas i never considered, (never got that ladys name) then went on to roots, hi lights, and the cut Ive been looking for! And blow dry/styling. Finally, waxing. A much needed day, by no means inexpensive, but glad i found Merlyn. Thank you both!

    Jenn is an amazing stylist. She is a perfectionist and makes sure her clients are happy. She does an awesome job with my hair, but I have also seen her gorgeous work on other clients with all hair types (long, short, curly, straight).     This was my first time here. Let me tell you, if you love the outside of the building the inside does not disappoint either. Its so cute, clean, relaxing and well designed. Pricing was reasonable.I went in for a cut and had Nicole. She looked at my hair and the picture of the style I wanted and just did it! And did it beautifully. The say no more fam meme...this is what it felt like. Not only was it a great cut she had the best tips! Tips and facts that no other hair dresser ever told me. Ive gone through so many products for my hair because I have psoriasis..she said just try a little backing sode to exfoliate the scalp...!!! So simple and no expensive product push. We had a good conversation about it and many other things. What a Wonderful Person!! Definitely will be going back. Thanks Nicole!

    Was in the area visiting for a few days and desperately needed a cut and wasn’t sure which salon to trust with my curly hair. I’m so glad I picked Salon Pearl because Emily did such a splendid job! We discussed exactly what she would be doing and she gave me so many detailed instructions on how I could care for my hair as well. Other stylists at the salon were also so friendly!     Savanna did my microblading here and its exactly what I wanted. Theyre neat and natural looking per my request and the service was phenomenal.     Emily is amazing! I absolutely LOVE the work she did on my hair! She took me in as a new client right away and after a short conversation with her, she transformed my hair into something even better than I had hoped for. I highly recommend Emily!     Go see Ronnie here (formerly of Regis). Great stylist & great with color, too!!! Also recently had a loose up-doo with Emily which was just what I asked for & lasted all night!The salon building is round and the salon interior is set up nicely with well-spaced stations, each in their own sort of cove around the perimeter of the building. The space is very clean & visibly disinfected in between clients.The salon owner owns this 49th St N location which is very nice and beautifully decorated, inside and out! The landscaping and plants are well maintained, with attention to detail throughout. The owner pride shows though and this carries over to how well your hair will be cared for here!Convenient location just north of the 49th St circle. Easy peasy!

    I absolutely love this Salon. I am in college and have had a difficult time finding a salon that could do exactly what I wanted with my hair. Tyler did an excellent job with my hair and his personality is amazing. He was super friendly and welcoming. He cut my hair exactly the way I wanted and it was probably the best haircut I’ve ever received. I also took my boyfriend along with me to get a perm. Ann did his perm and she was also very friendly. His hair came out great and he’s obsessed with it! We were able to get day of appointments as well. We loved the experience here!

    If you want natural, long lasting, beautiful eyebrows I would highly recommend you getting your eyebrows micro bladed with Savannah Klein. She is Amazing she takes her time and truly listens to you what you want and what will look good on you and the best part it’s pain free. . .     So Ive been coming to Salon Pearl for over 5 years now. Im always satisfied every time I come in. I get my hair bleached, thinned, asymmetrical, you name it! Emily can handle it! I never get bored with the company either. Melissa and Emily are my favorite hair stylists ever.It was great! I was finally able to get my idea across about weekday I wanted with my hair. Ive been here 3 times now and kept the same haircut ask three times! Thats a major thing for me. Also, Emily have me good advice to get highlights instead of a full dye job, and it looked wonderful! Also, I made a good couple of buddies while I was there! Emily and Melissa are great!

