Ive been going here for 4 years.Ive had many wonderful experiences with phenomenal students. Their instructors, especially Doug; are my main why I go there.. he is truly the success of that school.Ive had many students graduate, and be successful in their hair careers.In particular, Ireland will graduate this Wednesday. She is so awesome at her job. She is very compassionate about her work, she has a great personality and listens to what you are looking for in color and style.I wish her all the luck in her amazing future as a stylist!

AIB Largo is absolutely wonderful. I have gone on 4 separate occasions for chemical peels and European facials. Ms. Sheilas night class students are all professional, kind and caring. I have had nothing but a great experience with Isabella, Jetta and Jules. Each and every time I have gone, staff and students (in all areas) made me feel welcomed. Each time I leave, I look and feel fabulous! Thank you Ms. Sheila for always spoiling me and giving the students a solid foundation to enter into a profession they clearly love.

I recently graduated AIB and while there Ive meet some beautiful amazing people from staff to students and learned many new things. I had the most wonderful nail teacher (Ms. Mel) and most passionate skin/esthetician teacher Mrs. A who actually would go above and beyond for her students to make sure they are getting the best learning experience in class for life outside of it. It wasn’t always easy trying to focus and finish with so much going on in life at times, but she has always been the most supportive, motivational and an admirable inspiration to me. I’m so happy to be finished but I will always miss being her student learning and growing. Huge thanks to Mrs. A helping me in so many ways. pushing and encouraging so many students to be successful. Keep shining diamond 💎😉 & making AIB feel like the place to be.

Aww man talking about an Experience, it was awesome! I’m sooo thankful that I decided, to go to AIB. Great Staff and even wonderful students!! I do have to put my Star in the Spotlight! Ms.Annette was great even though, we didn’t have much time together, the little time we did share was just like we was together forever. She show me things and I learned things in that little time, that I didn’t know while I was in skin class, she came in and got straight to the point. I love her teaching. Maybe you all should let her teach, the teachers. Her technique is out this world and more teaching like that, could make the students succeed faster with great information, that will Never be forgotten. I love AIB and Thank you, Thank You for changing my life, in ways I couldn’t even imagine. Thanks for teaching me the skills that will make my career very successful. Not only did I learn the skills, but I’m also great at them. Just because of AIB and Ms.A… I also enjoy doing what I do. Never give up, and Never make excuses. Because I did it Homeles! Ms. Annette, Ms. Serena, and Ms. Teresa are all EXCEPTIONAL educators! They truly care about seeing their students succeed! They definitely set us up to succeed and treated students equally. Ms. Carrie is also very helpful and caring!On the other hand, the school is questionable. The quality and amount of supplies was usually poor.Also Calvin needs a raise! We love him!

I’m in the full specialist program and Ms.A in the esthetics class has inspired me to embrace my love for esthetics more by not forcing me to do things that I’m uncomfortable with doing. I do not enjoy doing facials at all and instead she lets me focus more on other things i want to learn like waxing, brows, and lashes.Update: I made it! I graduate today and since writing this review I have done facials on a friend of mine once a week. I’ve learned about them more by being hands on with it. I decided to try to see if I’d actually enjoy doing it but even though I don’t enjoy it I’m glad I tried and learned from it. I discovered my love for lashes on the way though! Thank you Ms.A for being my teacher!

I just want to say thank you to one of the best teacher I’ve ever came across she takes her time too teach each of her students the best she can she goes above and beyond to make sure they get the the education they need to be successful once we graduate she also makes sure her students get the best learning experience they can she continues to motivate her students and continue to push us to our fullest potential I’ve made so many good bonds with my classmates I wouldn’t want it any other way! I just graduated as a Full Specialist and I couldn’t be any happier with my experience. Mrs. Annette was the MOST passionate, educated, and genuine teacher I’ve ever had. She truly wanted to see us succeed. She was very hands on, answered all our questions, and even gave us the best advice when we truly needed it. There was a great level of respect that we all had for each-other. Her experience in the beauty world is so helpful, especially because she is so knowledgeable in her field. She cared about us INSIDE the classroom and OUTSIDE the classroom. We have cried together, laughed together, and made the best memories in such a short amount of time. I always looked forward to going to class because I knew we would be making the most out of our time. I’m truly sad to leave but I know that I can always stay in touch with her. I’m also very sad to leave all the amazing friends I made while being in school. I made my forever friends. Thank you AIB for this experience and for giving me the education of a lifetime. I get a forever mentor, friends, and an license!

