I used this Salon for my bridal hair and makeup as well as for all of my bridesmaids and immediate family members. Everything turned out better than expected! I was beyond happy with my hair and makeup! It lasted well beyond the wedding and I couldnt be happier. Highly recommended for local and affordable! We had a total of 7 people for hair and makeup and we were accommodated perfectly. I booked the appointment about a year in advance to ensure availability.

I have been a customer of Salon Jaylee for the past 6 years. Megan Shaw (who is currently at the Southern Trace location) has been my stylist for the entire time. She always provides me with excellent service. She is a Master Stylist who truly knows her craft. She knows exactly how I like my hair colored and styled and always makes me feel gorgeous when I walk out of her shop. She understands customer service and does an outstanding job making sure I’m happy when I leave her shop! I wouldn’t go anywhere else to get my hair done! I highly recommend her if you want excellence in your hair coloring, cutting, or styling!

Azra did an incredibly wonderful job on my 16-year-old daughter’s hair! My daughter walked in with orange/brassy, uneven-toned, highlighted hair. Azra was able to get my daughter’s darker strands back to her natural colors, and added the most beautiful highlights. After all of this work, my teen daughter’s hair was the softest it has been in months! Azra had great attentiveness to detail, and truly gave my daughter (and me) the look my daughter had wanted to start her school year off right. I highly recommend Azra & Salon Jaylee, and will be back for services myself!

The prices are reasonable. Always availability depending on the service needed. I’ve seen Maddie the last couple times I went and she was super friendly and did an amazing job. I think she’s been more excited about doing my hair than I was and i love and appreciate her energy. It’s been the first time in a while I can say I love my hair. My hair is super thick and a lot of stylists I’ve gone to always make negative comments about it or have an attitude the second they start. Even when I’ve phoned ahead to request a longer appointment time to warn and accommodate. Maddie didn’t complain at all. And was so excited to help me get the look I wanted the first time I saw her. The second time I went she was so excited to tell me about what she had been thinking about all week long for my hair. I loved the fact that she thought about me and what she could do to help make me look amazing and love my hair.

Today, I visited Salon Jaylee for the first time. Alexis did my hair. She did a root tap, partial highlight, toner, mask, cut and style. I love the way my hair feels and looks, and really enjoyed my time with Alexis as well as all of the other stylists at the Salon. They have a promotion right now with R+Co Bleu you purchase the shampoo and conditioner and get the mask free, they are all full size bottles. I highly recommend Salon Jaylee the atmosphere is exquisite and the staff welcomes you as if you were at home. I’ve rebooked my next appointment.

I had another great experience at Salon Jaylee. I decided to wear a longer short style as opposed to letting my hair grow out and wear it longer. Emily gave me one of the best cuts Ive ever had. I like the style and ease of care. I have fine but thick hair with ridiculous cowlicks so a good cut isnt easy but Emily did a great job. Plus I really like the new lower prices a Salon Jaylee.Im letting my hair grow out from a very short style. I expected the process to be difficult but Sarah shapes and maintains a style that I like as my hair gets longer. I am really pleased. Also Salon Jaylee is a lovely salon. Its bright, cheerful and the staff is warm and friendly.

My daughter came in with a terrible haircut that needed to be fixed, and Azra did an outstanding job. She was incredibly patient with my 4-year-old and clearly has the knowledge and experience to correct the previous salon’s mistake. My daughter’s hair turned out beautifully, and we had such a positive experience—well definitely be coming back.

Angela is the best stylist ever!! My first visit with her was after I had foolishly decided to get a perm. While the perm wasn’t the disaster I thought it was, I had no idea what to do with my hair afterwords. She gave me a perfect cut and introduced me to the most amazing product called Bleu Rebounce. I loved how my hair turned out (and it’s effortless to manage).I could go on, but suffice it to say that Angela truly is the consummate professional — very perceptive and skilled and a great ambassador for Salon Jaylee. I would like to give 5 stars because I love the way Bethanne cuts and colors my hair. However, I do take offense at the outrageous prices you are now charging in addition to tacking on a customer tip convenience fee when adding a tip if using a debit card. When I return in the fall, I will seriously consider looking for another hair salon because of your rising prices.

They use new disposable equipment for each person, so you don’t have to worry about getting nail fungus. Price includes glass(es) of 3 different kinds of wine which is nice. My mom and I did together and we sat side-by-side in the massage chairs for our pedicures which includes lower leg massage. It was very nice.

I was visiting the area and got a last-minute appointment with Alexis; she did a fantastic wash/heavy condition and blowout. I’d trust her to handle anything. Wish I lived here full time! For almost 10 years, Jackie Johnson has been coloring and cutting my hair. She is the best! Everyone compliments my hair color and style and wants to know who does my hair! Jackie also colors my sister’s hair and cuts my 92 year old mother’s hair. Her patience with my mother is extraordinary. One more thing, her scalp massages during shampooing are so so relaxing!

