He pays meticulous attention to client needs and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure his clients satisfaction.I booked an appointment for my sister, and Remi expertly weaved in all the highlights to create a seamless transition from dark to lighter ends, skillfully blending the surface patches left from previous colors. He even scheduled a follow-up appointment to lighten up the neck hairline, even though it already looked perfect.My sister couldnt be happier with the results, and I will definitely be stopping by to get my perfect hairstyle next time I am in Florida.Highly recommend!Thank you, Remi.

We are in Venice for the winter and I thought I would just let my hair grow out, mostly because I didn’t know any stylist here in town! I couldn’t take it another day so I decided to do a little research to find a stylist here in Venice.After reading some of the other reviews (and trusting my own instincts) I decided to give Remi a call. He actually squeezed me in the same day and I gotta say he did an amazing job! I LOVE my hair cut!!! Ive been struggling to find a great stylist since I moved to this area, so I am so fortunate that Remi had a cancellation and was able to fit me in, and I can truly say that he is an absolute miracle worker! I was so worried that I had damaged my hair beyond repair when I had used a boxed color on it that had basically turned it black, but Remi masterfully fixed it way beyond my expectations! I am amazed at how well the colors blend now, he did a really beautiful job.He was also so easy to talk to and just a really nice presence and energy to be around. He went above and beyond to make me comfortable and the salon is absolutely adorable. Needless to say, I truly lucked out by finding him and no longer need to shop around for a new stylist!Thank you Remi! ☺️

After months of dealing with new hair growth which blessedly returned after brain radiation, I contacted Remi to consult on how to blend my natural blonde, straighter hair with the new darker, curly portion which stuck out throughout the back. I became concerned only because I will be job hunting and didnt want to have this full-time bedhead appearance. He had me come in a couple of days later and showed me a quick and easy solution to help with this issue. I was embarrassed to see the simple option he showed me, but post radiation hair growth was something I never dealt with before, and I just never thought of it. So, thank you Remi for your prompt resolution, your time and kindness, and most of all how you care for others. Wishing you a happy and healthy 2025!

My grandma took me here after she had an amazing experience, and I have to say that I agree. Just walking into the salon gave of a sense of welcoming and coziness. Remi himself was an extremely kindhearted and talented man. He was quick and strait to the point when cutting my hair, but still took the time to chat and made sure I thought it looked nice. Overall, the entire experience felt very homey and I will be coming back here any time I need a haircut.

I called Remi on a Thursday afternoon. I was in desperate need of a great hair professional to try to fix my hair that was badly burned and breaking off froma Blonde Specialist, B. A. I was not even one of his clients, however he said without hesitation, I can see you tomorrow, come on in. I couldnt believe it! He was even getting ready to go to his sisters wedding out of the country in a couple days, but Remi took the time for someone he didnt even know! There are just not many people, never mind stylists that would do that! Next day, I went in, he saw the bad condition of my hair. He trimmed it up from all the breakage to make it possible to style. He colored a temporary fix until my hair can handle highlights again. The temporary fix was quick and came out awesome. He truly knew exactly what to do in order for me to not look like a freak for quite a while. What a professional! However, most importantly, what a wonderful soul. I wish there were more Remis in our world! I STILL AM SO APPRECIATIVE AND THANK YOU EVERYDAY!!!

After losing my hair a second time to chemo and ending up with “chemo curls” and a thick curly pixie mess 10 months later, I made my appointment with Remi. (I was going to start going to him after all the rave reviews, but of course, didn’t need to go). First off, he remembered me from nearly a year ago and thoughtfully asked how I was. He fixed me up into a cute pixie I absolutely love! Took the time to show me different products I can use whether I go straight pixie or the au natural wavy curls I still have. Remi is a great conversationalist and warm person all around. I walked out today feeling like a model! Thank you Remi so very much.

Remi was absolutely wonderful! The second I sat down I knew I was in good hands. Just moved down to Florida and had to try out a new salon, which we all know is nerve wracking. Although typically closed on Sunday, Remi voluntarily came in on his day off to cut my hair. Not only did he fix it up he completely exceeded my expectations and cleaned it up very nicely! There is not enough room to describe the absolute fantastic experience at Remis. Wonderful small salon with character. Remi was tasked with correcting a botched coloring job from another hair salon in the area.He not only corrected it, but gave me what I initially asked for in less time and at an afforable price, and made me feel happy about my hair. Beyond that, the conversation was stimulating, fun and full of stories about travel and culture. If you have not been there, I urge you to go. Your will not be sorry!

Going to a new hair stylist is never easy. Im relatively new to the area and wasnt sure who to ask for a recommendation. The first salon I went to made me feel like I didnt belong there. The salon is cozy and welcoming, a real family feeling as everyone, (and I mean customers as well as staff) was chatty and friendly. Remi and Susanne know a lot about their customers. Hands down this is the best haircut I’ve ever had. I have long, black, coarse Asian hair and my biggest problem is the weight and extra body it holds, especially at the ends. Remi used a technique I’ve never seen before that totally corrected this for me. My new look reminds me of the hairstyles on the show Friends, but without the Hollywood price tag! I wish I had taken before and after photos to document the dramatic change. Remi is truly an artist! I will never go anywhere else!

I went to Remi last second last Saturday afternoon after another salon made some mistakes highlighting my hair. I had a celebration of life for my father that day and I wanted to look nice. Remi was fully booked but fit me in after hearing my situation. He completely redid my hair and even lightened my eyebrows for free; all in 45 minutes. The services included highlighting, toner, and eyebrows. He is a true artist and extremely nice! It feels like family stepping into his salon. My advice is to book him early and often as he has quite a following in the area. While I was there he was working with a 22 year old senior from UT that he had been cutting her hair for 19 years! I came in with a horrible haircut from another local salon and Re’mi was marvelous. He colored all the gray roots and matched my color perfectly with my natural color erasing all the grey. Then he made a beautiful cut and style out of the uneven and chopped mess I came in with. All while being so welcoming and and professional. He just kept reassuring me he would make it look better. It’s a conveniently easy location to get to and find parking in a historical building as well as clean. His wife Gilina does massage as well which I had a 90 min massage a few days later and what a relaxing and regenerative experience. They both are a wonder team and make you feel like long time friends and really care about your thoughts about there work. If your in the need for a great stylist or massage therapist you can’t go wrong with this salon and they are reasonably priced too another plus. First class all the way. A friend highly recommended this salon. The owner is very personable and gave me exactly what I wanted, a haircut that looks great even if I dont blow dry it. I have medium length, super fine blonde hair. He layered it perfectly giving it lift and body without it looking choppy. The business is located on a beautiful street in Venice facing a park. As he cuts your hair the chair faces this peaceful setting making the whole experience so relaxing. He allotted enough time between his appointments, truly making it a spa like pampered experience.