I just graduated from this school as a full specialist. I must say the experience was by far a challenge because of the sacrifices made just to maintain a great attendance and stay afloat maintaining the grades as well. Times were discouraging for me because it grew easy and it wasn’t a challenging thing for me anymore and life situations started to kick in. Ms. Annette, just WOW! A teacher that show’s dedication, nurturing, uplifting, involved , and so much more truly kept me from wanting to Quit because I was getting discouraged. She helped pushed me to finishing and to become a stronger professional when it came down to the skin program. If it wasn’t for her, I know for a fact I wouldn’t have finished the program. I am so grateful how involved she became and showing how much she cares. And that gave me confidence and motivated me to now be another graduate. Aib has 2 of the most wonderful teachers I have ever had in my life. One of them been my estethics teacher Ms Annette, I cannot thank her enough, for guiding us to success, for caring About each individual student like if we were her own children, she makes sure you understand everything in a special way for each one of us. We are all different therefore we all learn in different ways and she is very well aware of that, and makes accommodations for all of us to understand. Shes one of those very special people that makes you understand that we can do it all and that the sky is the limit.I am a sickle mother of three who recently went through a lot and I knew I needed to do something for my kids future. I never in a million years thought that my life was going to change so much by attending a school. Now I know I can conquer the world and provide the best for my kids, because I have the best Mentor I could ever have asked for.Thank you AIB for having such an amazing inspiration.

Hello im a Student at AIB!!! I Want to start of by saying I graduate today and want to thank all the students and staff with providing me with endless knowledge from my all time fave my second mama. Mama Kelly to my Master barber instructors Mr.d-Mr.c to our cosmetology instructor Doug to Mrs Leslie our skin teacher to Mrs. Mel and Mrs.Teresa our nail instructors you do an amazing job at what yall were born to do. Thank you to Ms Bobby for giving me the most welcoming in and believing I would be a great fit for the school and keeping my dream alive. The full specialist program is pretty amazing! The skin teacher Mrs. Leslie is amazing. She handles each student differently and she makes sure to check in with students each morning and throughout the day. She also gives real life scenarios and explains both sides of everything.

I have been a student at AIB for 8 months now enrolled in the full specialist program. I came in loving nails and lashes with very little interest in skin. Mansi did my shampoo, cut and style and she did a fabulous job! She trimmed just enough, layered, and did a blow-out for me and it looks fantastic. I will be back!Update: I returned to AIB and Mansi did an amazing job coloring my hair to remove all the gray. My hair looks so natural! I love it.

Finding a school that ensures that you get the education you need (and paid for) is rare. Miss.Annette stepped up and took on more responsibilities for me and my class when we needed her most. She is incredibly kind and always has a bright smile to welcome you in with. Mrs.Carrie is also so wonderful and really listens if you have an issue. I am truly enjoying my time in my program and cant wait to graduate!

Also Amarien does a absolutely great fade as well, highly recommend this place! I went to school here from Sept. 2020 to July 2021 and at first we had a lot of Cosmetology teachers coming in and out until we got Mr. Doug. He’s incredible. Not only is he good at his craft, but he’s also one of the most caring and compassionate people I’ve ever met. He helped me through drama with other students, and when I got fired from a job he was the first person I went to and he gave me amazing advice. I don’t think I would’ve made it through school without him. No matter what you go through mentally, physically, or educationally, he won’t give you a hard time. He’ll push you to be your best, but never make you feel bad. Truly one of my favorite people in the whole planet.

Overall my years attending any school I never felt like I fit in anywhere with anyone not many connections with any of my teachers, until I came to AIB I started out only wanting to be a nail technician nothing more until I was convinced to try and expand outside of my comfort and join the skin care program as well and I don’t regret it especially after meeting mrs. Annette she made me feel so warm and welcome in a field I knew nothing about and made wanting to come back to school every night worth it even when I was exhausted from caring for my daughter and working an 8 hour shift every morning she is by far the best teacher I have connected with personally and within school she has made my experience something I can NEVER find anywhere else xoxo

Just days ago, I graduated from the full-specialist program at AIB. I went into school loving nails but dreadingskin and left loving nails and skin. I was very surprised by that transformation. I started out dreading the skin part of the program, but with the help and support of an inspiring teacher, Ms. Annette, my world did a 180°. A week later and I am attending AIB for cosmetology, have a full-time job waiting for my graduation/license, and the future looks bright! Thanks AIB, thanks Ms Annette! Youre never too old to go back to school, and sometimes all it takes is one person to make all of the difference.

I just Graduated from AIB’s Full Specialist program, I had a great experience. The teachers that I had, Ms. Melany (Nail Technology) & Mrs. Annette (Skin Care). Both of my teachers were fantastic. They both encouraged me throughout the time I was there. Both of my teachers had over 20 years of work in their field which allowed them to empart upon us more than just the knowledge the curriculum offered, we were also thought about how things work in the real world and how to handle real world situations. I would not pick different teachers❤️ The other staff have been wounderful too particularly Ms. Adrienne in the Business office, Mr. Calvin who’s in hatch of sanitation, and Ms. Laury who works the front desk. My overall experience has been terrific!