McKayla, my stylist met me promptly and she began to talk to me about my hair (McKayla has cut/styled my hair twice, but she changed locations and I sorta lost touch) Next, she spent alot of time reacquainting with my hair, offered suggestions after listening to what I was wanting . I ended up with a beautiful cut/style. Bottom line: friendly, happy atmosphere, clean and modern, professional services without pressure, and other girly stuff to purchase and hair products if needed. When I moved to The Villages as a young professional who was used to only going to the best salons, I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to find a salon appropriate for people my age. After trying out a few in the area, I finally booked with McKayla Bugg as Salon Jaylee in Southern Trace and I fell in LOVE. The salon is beautiful, very modern, impeccably clean, the chairs for the hair wash station are amazingly comfortable, and the service I received was fantastic. I believe McKayla was a higher level, a cut with her was just north of $70, but I’d go again in a heartbeat. She worked with me to figure out exactly what I wanted, but then she used her expertise to make my hair even better. Highly recommend this salon, and highly recommend McKayla Bugg as your stylist!

Went in for highlights on Saturday (8/27/16) and I left beyond happy! I scheduled a 9:30 apt with Jessica P. (who is absolutely FANTASTIC). She started promptly at 9:30 and had me out of there by 12:45 (which is impressive for having hair halfway down your back... she didnt cut corners either!) The entire staff was so kind. I genuinely enjoyed my time in the salon. Coming from the Davenport area its definitely a drive, but totally worth it! Looking forward for my next visit.

My stylist, Alexis Garcia, was wonderful. She took the time to understand exactly what I wanted done, to answer questions, and to provide services and help regarding other beauty issues. One of my questions involved finding a lightweight foundation. She found the perfect product and color for my complexion. Salon Jaylee has a large number of quality products available. No one pressured me to buy anything. I simply wanted to mention that fact for those that might be interested. I highly recommend Salon Jaylee at Southern Trace Plaza and Alexis Garcia.

KEYANA gave me the perfect haircut!! Two years ago my hair was chopped off and stacked in the back, against my wishes. I have been growing it out and I finally decided I needed someone to FIX it but I just didnt want to lose the length I had worked so hard to achieve which is finally down to my shoulders. Keyana sectioned my hair as a true professional and she cut my hair so it was even/symmetrical on both sides and she KEPT my Length! Its 4 days later and I am still so thrilled at he job she did! She listened and she did exactly what I was hoping for. The price was a little higher than I had paid in the past $45 vs. $18 but obviously you get what you pay for! For the price, you get your hair washed in a massaging chair (I didnt want to get out of that), the salon was clean and beautiful, everyone was nice, and I just cant say enough about KEYANA!!! I finally feel good about my hair again!!! Thank you KEYANA and Salon Jaylee at the Wedgewood location.

Parker’s been doing my hair for over a year now and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. From the moment you walk in the door you are treated warmly and professionally. **************UPDATE**************Not more than 30 minutes after submitting my review (1 star), I received a phone call from Parker from Salon Jaylee. I cannot express how sincere he was in apologizing for what happened and made up for it in a very generous way. As I told Parker, I wasn’t try to get something by my review, I was just simply upset over my treatment. Again, not only was Parker sincerely apologetic but made it his personal quest to see that I was treated fairly. In fact I’d say I walked away from him feeling like royalty. Thank you Parker for going above and beyond to make sure you didn’t lose a customer. You have my business once again. Thank you so much for taking the initiative to respond so quickly.***************************************I’ve always been very pleased with my experiences at Salon Jaylee. The staff has always been extremely friendly and made me feel like a valued customer. Until just now. On my last visit I purchased a bottle of Bare Mineral foundation. When I opened it up by turning the cap, the entire lid and pump came up. I knew that wasn’t right. It didn’t spill but I was also very careful. I even tried just pulling the cap off but it didn’t seem to want to budge and I didn’t want to break it. So I returned it hoping to exchange it or show me if I was doing something wrong. The young lady who helped me had zero personality to start with. I already felt like there was a problem before she even looked at it. She too opened it exactly as I did the first time except she spilled a fair amount of it onto her mousepad as well as on the bottle and her hands. She then put the cap back on and proceeded to pull the cap off instead which revealed the pump. She stated I was just doing it wrong. I said ok but I’ll take a different bottle since it had spilled. She looked at me funny and said why? She said she couldn’t because she wouldn’t be able to sell it. No one else will want to buy it and there’s nothing wrong with it. She handed the bag back to me and walked away. No thank you. No have a nice day. Nothing. What kind of service is that and especially at Salon Jaylee? She could have nicely just apologized and worded it differently. I was made to feel like I was trying to get away with something. I’ve spent enough money there and would never expect to be treated like that. And, if nobody else would want it as she said, then why would she think I would? I’m very displeased with the way I was treated. It makes me never want to go back there. Over a $34 bottle of foundation. She could have handled it differently. She definitely shouldn’t be representing Jaylee with the attitude she showed me.Not to mention there was a gentleman employee standing next to her and he seemed nice enough but when she started to ask me why when I requested a different bottle, he stopped speaking from then on. He didn’t say goodbye either. Very juvenile behavior in my opinion. You just lost a customer in case anybody cares. (I don’t know the name of the young lady but this took place approximately 1:00pm on 11/27/2018.