    Emily is absolutely amazing!!! I took my daughter here for a much needed color correction, cut and style. Complete transformation!!!! Its amazing, she (my daughter) is in love with her hair again. After an unfortunate incident with scissors, dye and her little sister lets just say it has been a long quarantine. I havent even mentioned what Emily did to my head of hair. Emily has made a life long customer. Her establishment is clean and extremely professional and knowledgeable.     I just moved here, uncertain where to go since I was with my stylist for 6 years prior. First off setting the appointment was so easy! When I went in I had Ann working with me. She was so sweet, she also took her time to really understand what I wanted. The experience I had here was AMAZING!     Emily is a wonderful hair stylist who takes the time to actually explain the techniques and color treatments to her clients. She took 20-30 minutes to explain a specific hair technique to me and how it would look on my natural hair, while correcting anything I wasnt happy with.     I was looking for a salon in the area and was nervous at first to try a new place. After meeting Emily and sitting down, right away she gave me her professional opinion on what we should do as far as color and cut.     This is such a cute place! It was my first visit. I found them online and called and they got me in the same day.     I had an amazing experience at Salon Pearl. The atmosphere is stunning, the salon is clean and everyone there is friendly. Emily did a great job with my perm and made it such an enjoyable experience!! We talked through the process and I got exactly what I wanted.I will mention though, it was much more expensive than I expected. I paid over $335 (plus tip) to get the perm and the ends of my hair trimmed. As a college student, I am sad to say I wont return because I just cant afford it.

    Melissa. Is. AWESOME. A few months ago my sister came down to Florida and got a bad cut so we stumbled upon Salon Pearl and Melissa did a beautiful job fixing my sisters hair. Ive never seen it look so healthy and stylish! Then I went home to NY and also got a botched cut (when I knew I should have waited until I was back in Florida and gone to Melissa). Once again she fixed my hair and gave me a super edgy undercut. I went in with a few awesome pictures and left looking better than the photos!     Emily is amazing. She does a great job on my hair and is pleasant. She is in demand so book early if you can. She also is very thoughtful, she ordered a special type of peroxide just for me because my scalp is sensitive to the peroxide in the blonde. Thats the first time a stylist has done something so nice for me. It made a huge difference while it was on my scalp. Side note: please try to keep your appointment with Emily or reschedule with lots of time for her to rebook your spot. She keeps her prices very fair, so I try to respect her time. Emily greeted me so nicely and got right to work with a shampoo and eyebrow wax that took no time at all with no wait time.     I got an ombré done at salon pearl and it looked great! All my friends were complimenting me about how good my hair looked! I got the keratin extensions done which last for six months. Before this, I had went to other salons to tape ins which only last for two to three months and fall out of your hair. The keratin ones are very nice!     I went to Salon Pearl for the first time today and it was a great experience. I had a living social coupon and so of course the price was fantastic.     Tania is amazing! I have used her a few times now for blonde highlights and she does an outstanding job every time. Im picky about who I go to because my hair is dark brown and I bleach it very blonde.     Great salon. I had my hair colored here and the results turned out fabulous. I have dark hair so going to a light brown is pretty tough. Emily was very diligent and made sure my sister and I were satisfied with the color results.     Tania gave me a great cut today, my first time there. She thoroughly discussed what I wanted and the look is perfect. I have tons of confidence in her already and I’m thrilled! I haven’t had this great of a cut since moving her in 2014!! She really understands hair!! She’s exactly the stylist I needed. I highly recommend Tania, she also has a great personality! Very genuine. Was a great experience.

    Ann is amazing!! I went to Salon Pearl the day I was leaving for a vacation to get my hair done. When I showed up I had very over-processed blonde with patchy blue/green dye stuck in my hair that I could not get out no matter what I tried. I didn’t want to give up on the blonde but my hair was breaking off very badly, so I booked a haircut just to help get some of the dead ends out before I left. When I showed up Ann helped me to fill the color and then dye back to my natural very dark hair and gave me a great haircut. I was honestly feeling super bad about my hair and wasn’t ready to move on from the blonde but it was time. She made sure to do everything she could to fix my hair so it wasn’t a mixture of so many colors anymore and suggested some products to help stop my hair from completely breaking off. I also have to add that other stylists have added hair color to attempt to match my root color before because I had a more ‘rooty’ blonde look and they could never actually match it. She took extra time even double checking with other stylists to make sure to make the perfect formula for my hair color. It’s now been a month and my hair grows very fast and I truly can’t tell where the root color is versus where she dyed. It’s about time to go get another trim and touch up some color that has faded from me going to the beach/pool/etc, but it still looks great! I was there a long time and honestly expected the bill to be higher but it was very affordable for all the attention and care she put into my hair. I love my hair so much and am super thankful she was able to fix it before my vacation for a little confidence boost! She is the best!

