    Dr Rogers is wonderful my husband and I have been seeing him for many years. I have melanoma and he immediately sent me to Moffet cancer center where it was removed. I now see Dr Rogers every six months for a complete checkup looking for more cancer and advising me on care for my skin. He is very knowledgeable, caring and friendly always giving plenty of time for advice and questions.

    As usual I was treated wonderfully by all that I interacted with. Dr. Roger’s gave me a thorough examination. He found a couple of things I didn’t even know about. The doctor explained all of my options and gave me excellent suggestions. highly recommended.

    I appreciate Dr Rogers so much. In addition to monitoring problems with your skin. Dr Rogers is always full of great information. He doesnt push pills, if he does think that you need to take something, hes quick to give you the side effects and the cost. He believes in a natural way to do things.

    I have gone to Dr. Michael Rogers for decades and he also took care of my parents skin for decades. As Florida natives, we all spent our childhood years in the sun. I trust Dr Rogers not to do expensive, unnecessary procedures, but to take the right action when needed.     Dr Kennon performed Mohs surgery on my hand. He explained my choices for repair after the surgery. Also, I was given a paper with instructions for after surgery. He called in the afternoon to check on my progress! How nice. Very efficient, clean and on time. He’s the best!!

    I’m sharing about my recent experience at Lakeside Dermatology. This is the second time I’ve been there, my first time last year. That’s when I met Barbara Ross and I immediately knew I would come back. She was very knowledgeable and skillful in her work. Last year she froze a place from my nose and this year she removed a large mole from my neck. I never once felt discomfort on either visit. When I say good place to go I mean it. I am so impressed that I will no longer procrastinate going to a dermatologist for skin check. Thank you Barbara Ross and your assistance for your professionalism.

    Appointment was on time. Having moved to the sunshine state, I was glad to find dermatology center. With covid I misses having a skin check in for a couple of years so I was ecstatic to get all clear skin check. They were through and answered any concerns I had.

    Had Mohs surgery by Dr. Kennon for squamous cell cancer on my forehead. Highly recommend as he explained the surgery and answered my questions, which helped tremendously when dealing with anxiety about the unknown. He was gentle and reassuring and provided excellent post-surgery instructions, and a follow-up appointment to make sure it was healing nicely.

    Excellent experience with this doctors office. Office was easy to find, plenty of parking. Plenty of seating in the waiting room. Restroom is close, easy to find and clean. Wait time was minimal, nurse was knowledgeable and friendly and she marked the areas I was concerned about. When the doctor came in he was thorough checking my body for abnormalities and took time to explain what I was worried about and what I would need to do about it.He explains everything before continuing. Excellent care at this office.

    I needed facial surgery for a melanoma.We arrived at 7:30 and waited a short time to be taken to the examination room.The nurse explained the procedure and prepped me.The surgeon was in very quickly and again explained the procedure.After removing the melanoma,I waited a short time for the examination of the melanoma to be sure all cancer was removed.The surgeon stitched me up,the nurse bandaged me up,gave possurgery directions,and I was released.Very little pain during and after surgery.The surgeon himself called later in the day to be sure everything was OK.

    I am so pleased with Dr Rogers and Dr Kennan. I was so afraid after the MOHS surgery because of how sneaky the cancer had hidden and was not visible. A regular check up was the key. Dr Kennan did the best to find all of it. Then did the procedure to restore my nose. I’m so pleased.

    We went to almost every dermotologist in highlands county and then some in other areas. Dr rogers was recommended to us. He has made us very happy to be his patients. He is considerate, knowledgeable, caring and makes sure that you are throughly satisfied with his work. His office staff especially Pam his receptionist tries to find an opening so we can get in if we see a problem. The others who work in examing room with Dr take the time after Dr. is done with you to explain in detail what instructions to follow. The surgical team with Dr Keenan are excellent .His patients are treated with the same high standards. The only way to find out about this wonderful team is to make an appt like we did.

    Love this Dermatology Practice!! I needed a Mohn’s Surgeon last year (2022) as soon as we arrived from Ohio-did my homework and found Dr Alex Kennon. He is amazing!     I cant say enough about how much I like this doctor and practice. There is next to no wait if you arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. Everyone on the staff is so friendly and helpful.     Had a great experience. I had gone to another dermatologist 2years ago, very disappointed. Dr Rogers was great, did full body exam, asked about my health, the other dermatologist just asked why I was there no body exam. I showed Dr Rogers my previous problem and my new problem.     Incredible practice with an amazing staff. You won’t find a better doctor with such an outstanding bedside manner.     Nothing like the well known “chain” dermatology who is only interested in cutting and making money. They only remove what is truly a concern or if you would like removal because of cosmetic reasons. I see Brooke who is the best dermatologist I have ever been to.     I don’t have a lot of experience with dermatologists, but Ms Ross was very gentle and kind while doing my first annual skin check. She warned me before doing anything including numbing a small spot on my cheek so she could take a specimen for lab work. Although the office set up is a bit choppy with different practitioners in separate suites, that was a minor issue as each office was well organized. In fact that might be preferred as there is no large sitting area where some might be self conscious. Overall, good experience!

    I have been a patient at Lakeside Dermatology for over 35 years. They have always been first class in my opinion. Dr. Rogers has always been a great doctor in treating my many Basal Cell & Squamous Cell lesions. Now with the addition of Dr. Kennon to the practice, I have had several MOHS procedures done by him. He is excellent at what he does and all the procedures have gone very well. The office staff are always very friendly, competent, and accommodating. I highly recommend the Lakeside Dermatology practice.Today, 12/8/23, I had the Photodynamic Therapy done on my scalp. Although it is not a very pleasant experience, it has proven very effective in containing the damage to my scalp after a lifetime of over exposure to the sun. The young lady who administered the medication to my scalp and then attended to the Photodynamic machine use was very kind, patient and knowledgeable. She made the whole process more pleasant and tolerable. I’m sorry that I have forgotten her name, but I greatly appreciate her kindness towards me. Thank you.

    Nobody want’s to hear that scary word “cancer” but for me , unfortunately this was my second time . The great thing was I was already an established patient with Dr Keenon , who had been treating me for a completely different skin condition. I just happened to find this suspicious spot and remembered what the doctor had said years prior “watch they come back” He quickly identified, obtained a biopsy and once resulted, scheduled me for the Mohs procedure . He is highly skilled and provides care in a caring and professional manner. His office staff and nurses are equally friendly and professional. From start to finish I was made to feel like I was being well cared for , complete with a follow up call from Dr Keenon himself later in the day “just calling to see if your okay , don’t hesitate to call if you have any problems “ Superb customer service!
