My first time going to this salon and Gretchen was my awesome stylist. Ive been looking for a new stylist for a little over a year and have walked out of different salons because no one seemed to know how to cut layers for me. Gretchen knew immediately and did such an awesome and beautiful job on my hair. She was confident and what she was doing which made me feel very comfortable and not nervous about walking out and being unhappy with my service. I highly recommend this salon and definitely book with Gretchen.

Megan did SUCH a great job! I called last minute and she was able to see me within the hour! How cosmically perfect. I gave her a very basic, vague general idea of what I wanted and she really cant through. She knows her stuff and is super friendly. I will see her every time now 👌🎯💯

My experience every time I go get my hair done is so welcoming, Everyone one is so nice! The salon is always clean, it is by far the best salon that I have found. My hairdresser Ashley is wonderful she does my hair exactly how I want it everytime. Im always pleased when I walk out! I wouldnt go to anyone else now that Ive got her. Give Ashley or one of the others a try and you wont be disappointed!!

Haylee is awesome great with cuts and amazing with color great with curly and straight hair.here 21 yrs and from Brooklyn NY and I have been looking for someone I have very dark curly hair and colored dark over the counter and I wanted blonde put in and she did it. My hair amazing. Looks like gold is spun Threw in. Also Megan is amazing she does my nails with a new produce it is a resin no bad smell doesnt ruin you real nails stays no lifts. She is so sweet. They are 2 great people very comfortable atmosphere would never go anywhere else again. Ty girls.

Great Place! Individual studios for each tech, so you don’t have to listen to all the unwanted gossip associated with so many salons. Mindy does a great cut and wonderful job of coloring. I have high and low lights put in my hair and I am always receiving complements on the color and cut. Have referred numerous friends and family to Mindy at A Select Salon and everyone has been completely satisfied. Pricing is reasonable, staff is friendly and it is a clean welcoming environment. I am a full time resident of North Port and go to Mindy approximately every 5 weeks and have never had a bad experience. Can’t recommend it enough!! By the way I am Pam, not Mike…

I went to Carrie, she is the bomb! Not only did I get what I asked for; it was way above my expectations. The salon is very aesthetically pleasing and comfortable to be in, each stylist has their own seperate office so you dont have to feel a crowd of people watching your hair get cut and again, I highly recommend Carrie. I held onto her business card for whenever I come back. Excellent service.

Megan cut my hair and she was amazing!!! She’s new to the area but is experienced and it shows. Not only do I love my hair, she had a great personality. Definitely recommend her and will be coming back.

I studied all of the then available options for starting out my styling business in Port Charlotte and settled on the best available option. A Select Salon is a unique concept of individual private studios manned by only the best stylist available, offering a wide range of services at reasonable prices. If I had not opened my own salon, I would still be there. A Select Salon is a class act from the Ceiling to the Floor and I am proud to still call Mindy my friend and not a competitor.

I have been coming to A Select Salon for four years since arriving in Florida. The atmosphere is wonderful, my Stylist Dee is amazing with color the pricing is very competitive for the area and the location is convenient!! I couldnt imagine going anywhere else!!

A Select Salon is a wonderful salon, so many times I find myself with a hair cut I didnt ask for. But, not this time! Mindy did exactly what a picture I brought in showed, and also showed me some very good pomade/wax products to keep my look up to par. I couldnt be happier. Thanks for everything!

I did my own dye job and ended up with horrific coloring. I called on a Saturday at 1PM and was referred to Donna Michaels who told me to come right in. I left with a beautiful color correction, a cut and style as well as feeling better than I have in a long time. I work so much that I dont get out much. Todays makeover was like a girls day with how sweet my stylist was and 5 star treatment! Thank you, A Select Salon and Donna Michaels. I left crying, but happy tears.

I went there last night. Karina took great care of my mother in law. She had a messy hair from previous cut in other place. She was very unhappy with her look. I was in the store about three days ago and I was transitioning from a previously dyed Black hair color, and I wanted to go to Blonde. Big change I know but after I went into the salon and talked with a woman named Michelle she informed me about the steps Id have to take and how she could help me. After my day is the salon I couldnt be more happier with the color and how little damage my hair received. I will most definitely go back to this salon, it was a life saver! :)

Wow, the service I experienced while visiting my Aunt was incredible, and you could tell they really just wanted to please. I cant remember the name of the woman that did my hair, but she was fabulous. I would reccomend this place to anybody.
