    Hair day!!!! Here’s my review: 10/0 Amelia absolutely knocked it out of the park for my girls. Their hair looks and feels so healthy. She was so kind and so attentive and knowledgeable about the girls hair types, one curly one wavy, and she even had tips and tricks up her sleeve to teach me! The salon was clean, serene and we even shared several laughs. I will be coming back for myself and I am so glad I found Carlie’s salon, Amelia is an absolute angel! 😇 And

    I cant say enough good things about my experience with Johanna Mata! She did an absolutely amazing job with my hair. I have finally found someone who truly knows how to work magic with hair. Her skills are top-notch, and I walked out of the salon feeling like a million bucks.Not only is she incredibly talented, but she also has a fantastic personality that made the entire experience so enjoyable.     My daughter and I started going to Carlie’s last spring. We have been very happy going here. The atmosphere is very pleasant and everyone is friendly and welcoming. My daughter has her long hair cut in layers and highlights done by Amelia. She has been thrilled with her hair each time. Amelia made sure my daughter was feeling comfortable every step of the way after letting her know that she had an unfortunate experience previously at a different salon. Her hair now looks stunning. I see Cole for a cut. I have long layers. She always reviews with me what I would like done and how much length I would like taken off. My hair is naturally curly and she knows the right products and styling to get my hair smooth but with fullness and body. My hair is also thick and she is gentle while blow drying my hair. It is obvious that Cole takes pride in the services and care that she provides to her clients. I leave the salon very happy with my hair every time.

    First time in the salon and received a wonderful cut from Jeannie. Im very picky about my hair and she was able to give me exactly what I was looking for. Explained to her my likes and dislikes about my hair and she created the perfect, low maintenance cut. Thank you Jeannie! Highly recommend.

    CURLY GIRLS!! I just got the most amazing haircut and color with RACHEL! She had a huge assignment correcting a bad cut and color from a different salon, and she absolutely nailed it.Rachel listened to, and understood my frustration. She is trained in providing Diva Cuts, which was exactly what I didnt know I needed. I will never have anything less now!Thank you Rachel, youre a gift🥰

    Stacy is the absolute best!!! She has been doing my hair for about 6 months, but it feels like a lifetime. She is super fast ( which is important to a very busy single mom) and very efficient! I love her work and I’ve already sent a few of my friends to see her.. they of course love her too!! If you want amazingly beautiful hair go see my girl Stacy!!

    Jeannie is amazing! She transformed my hair from medium length to a short graduated bob. I was impressed how she communicated with me through the cut explaining what she was doing and products. I was most impressed how particular she was with her cuts and checks of the cut. Overall, great experience from her customer service to the cut. I highly recommend Jeannie!

    I was absolutely in tears with joy over how happy and full of love for Ash C and how she did my hair! She is truly an artist🎨 ! She talked me through what styles and colors look best and why. Even though Ive had my hair done for years by some great stylists, Ive been happy with some and not others mainly because of what I picked. She helped me think through those that I always liked best and made my hair gorgeous! Thanks Ash C for taking the time and really putting quality work into doing my hair!     The salon is very welcoming. The front desk lady was wonderful and so sweet. She was very patient with me while I had my child with. Ameila did an amazing job at bringing my hair back to life! After having a child my hair went to crap and now I feel like beautiful lady. Definitely recommend and WILL BE BACK!

    I tried a itll be easy, just do it yourself job on my hair and it went Horribly wrong! I called Charlies in tears and told them my situation and they were able to get me in ASAP! When I arrived I was nervous and scared that I had done irreversible damage.. Rachel was my hairstylist and she was so welcoming and understanding when I sat down.. she took her time explaining to me my options but assured me she would give me a new look if i just trusted her process and I instantly felt relieved! She was very kind and we chatted while she went to work, which really took my mind off of things.. after a long while she turned my chair around and I really couldnt believe my eyes! My hair looked so great, a different look for sure but I unexpectedly loved it more than my last style! I really can not thank her enough.. she went above and beyond and made my experience very enjoyable considering the situation.. I would give her 10 star if

    I found Carlie and an awesome chic named Rachel !! I was in need of a perm.     I went here for a quick trim and blow out, and I was blown away. This location is so beautiful on the inside and the staff is amazing. They take the time to do consultations prior to starting services to ensure they meet your expectations. The care and service they provide is exceptional and I will be back for other services.     I had time to kill in the area while waiting for my daughter, and decided to walk in to grab a card to Carlie’s ( I was long due for a hair cut) I was happy to find that they have available stylist, her name is Jeannie N. She suggested a style that’ll fit my round pretty face ☺️ and I am very happy with the result! She washed my hair and styled it after, all went very smooth and was treated very nicely. Stuff is friendly, salon is clean, highly RECOMMEND.