    I cant say enough about Jennifer! Jenn spent two hours on my hair - thats impressive. My hair is super thick and takes a lot of patience to do anything with Emily and Jennifer were so nice and professional - it was great to go somewhere with such a good atmosphere. Somehow Jennifer managed to cut my hair the way I wanted - I went from a really long style to a bob. It looks amazing! Highly recommend! I will be back.

    Emily did a fantastic job coloring and cutting my hair! I came in wanting a pixie cut and it looks great!!! My granddaughter wanted ombré coloring and I cannot believe how beautiful it turned out!!!! I saw a couple of customers that Melissa took care of while I was there and they turned out good, too. I would recommend Salon Pearl to anyone needing a great hair salon!

    Emily is the best stylists I have come across in St. Petersburg. She’s very patient and explains things very thoroughly. As a black women I sometimes don’t feel very welcome at the high end salons. This place is one of the best and I’ve never felt more welcome and listened to anywhere.     Emily is awesome! I went back to Emily after getting a gift card to a different salon, where the hair dresser refused to give me bayalage and told me my hair was too destroyed. Emily was not only able to do the bayalage but she did an amazing job and did not make me feel awful about my hair. She is the best hair stylist I have been to, her 22 years of experience definitely shows in her work. Highly recommend!

    This was my first time at Salon Pearl and I was hesitant because I have a pixie cut, which not all stylists are comfortable working with. (and to be honest, many have messed up) I was up for trying somewhere new though, so I made an appt with Tania. SHE IS AMAZING!!! she was super friendly and between showing her three different pictures and giving a complicated explanation of what I was trying to achieve all she said was yep, lets do it. She had full confidence that she could give me what I wanted and she did! Its been about 5 days since my visit, and I get continual compliments on my haircut.     Emily is amazing with color!! I have brought my Mom and Sister-in-law and they are both now loyal customers. I moved to Kissimmee and I drive the 2 hrs for her to do my hair, she is that excellent!! My hair is heavy highlight blonde and it look beautiful everytime.     I have been hooked on this salon since I walked into their old salon. I am one of those ladies, who doesnt get her haircut often, and when I am ready, I look for the closest salon to take care of me. Gray accepted me as a walkin right away, asked what I wanted done, she listened and got right to work! She was so professional and helpful, she let me know what would be a great cut ...she did not disappoint! Since moving to their new salon, Emily has also cut my hair, and she too, listened to what I needed done and ,she too, did an amazing job. I love that they fit me into their schedule whenever I am ready for a small change or a drastic one...they make me feel welcome everytime, even if it is a couple times a year for me!!     Fabulous Salon! Very professional and clean with a courteous staff. Emily knows her coloring and her clients. She always listens to what I want and executes it every time. Never had any issues and reasonably priced. I use Emily for cuts, coloring, and highlights. Although she is in St. Pete and I am in Tampa, I still make the drive and wont trust anyone else! Highly recommend!

    Absolutely amazing. I needed an immediate color correction and Google this place. I am one who is extremely picky when it comes to my hair and my stylist but I needed attention right away. I called and was able to make an appointment the next day. EMILY was wonderful she is very knowledgeable about the industry and fixed my lion hair.     This is an outstanding salon. Great colorists and stylists! I walked in blindly 9 months ago, in an emergency, and was so happy with the results! My stylists name is Melissa. Ive been coming monthly every since!I had a keratin treatment by Emily and love it! My hair is basically wash and wear now, holds color longer and the humidity doesnt effect it at all! The other best part is that it is shiny and healthier. I highly recommend this treatment.