I don’t usually do the whole review thing, but since the last service I feel it is necessary to do so. I’ve been bringing my husband in for the past 5 years and through out the time I’d usually rate this school a 1 star but within the past 6-8 months I can say with a whole heart that my expectations have been met. I would love to thank the young lady Carolyn who has been servicing my husband, for not only making sure he feels good but for also making him look amazing! Carolyn is beyond a hard worker at what she does but most importantly she is also very genuine when it comes to her craft. She is observant and she takes her time. It shows value. I can say that when she leaves we will be following her. Thank you to American Institute Of Beauty for taking in students that actually strive to further their growth within their opportunities and to guiding this young lady in the path she is highly determined to complete and succeed in.

Yesterday I saw Ameena Lee for a haircut and it came out amazing! She was so nice and ready to learn from her teacher! For those worried about going to a beauty school for their haircut, the teachers are very hands on with their students to make sure they understand what needs to be done to achieve the look. Be sure to bring a picture for reference and know that it will take a little longer for the haircut. I will definitely be coming back for more salon services.

Miss Serena is an AMAZING nail teacher! She’s so thorough, patient, most of all knowledgeable. I definitely recommend taking the nail course with her. She got me into the field feeling ready & prepared for what the industry has to offer. Plus most classes or courses can be boring if the teacher isn’t enthusiastic or excited about the topic but she makes lectures very interesting & relevant to what is current. She also provided a great classroom environment so that we felt like we could lean on each other for help or to bounce creative ideas off of each other. Thank you Miss Serena for such a great environment & all the education you shared while I was there!

Today I saw Robert for a shampoo and blow out. He did a fantastic job. My hair has never felt so soft! He carefully took his time and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire service. I tend to have lots of knots and he was beyond gentle. Made me think he had been doing this for years. I had such a great experience I can’t wait to go back to have more services done!

My experience as an AIB student and now a graduate, was absolutely amazing. The esthetics program lead by Candice Darling changed my life. Miss Candice made every day fun and hands on. She helped me from point A all the way to point Z. I graduated and was able to get a great job immediately after graduating. She still checks in to see how things are in my career. This instructor not only cares but ALWAYS goes the extra miles for her students and peers. She even got my terrible hormonal acne in check with regular facials and chemical peels. 10/10 Miss Candice, you make a difference!!

When I was attending AIB I was enrolled in the nail technology course, and Ms. Serena was my teacher. I was new to nails so I had a lot to learn and I was overwhelmed by the bookwork but I can honestly say that because of Ms Serena it was the best school experience I’ve had. She really goes over and above for her students. She took the time to go over things with me and made sure I thoroughly understood the curriculum we were being taught. When I had to take test I did great and I really do feel I owe that to Ms. Serena. She made it enjoyable to learn and even just come to class in general because she’s just a genuinely nice/cool person. We would do fun nail trivia in class too so it made things easy to learn. She made sure if we wanted to learn something specifically she would go out of her way to show us a demo. With that being said, Ms. Serena taught me so much in the three months of my course. Even after graduating I know that if I have a question or concern with nails she’s willing to help with no hesitation. This has been a journey I’ll never forget. I started AIB as a Cosmetology student but a few months into the program I realized that path wasn’t for me so I decided to switch to Full-Specialist, and when I tell you that was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life. I had two amazing teachers that I wouldn’t trade for the world, Ms Melanie was a great nail teacher, always with a smile on her face and probably the only person you’ll ever meet with the kindest, purest heart. And there’s Ms Annette(Ms A) as we all call her, she has truly been a positive influence in my life for the BEST. She didn’t only become my teacher,but also a friend,and even a mother figure. She’s helped me in so many ways that I don’t even know how to pay her back. I’m grateful for all the beautiful moments lived in this school,the bad ones; grateful for the people I’ve met and stayed in my life and even the ones who didn’t. I know today my grandparents are celebrating in heaven because their baby has a certificate in this big foreign country and I promised my grandma I’d be somebody one day. 3/28/23 i graduated from AIB as a full specialist.. yay! this was the longest journey i have everrrr had! I caught COVID TWICE and had a baby, i thought i would never get done with the program.. but when I came back from having COVID the second time my teacher Ms.Annette was determined to get me graduated. I always came in class and sat down and didn’t say much because i didn’t really have an interest for skin but Ms.Annette changed all of that for me. This lady pushed me soooo hard lol i took about 3 test a day to catch up from being out so much. She took her time with me, gave me demos and even texted me while i was out checking up on me. I love her sooo much and I am so glad that she was my teacher when i got back. I would also like to give Kudos to Ms.Melanie! She is an awesome nail instructor! Everyday that i came in class she had a project for me lol even when i felt like i couldn’t do it and any area that i struggled in she took her time to help me perfect it! And lastly i cannot forget Ms.Serena she stepped in when we had no instructor i love her for that because without her our program would have been on pause.
