I just want to give shout out to Janine who shampooed and cut my hair this morning! I was looking for a new place to get my haircut because my barber retired after 40 years. Janine took her time we talked and she asked each time if this is what I wanted before going on. Janine did a magnificent job and shell be the one cutting my hair from now on! So Fantastic Sams will have two new customers because Janine even answered my questions about my mothers hair situation. Sue has been doing my hair for longer than Id like to say online 😉 Ive never been disappointed in any of my different styles over the years. Her suggestions and recommendations on hair care are on point each time.At the shop Ive always been greeted with a smile and professionalism no matter how busy or time of day by Sue and the other stylist. These ladies know what theyre doing and will get you in and out with a fresh new style at an affordable price.You say Commercial Chain...I say neighborhood hair salon where you see the same ladies year after year.Special Shout out to Toni! Staff is fantastic. Janine has been my stylist for nearly a year now and does a great job. She is a seasoned professional that knows hair. I used to visit one of those very expensive salons. Now I go to Janine every month for a very reasonable price and I get a great cut that is as good or better than the fancy salon.

I have been going to FS on 66th st. In Kenneth City to see Sue for over 10 years. I will never let anyone but Sue do my hair! My hair is very difficult to color and I have had many stylist attempt my hair with disastrous results. Not with Sue! She listened to me when I explained my hair and she knew exactly what to do. I always leave her chair looking like a million dollars! I have had so many people ask me who does my hair, even strangers, and I always send them to Sue. She is a phenomenal stylist and wonderful person as well. Thank you Sue!!!! Youre the best!!!!

She did a nice deep conditioning wash as well as thinning out my thick hair and then she blew dry it straight for me with all great products that they sell there. She took her time, finding how my hair naturally lays, asking plenty of questions about styling and my current hair routine, even taking in to account my hair has a natural wave. She didnt skip a beat. I had an important dinner to attend and she gave me the confidence I was looking for! Thanks MISTY! And thanks Fantastic Sams for having her in your shop. I have been going to Sue at this Fantastc Sam’s for 20+ years and have never been disappointed. Both of my kids grew up getting a “Miss Sue” haircut and even though they both are out of state, they still wish they could find someone like Miss Sue that could cut their hair. They always say to tell her hello. She was also excellent working with my deceased disabled husband for haircuts and beard trims. He loved the way Sue treated him! Sue was the one I trusted to cut my waist length hair when I decided to go short. The salon is always clean and the staff friendly. I would recommend Sue and Fantastic Sam’s 100%.

I go to this specific location for one specific person (although all the ladies there are wonderful). My girl Morgan ALWAYS sets me up with the best cuts! She really listens to my needs and follows through. I have very long very thick hair with a slight wave so it’s very hard for me to find a place to get my hair cut that doesn’t take 2 hours and this girl has me in and out in less than 30 min. She’s has helped me save my hair line and completely got rid of my frizz with just the way she cut my hair and I could not be happier. Also can’t beat the price!! Highly recommend her if you need a fast EXCELLENT cut.

Ask for Sue. Shes so sweet and a great hairdresser. They always take you quickly whether you call in advance or walk-in. Last time I was here I was having my hair cut to donate to Wigs for Kids which made the process longer and more work for Sue but she didnt charge me extra and didnt rush the cut. Brought my husband here as well. Definitely a great place for all ages and styling needs.

Went to get a haircut for my daughter and Sara was our stylist. She did an amazing job. She was my stylist before I lost contact with her. Im so glad I found her again. My daughter is super pleased with the haircut. Shes been wanting her haircut in a certain style for so long and finally we found the best person to deliver what we were looking for. We went from long hair into a short cut almost bob style. I have to say, Sara was greatly knowledgeable on hair care and an awesome, skilled stylist. The service was pleasant and positive. That makes our experience truly important. Sara made our day and we plan on coming back!

Professional and kind, she always takes her time to do the job right and asks for my input ... before, during, and after. The shop is always clean and well run and my appointments generally always run on-time or quite near it. If the rating system here had a six star rating option, I would give it!

I usually go to a different salon and after my favorite stylist left I was devastated! I went to a few different places and was so unhappy. Then I called this salon the gentleman who answered the phone was so polite and helpful. I went in the very next day to get a haircut and blowout and he was FANTASTIC! He was so professional and did an amazing cut! He barley took anything off yet my hair felt so healthy and the shape was absolutely perfect! I wont go ANYWHERE else! Seriously, please go see Anthony he is absolutely wonderful 💯!

I had bleach/sun/salt damage to my hair...Robert did a great job of listening to me then exceeding my expectations. I told him I mainly wanted the grey gone from hairline (i have 4 spots of course grey hair near ears and temples), and that after the summer I plan to do an all-over color and redo highlights....I just want a little something to make me presentable but not spend a lot of money because Im outdoors and at the beach a lot. He helped me choose a color that would help blend my roots with the hot mess of highlights in various stages of fading...then used a non-amonia hair color to get rid of the Greys around my hairline and used the leftover color with shampoo to blend/tone down the bleachy color in my highlights. He mentioned products but didnt badger me or try to upsell like other places. It was nice to be listened to and get exactly what I asked!

Sue is a special person,to many people including her own family, without her at Fantastic Sams I believe this place probably would have closed, I love this woman like my own sister.