    Run, dont walk to go get your eyebrows micro bladed. Savanna is the eyebrow queen!!!. I am in awe of my eyebrow transformation. She is very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional.     Best hair salon I have been to in a while! Tania is absolutely amazing and thorough in her work. My mother and I just recently visited Salon Pearl. My mother, for a color and trim, and for myself a color and cut as well. I had previously ruined my hair due to over processing and too much box dye at home, I visited a different salon before hand and was told there was nothing they could do to fix it. But when I walked into Salon Pearl Tania worked her magic and had me walking out feeling like a brand new woman! I would highly suggest her to everybody!

    I had a keratin straightener done by Gipsi. She saved me from the endless hours I put in to keep my hair tame. I had a hard time finding a place in St Pete that could or would bother with my African American curly hair. Thank goodness that Gipsi took me on as a client and made my hair manageable! She was very thorough and did an excellent job. She does all types of hair and not just African American hair, so I highly recommend her for a keratin treatment or flat iron or blowout because I know she will do an excellent job.

    I wanted a perm for my flat fine hair. I went to Aveda and the stylist was clueless. After some researching I found Emily. She was very nice and extremely knowledgable! She helped me figure out which style of perm was the best for me and it turned out great! I was looking for something modern and not crunchy spirals from the 90s. I get lots of compliments on my hair from the cut she did to the natural look of the curls. I am so happy that I found Emily!!

    Emily is an expert with perms. So few hairdressers can give good perms. I have slightly curly hair. I started going to Emily for a spiral perm to enhance my natural curl and tighten it up. When I leave there my hair looks like it is naturally that curly, and the curls last!

    I called Salon Pearl trying to get a haircut asap, and Emily squeezed me in 30 mins after I called. Given the fact how popular this place is, I didnt expect that at all. Being that this was my first time here because I just moved to town, I am naturally hesitant whenever a new person cuts my hair. I showed Emily one photo of how I wanted it to look. She glanced for .2 seconds and knew exactly what to do. She could have blind-folded me for 20 mins while she cut it... voila, perfect. In my case, first time was the charm.     So today I got a Brazilian Blow Out, with Emily, from Salon Pearl. She took me outside to do it because even the best of products have smells and can be dangerous if breathing. I found this to be so responsible of her. Her products have no formaldehyde but she takes no chances. I do the treatment even though my hair gets straighter and less volume, The benefits are easier to dry, no frizz and very shinny etc. I love doing it with Emely because she knows exactly how to do it right so no damage is caused to my hair. I recommend her for any treatments and cuts. I was originally using Melissa as my stylist but she moved to Japan and because I love the salon and product they use I now use Emily , highly recommend her!

    This was my first visit to Salon Pearl and Emily was my stylist.. She trimmed my hair and did a blow dry. It looked amazing. She took her time and listened to me and gave me some great advice.Also she and the whole staff was very friendly.     I had gotten my hair done elsewhere and it was not at all the color I wanted- I had asked for golden/honey toned balayage and the ends of my hair were grey. I called Salon Pearl late on Friday night expecting to get voicemail and leave a message, but the owner answered. She said she could squeeze me in the next day and assured me that I could trust them with fixing my hair. Gray was my stylist and she was beyond phenomenal. She was so sweet and understood exactly what had gone wrong and exactly how to fix it. She made sure to blow dry and let me check the color and said she would fix it if it still wasn’t what I wanted, but she did an amazing job of giving me the color I had intended to get! She even offered to even out my cut for free, which I didn’t even know was uneven! This will be my permanent salon from here on out!

    I went to see Tania to do my hair because Im getting ready to start a new job and I wanted a new hairstyle. And like most people, I just had no idea what I wanted. She suggested a blunt cut and some color and I cannot believe the transformation it made! I absolutely love it. she is amazing, if you have a chance, go see her. Or any of the wonderful folks who work there. They are all so nice and welcoming and have great safety practices.