    Amanda L is the lady to see to get beautiful hair. She is amazing with color and style!!I had a horrible experience at E’lan salon in Punta Gorda and I won’t go anywhere else but Carlies Cutting Edge for my hair. 5 star quality ⭐️

    Went there for the first time to get my daughters haircut. She has very thick hair and it is hard to find someone who can cut it properly. Ash did her hair and did an amazing job! My daughter who has disabilities was very happy with her hair and really liked Ash. Thank you Ash for being so kind to her and giving her a new hairdo. 😊

    Everyone from the desk girl to all the stylists ive seen have always been so sweet and did a really good job helping me decide what I want. Specifically Mel, she did my biggest appointment there, a full balayage with a haircut. It came out stunning. 6 months later Im still obsessed with it she kept everything nice and blended

    Jeannie cut my hair and did fantastic! She took the time to listen to what I wanted, and explained what she planned to do as well as answered all my questions. She also discussed future coloring/highlighting and took time to tell me what would look best. She was dressed very professionally and looked like she was ready to work. Lastly, she was very friendly and welcoming as well. I will be back!!

    Ameila knows what shes doing!!! It was my first time getting my hair done by her, and she is absolutely amazing!!     Love this place stylist Ameila does a great job.I have been told my whole life that I have the most difficult hair to cut.     Ive been going to Carlies for years and as long as I live in this area I will never go anywhere else. Ive had a couple stylists during that time, but my current stylist is Nicolette and she is amazing! She is sweet and knowledgeable and most importantly, listens to what I want and does a stupendous job with my hair. She also goes the extra mile with taking care of me during my appointment which is much appreciated. All of the employees Ive interacted with at Carlies have also treated me very well, such as the front desk staff. The prices are very reasonable. Well deserved 5 star review.

    I was in Florida visiting family and Ashley Garcia Diaz was recommended to me. She dyed my hair like the color of a rainbow on the underneath part and it was amazing. She also did highlights on the top part of my head. If I only had enough money to fly back and forth to Florida to get my hair down by Ashley.     Ariana and all the staff are amazing! Ariana is the ONLY person Ill let touch my hair. My first appt with her left me a little too blonde, and I reached out after about a week letting them know that I wasn’t in love with it, and they fit me in for a correction. I have never done that before and Mel left me feeling heard and validated.     I was nervous finding a new stylist when moving from Pennsylvania to Florida. Fortunately I found Rachel at Carlies Cutting Edge Salon in Port Charlotte. The salon itself has a very cool vibe that makes you feel relaxed immediately and the staff always friendly.Rachel is the best stylist Ive ever had at 59 years old. She very carefully listens to what you want while giving an honest opinion if the style will work with your hair type. She also will provide some suggestions that are always spot on. She takes her time and never makes you feel like you are being rushed out of the door. She explains each process as she goes along to make sure you understand and agree Rachel always makes me feel extremely comfortable and is very professional while having an excellent personality. I just got my hair cut, high and low lighted, and styled Friday and it turned out exactly how I pictured it. I walked out of there feeling like a queen. I highly recommend Rachel and give her 10 stars.

    This was my best salon experience ever! I had a thorough consult with my stylist first and she gave me exactly what I wanted! My hair is absolutely gorgeous and feels better than ever. And the decor and atmosphere was so beautiful and inviting. The stylists and staff made me feel like I was right at home especially during my long appointment, which is sometimes boring at other salons. She started the process with me from being dark brunette to blonde balayage and I couldnt be happier. She always takes her time and listens to what I am looking to do with my hair.     In town visiting family and needed a haircut. I wanted a long layered bob that hit right under the chin, a cut that incouod just blow dry and let it go without much fuss. My stylist was Dorka. She took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for. She cut the length, layers, did a face frame and then finished with dry point cuts.     Carlies Cutting Edge Salon: Ashley Garcia Hansen has been doing hair for years and very good at it! She was interested in hair since she was a little girl. I recommend giving her a call if you want beautiful color or a cut or many other hairstyles. Shes known for doing a colorful rainbow style and just covering gray and beautiful haircuts. I can also say that shes been doing my hair forever and the family from young to old. She is one of the best!!!

