    Kudos to Monique and Wu! I was also mighty impressed with their instructor Kevin.First to Monique (student): I am 56 years old and I can honestly say this is the BEST haircut I have ever had! I have long hair with very uneven layers. I have not had my hair cut in 6 months. Monique took her time but thoroughly and diligently evened out and blended all my layers. I cant believe she has only been in school for 3 months! She gave me such an amazing shampoo and style. It took longer than I was used to, only because Im used to hair stylists who whack away and my hair in no time or real thought. I have no doubt Monique has a BRIGHT SHINING FUTURE ahead of her. I put pictures up of my hair from having just woken up (not even brushed). I still have my style from yesterday!My son Bradley had his hair cut with barber-in-training Wu. My won is 23 and has moderate functioning autism. Wu was very kind and patient with Bradley and gave him an amazing cut. Bradley was THRILLED (so was I). Wu really exceeded out expectations and surely will do well in this industry.I have to also compliment their instructor Kevin. Watching him instruct Monique and give her feedback truly blew my mind! I never realized how many factors needed to be considered before a stylist actually lays scissors to hair. He demonstrated a level of precision Ive never seen before. I admired how knowledgable, patient and thorough he was with Monique.

    Had a very pleasant experience at the Paul Mitchell Hair School. I had a gentleman by the name of Cris G and he was so amazing! I have very thick curly type c hair , which can be very difficult to take care of even for myself and yet Cris handled it with such great care! I did the Hydratriplex treatment and I got my hair blowed dried and braided up. I recommend for persons to get their hair done at this school because the students are amazing and friendly. I even had a great time speaking to Angelina , another student of the school and Ms Michelle was wonderful as well with helping the students master their craft ❤️. I was really impressed and am looking forward to coming back!

    I graduated Paul Mitchell The School in October of 2021. I am now a licensed cosmetologist working at a nice Aveda salon in Coconut Creek.I would not change my Paul Mitchell experience for anything. The color theory they taught me has assisted me so much even now that I am working at a salon that uses Aveda color. I have still been able to adapt and grow. I graduated school with the ability to perform great services and my skills have only increased.I learned everything there is to know about hair, makeup, eyelash extensions, waxing, skincare, and the basics of nails. Most importantly, I learned great customer service skills and consultation skills.I have met with a lot of stylists who attended Aveda schools. I have even been to Aveda school for a career fair with my salon. I have studied their curriculum. Aveda makes amazing products and Aveda stylists are very talented. However, I do feel that the Aveda education is very limiting. I am able to do so much more having gone to a Paul Mitchell school. I highly recommend attending a Paul Mitchell school. The education is more compatible no matter what salon you want to work at.Your experience attending beauty school is what you make of it. Take every opportunity there is to learn something new and push the boundaries of thinking outside of the box.Here are some pictures of the amazing work I was able to create at Paul Mitchell The School Fort Lauderdale.     The atmosphere and salon has a great setup. The music was tasteful and at a great volume.My stylist Sharetha did a marvelous job with my hair I couldn’t be more pleased. The tutor Mr Connor was attentive and gave great instruction.My hair come out beautiful and silky would definitely recommend and visit again.Below before & after photos 😁

    I am delighted every time I have my hair done at Paul Mitchell. Yes, it might take longer than going to a salon, but its a very enjoyable environment, and I am never disappointed. A haircut that would probably cost $50+ at the kind of salon these stylists will end up at costs $12. The students dont expect to be tipped, but I always do because they deserve it. When I used to color my hair, for $50, I would go home looking like I just spent $200.

    Melissa G. Took such great care of me. I got a wash, blow dry, press and cut. I felt human again🤗. Great customer service. Great conversation. Gave good information about the products and everything she was using and doing. 💯 percent would recommend 👍🏽

    My girlfriend tried different Paul Michell schools in different states as part of their salon services, but it never seemed quite right - we were so happy to find the Fort Lauderdale location, as it finally felt “right”.The staff were very professional and welcoming -  treating you as if you were part of their family. I want to thank Ms. Frank for guiding the student to fix my girlfriend’s hair color (to say it was having a bad hair day, would not have been an exaggeration).  The ladies at reception were very happy to see clients, and the students were enthusiastic to meet us.We have been attended to by various students from the day and night classes over the past few months,  and I would like to say that night students are the winners,  with special attention to Jaffna who attended to both us. We received many compliments regarding  our hair for the week following our visit.I would definitely recommend booking your next appointment with the night shift.

