I cannot recommend Gina enough! After moving to St. Pete I found it very hard to find a new waxer that checked all the boxes. Arrived and was greeted in a friendly, welcoming manner. Locale is a clean & open, comfortable space. Met owners Gina and spouse. Appointment was with Gina and started directly on time. Gina is knowledgeable and patient when explaining services. Work space was organized. We wore masks. She wore gloves and used clean, new spatulas. She kept space tidy and wiped down. Gina recommended services that yielded very satisfying results for me. I got home and must say that my results are immaculate! She answered my questions and talked me through the anxious parts of the process, yet remained within the time frame allotted. Has an impressive line of products for follow up care. Next appointment booked and I highly recommend this company.

I had my eyebrows, nose and ears waxed by Gina. I have been coming to Gina for over 5 years now and am glad she has her own place now. She does so much better with this new wax than where she used to work and the service is almost painless because of her counterpressure technique. I love how she is able to get my eyes perfect every time and my nose it amazing compared to all of the other guys I hang out with. Shaving these areas only made my hair thicker and since Ive been coming to Gina my hair is much easier to remove and I dont even have to do it as often since Ive been following her plan for the last 5 years. She explained what was going to be expected and had the most WONDERFUL attitude. She uses hard wax instead of the painful wax strips which was much easier on my very sensitive skin. I have been back to The Smooth Wax lounge about 5 times now and all of my ingrown hairs are gone along with those razor bumps. The spa is beautifully decorated and the staff was friendly, welcoming and professional. The hard wax was nicely removed and the checkout process was smooth. Getting a wax can be uncomfortable and embarrassing but the environment and the owners make it completely comfortable. I go monthly and I have never had a bad experience. This is my go to place for all waxing. They also have a nice skincare section for your needs which are reasonably priced. I’ve been getting waxed for over a decade now and and have been to so many places. I travel a lot so I’ve never had a go to place. Some waxes hurt worse then others and I thought It was waxer causing me pain but after going to smooth wax lounge I realized it was not only the waxer but also the wax! This is by far my favorite waxing salon! The wax she uses is amazing! It really makes a difference! The least painful wax I’ve ever had. Quick too!