    I love this place! I was lucky enough to find an awesome stylist, Chelsey. She will actually listen and do exactly what you ask. Something I had not experienced in a salon, ever! She takes her time and gives me a beautiful cut and style every time. I bring my two daughters to her as well for the express keratin treatment. It smooths their hair and makes it more manageable for them to straighten. It is an affordable and effective treatment.     This is my 3rd time going to Stephan. The first was a haircut, which I love. Then he colored it. Its a golden light brown and everyone loves color as well as me! Today he gave me a keratin treatment because when the humidity is here, its just frizzy, ugly hair. When I left, I thought I was a different person. Its smooth and soft and NOT frizzy. Butch said its never looked better! Stephan listens to what you want, suggests different ideas to get you there. Hes one of the best stylists anywhere. You wont be disappointed.     Went here to get my hair done for prom which turned out to be gorgeous. In fact my hair was able to survive the night and it was light weight. I was amazed. Brittanee has been amazing with all the different colors Ive thrown at her!! Aside from being awesome at what she does, she is such a sweet & fun person to talk to. They didnt have any openings, but told me they would call if they had a cancellation. 20 minutes later they called and scheduled me with Stephan. What a stroke of luck!     Im here on vacation and was hankering for a new style. I have curly hair and wanted a modified pixie cut. Not only did Sam give me exactly the style I was looking for, she paid close attention to details and was very professional. The salon is decorated beautifully, and the beverage area offers not only tea and coffee but wine and snacks as well. Everyone was friendly, dressed appropriately, and had a current hairstyle. I would definitely go back!

    I started going to see Nicole in October 2020 and this place is amazing from the atmosphere right now to the stylist themselves. Everyone talks to you like you’re family when you walk in and all of the stylists there have immense talent.I won’t ever go to another hair salon as long as I live in Florida. 💅 highly recommend Nicole ☺️

    I needed a trim badly and Mandy stepped up and did an awesome job. She was able to follow my style and asked questions concerning the cut.     I recently went in for a haircut with Stefan and when I walked in I was blown away by the professionalism and ambiance of the salon. I was acknowledged immediately and made to feel comfortable. I could tell the owner takes great pride in the aesthetic and in making sure the place is safe from COVID. There was plastic partitions between each station and sanitation seemed to be important here. STEFAN did an amazing job cutting my hair he was personable cut was on point. I would drive an hour just to get a great cut like this. Thankyou so much great staff and great barber/stylist.

    Amazing! Had my first visit and my first hair cut in over 2yrs. Nicole* did an amazing job not only on my hair but also with customer service. After many horrific incidences with my hair in the past, I am very scared of letting anyone cut my hair. Nicole was extremely inviting and helped me relax right away.     I called them to get highlights done and was able to get appointment for the next day with Stephan. My first time there and I was amazed how beautiful it looked inside. Everyone was nice and friendly. Stephan did a wonderful job with my highlights. I would recommend this place to everyone. I walked out happy .

    I have extremely thick and natural curly hair. Some stylists are intimidated by how much hair I have. But for Katlynn it was a challenge she was not scared to endeavor. I booked highlights and a haircut. The end result was fabulous. Love her work and her passion.

    I finally found a salon with a stylist who knows exactly how I want my hair and styled it beautifully. Roxanne whats my stylist and I already made my appointment to go back and see her. This Salon followed CDC guidelines for covid-19. I also like the fact that they had plastic curtains between each station. May I also add that the salon is decorated beautifully and very welcoming.

    I am a huge fan of Carlie. I found her when she had just moved to FL and was working at another salon. I have followed her to her final destination...her own salon. She and her stylists treat you like you are the only client that they have. They do not over book, or do two clients at once. All of their attention is on you. Carlie is a perfectionist. You will not leave the chair with a hair out of place. Her skills are superb. Nicole right next to Carlie is amazing. The colors that she will custom blend for you are fabulous. There is no boxed color from a tube. They will mix the colors that will work best for you. That is a talent and not a skill. Book quick as Carlies Cutting Edge Salon is quickly becoming the beauty destination in North Port.

    I went to Carlies Cutting Edge a few weeks ago and got my hair styled by Dorka, who always does an amazing job. She styled my hair better than i could have dreamed! A very friendly and CLEAN environment, I am excited to try out the new North Port location aswell.
