Madi is fantastic. She did my daughters hair, cut and dye, a couple weeks ago and it was just absolutely amazing. She did my hair Saturday and killed it! My daughter and I both have some pretty curly hair, and the both of us have a LOT of it. She listened to what we wanted, did her thing, asked us if there was anything she wanted us to change, etc. I have no other nice words to describe how great she was. Outside of her, the whole staff is so nice and funny and just over all sweet. I cannot recommend Wanderlust enough. I love them 💗

Wanderlust Salon and Spa is absolutely the best! I have never felt so at home at any other salon before. The staff is amazing and extremely talented, I refer all my family and friends to Wanderlust. I have been getting my extensions done there for almost three years now. I recently graduated and am planning to still make the trip up to Tallahassee from South Florida just to get this incredible service. You truly cannot find it anywhere else.

Amanda did an amazing job with my hair! She listened to my concerns about my fine, flat hair and gave me a cut with beautiful curtain bangs with a blowout and style that made my hair voluminous and gorgeous, exactly what I wanted! She also took the time for me to consult with her about extensions and offered her recommendations that made me feel confident in making the right choice. A great experience!

Beca is a godsend! She tightened my hand-tied extensions and gave me a rootmelt “bronde” that blends perfectly from my natural hair to the extension. My color is absolutely flawless and better than what I expected. Truly a professional! From suggesting small changes to help my extensions look more natural, to styling my final look, there is no one better! She forever has my business!

They know what they’re doing in terms of color! Always had a hard time finding people who could get me to the shade of blonde I wanted till I came to this salon. They’re very talented and provide great service.

I went a few months back and had an appointment with Hannah. She did absolutely amazing! I get full highlights and I have a lot of hair so it takes a long time. She was so patient throughout and very sweet. I’ve moved from St. Pete to NC and back to FL. Honestly out of the many hairstylists I’ve been to Hannah did the best! I definitely will be coming back in the future!

I made an appointment blind , no references, and I have to say I was nervous!! Sarah greeted me on time and asked so many quality questions and really set me at ease. I received EXACTLY what we discussed with encouragement for future hair endeavors! I am so pleased with my new do!!! I left and had to stop at the grocery and received compliments on my hair style! Spot on Sarah! Thank you so much! My front desk experience was also great, such a happy salon!

Sydney did a fantastic job giving me the hair of my dreams! I wanted a vibrant copper balayage and she helped me pick out the perfect colors and it turned out better than I even anticipated. She also was sweet enough to show me how to curl my hair since I didn’t really know how. She’s great at what she does, kind, and professional. I love this place. I’ve never really enjoyed getting my hair done, but now I look forward to it as a relaxing couple of hours. The atmosphere is super inviting, the owners are sweeties, and the stylists I’ve had are great. I found Wanderlust when I needed my hair fixed after a disaster at another salon. (Seriously, my hair was blue, and not on purpose.) After giving me a free consultation, they set an appointment and four separate stylists, including the owners, jumped in to help throughout the afternoon that was required to fix the disaster I came in with. This is the fourth salon I’ve tried in my nine years in Tallahassee and the first one I’ve been happy with.

Scenia Carpenter made my haircut an absolutely phenomenal experience. It was like she knew the words that I was trying to say when explaining how I wanted my hair cut. So kind, so patient and does a more than thorough and perfect hair cut! All of the ladies in the shop are clearly very talented and I am so glad that I have finally found a top notch salon! Beautiful salon, and beautiful people!

Wanderlust is an amazing salon in Tallahassee, FL that provides top of the line services from highly trained professionals. They invest in their stylists by attending classes and seminars to further their skills regularly! The owners, Kayla and Lauren, did my hair and makeup for my wedding in January 2020 and I’ve never felt more beautiful! I highly recommend this salon! All of their stylists are welcoming and friendly.

It’s hard to trust somebody new with your hair. I was so happy I found Katelyn at Abyss Salon in downtown Stuart. It was time for a change and I needed to find a place that could give me a great look and make me feel like I mattered. Katelyn did an excellent job with my cut and balayage. She is is talented, sweet and down to earth. The salon is quaint and comfy and really made a great impression on me. I found a new home for my hair. Such a cute and professional salon! My first time coming here, the hair stylist worked with me to get the exact color I wanted, and offered me a free touch up within a week as well. The salon looks small from the outside, but when you walk inside you will be surprised with the space and beautiful decor. Would recommend to anyone!!

I have been seeing Kayla for 3 years now. She is amazing!! I first went to her wanting to be blonde and she helped get me there. She really listens to what you want and works with you. She did an amazing balayage first and then after took me full blonde, doing full highlights so its natural looking. I am obsessed. The atmosphere in the salon is amazing. I feel like Im right at home and with friends. She does such a good job on my hair. I couldnt imagine ever going anywhere else!!

This is the first place in a long time that Ive found to cut and style my long hair. The staff is extremely friendly and I truly felt comfortable with my stylist, Scenia . I love the fact that this salon offers a FREE consultation... Free! I have never seen this offer before. Scenia took her time with me on trying to figure out what to do with my hair. I did not feel pressed (like I have many times before) for time like she was in a rush. Even though on the day of my consultation there would be no charge. After many great suggestions, I left feeling that I, 100 percent , made the best choice! The experience was great, the staff treated you like a longtime friend and the outcome is exactly what I in visioned! I couldnt be more satisfied with this place! Thank you Wanderlust!!!

I wouldnt trust my hair to anyone else! These ladies know what theyre doing and are continually educating themselves with conferences and seminars to further their knowledge of beauty services. That is SO important to me, as it tells me they truly care about their services. They are so sweet and talented and incredibly competent.

I’ve been here three times and I’m extremely sastified with my highlights and the service from the whole staff and especially Beca! I’m not normally the person to keep up with my blonde, I used to get highlights twice a year so the fact that I’ve been so frequent (for me!) is a testament to their environment. I enjoy how welcoming everyone is, the acoustics on the floor are poor, it either echos and you feel like you’re yelling or it’s so quiet you can hear a pin drop- it just depends on when you’re there. But I’ve never felt pressured to get any particular service, and I really enjoy the hospitality each time I’m there. My sister goes here and I’m sure to refer anyone else I can!

I have been to nearly 10 salons in Tallahassee, and eventually ended up leaving them all for one reason or another. No longer - Ive finally found my holy grail hair salon! Scenia is incredibly talented and truly a master stylist. She actively listens to what I want and is always able to make my hair goals a reality. I will never go to another salon in Tallahassee and recommend her to all my friends! Wanderlust also has a great vibe and Ive gotten nothing but excellent customer service from all other employees there, whether it be the receptionist who greets me or the girl washing my hair. Cant recommend Wanderlust and Scenia enough!

Great hair stylist! She is very talented and pays close attention to detail and makes sure you leave looking nothing less than perfect. If you are looking for a hair stylist for coloring/precision cutting look no further. Katelyn is by far the best!

This is the second time that I see Scenia for a balayage and Brazilian blow out and I could not possibly be happier with how it all turned out! The color she mixed was perfect! My hair feels so much healthier and Scenia seamlessly blended the color through out. I would recommend her to anyone that wants to feel heard by their stylist.
