Had a great experience at Putting on the Ritz today. Alex did an amazing job bleaching and toning my hair. I wanted a change and she went above and beyond my expectations. A new cut also added to my fun new look. Thanks sooo much for making my day! -

Been there, done that with so many salons...some really good, others not so much! Walk in and feel like I am visiting family. Walk out and LOOK better, FEEL better! MY stylist, Lauren is a gem. Shes talented, lovely and has become a friend. Teresa, the owner is so welcoming as is Alex who does everything from reception, hair, etc. A special place for sure, with very special people!Puttin On the Ritz client for several years -

I am a 53yr old male with long hair that I rarely have cut. Last time was 2018. I am usually spontaneous when I decide to do so. I ducked into Puttin On The Ritz on a whim. I walked in and asked if theyd take a walk in. Alex was very kind and accommodating. She did an amazing job intuiting the needs of some pretty thick and curly hair with a lot of split ends. Needed a new Hairstylists.. I walked in a few salons to check out cleanliness, professionalism, salon atmosphere and distance between chairs & staff. Several were like overcrowded, loud, snobby, rush rush & way over priced. Finally, I walked in to Putting on the Ritz, it was clean, beautiful ambiance and generous space between stations. Lovely!Greeted by Lauren who answered all my questions & offered her creative suggestions too.Made appointment with Lauren & cant say how happy I am with the results! My hair looks & feels fabulously great! Elegant Salon, great staff & undivided attention!! -

Teresa was very qualified and took her craft seriously. She went about her time and effort methodically with my curly hair which I’ve always had a difficult time finding a hairdresser this qualified. I enjoyed her light chatting with me. She was so easy to be with I felt very comfortable and supported by her confidence as she went along making sure I was happy with what she had done so far. My knowledge of what I needed for my head of hair was important to her. We worked well together. I am exploring Venice area for future winters as a northerner. This was a total feather in my cap. I walked out with confidence I will definitely come back to her. Even if we are t super close in the future I would travel far to have her work her magic. Thanks Teresa. I really appreciated all your effort, kindness, willingness to take your time with me. I do hope I come back to this area just so I can have a great haircut. You’re the real deal. ✨😊✨ -

I am from OH visiting Venice for the winter. I made an appointment with Lauren for color and trim. She was amazing and did a fantastic job! Very impressed. Everyone I encountered was kind and professional. The salon is very clean.I’ll be back next year and I’ll request Lauren again! -

Tracy is the best stylist I have found in years. Before I left Venice in May she gave me the best color and haircut Ive had in the past 10 years. I just had my hair done yesterday up north here for the tune of $257 and the girl undid everything Tracy did. The color is so dark and Im very unhappy with everything. Cant wait to get back to Venice so Tracy can fix it all for much less. $257 is way out of line for short hair especially when youre very unhappy with it. -

Had difficulty finding someone who could do a nice wedge cut here in town. Saw a parent at my school sporting a really cute cut and asked who did her hair. She directed me to Puttin on the Ritz and she happens to work there. Ann did a great job and now Ive found my favorite salon in Venice! Robin the owner is a great lady too! When I visit Katrina in Venice, the results are amazing...skin, hair and sense of humor are amazing. The technique is well thought out, explained and never a surprise. Looks Great! She is a wonderful person inside and out! -

Very helpful, welcoming and friendly place! Highly recommend making an appointment!! We went for several services and they did not have some one available to do them all at the time. Had I have called that morning, I feel sure that would have not been an issue. They were very eager to accommodate us the moment we stepped in the door! -