    First off I share reviews because I believe in giving kudos and negative reviews when they are nessary. This, in my opinion, helps people determine whether or not they will be going to a place or not. I went for a haircut and based with highlights yesterday. I was accompanied by my wife who also got her haircut and colored. From the moment we walked in, this place was extremely clean. And I thought it was very cool to see the behind the scenes on how a beauty school operates. My wife had a fantastic experience with Jacqueline. If you have a chance to check her out and shes available, I would highly highly recommend her. She is very passionate about her work. And she takes the time to listen to what you really want. She is extremely gentle and she will make your experience and extreme pleasure. I had someone else who was a new student. Do my hair yesterday. Unfortunately for me, my hair came out the worst its ever been and I get my hair done every 2 to 3 months. I had to come back today 7-8-23 and get my hair done as a complimentary. Today I went back and explained my frustrations to the director Mrs. Franc. When I tell you Mrs. FRANC is so passionate about her job. She sat with me and explained to me that she would do everything in her passion to fix the issue. Mrs. Franc worked hand and hand with Jacqueline and made it an amazing experience. They both working together as a team gave me the hairstyle I wanted. I did a base black with maroon highlights. They work so well as a team at this location. The staff and students are one big family and Mrs. FRANC makes sure they work In a great environment. Mrs. FRANC took her time to explain the process to Jacqueline to do a color correction. This process is normally 7 hours long and cost over $1,000. Mrs. FRANC made sure I left there happy and satisfied. She was very upset about my experience the previous day. This place is highly recommended

    From making the appointment to checking out this was a great experience. Samantha was very courteous and listened to how I wanted my hair style. She knew which products would work for my hair type and the tools to use on my hair. My hair felt so soft and my curls were perfect! I will be back again.

    Last time I went to Paul Mitchell I didn’t have a good experience, but went back again and someone else did my hair and she was amazing!! Best experience I had there, and I’ve been going for years. She did a great job dying my hair, got my hair to platinum blonde. Super happy and love my hair! Everyone at the Paul Mitchell school is so nice and friendly, and prices are affordable which is great!

    This will be my second time coming for a root touch & my first experience was AMAZING!! Very polite student & teacher! The student did WAY BETTER then many salons I’ve attended which is sad because salons should take theirs craft more seriously since they’re certified. Keep up the great job PM students & teachers. I’ll see you guys soon!!! Would definitely recommend 10000%!!!!

    Very good experience. My hair stylist, Alexandra always does an excellent job. Shes consistent, professional trustworthy and caring. She listens to my concerns and addresses them and make sure Im taken care of. I m very pleased with the services I receive.

    I am a repeat customer. Tianna did my blowout and she did a great job and has a lovely, friendly personality. Her teacher showed her how to blow out straight and I think that helped. I am sure with more practice, she will excel. Although my hair when done was still a tiny bit frizzy rather than smooth, I think it will be better next time. When I was leaving, I learned I was only her 4th client! Based on that fact, I would say she did an excellent job!!

    I love the students, they really do learn great techniques and how to do hair well. The teachers are sweet and very knowledgeable. However, the majority of the people Ive spoken to that work at the front desk are toxic. They often are snappy when not necessary and dont book appointments correctly. I booked with someone specific and when I got there they apparently booked me for someone else random. Would be 5 stars if the receptionists were all as sweet as the small blonde one that got pregnant. They arent though, so 4/5

    The service, and the attention given to my granddaughter, and myself is exceptional. I am quite disappointed. In the fact that I paid a total of $75 for my granddaughter, to have a relaxer only to find out that a relaxer is the worst thing for her hair. I do not understand why Botox and keratin are not taught at the school. We will return, but we will only have a wash and blow out type of service again. Also, I anticipated approximately 3 inches to be cut for my granddaughters hair and they cut over six.

    I had a wonderful time here and got a great haircut! The staff and students are very kind and attentive. It will take you slightly longer than a normal cut but I felt they really valued my input and made the experience a collaboration. Moreover, the price simply cant be beat. I liked the atmosphere, music, set-up, and pampering. Will definitely return in a few months for a freshen up.

    I had the pleasure of going to this school to have my hair colored, as I was away on vacation and needed a root touchup. My daughter suggested I check out a school for this , as she is a hairdresser and uses paul mitchell products. She sent me the formula for me to give them. I had the sweetest, and knowledgable girl, Marissa doing my hair, and ironically , she was from NJ too, where I am from! I could not have had a better experience, and I am so grateful that Marissa was my hairdresser that day!! I was so impressed with how the instructors came over to talk to her and I and I left with a great touchup!!!!

    Although I may add, customer service was immaculate, from front desk staff to the other students with hearing their stories. I will definitely come again, hopefully I can find a better color.     I’m blonde and very particular about color - I don’t want it to be brassy. Martine did an amazing job with the color & trim. She was very conscientious and enjoyable. I will definitely return and ask for her again! The teachers were very helpful and encouraging to the students.

    My consultation went very well! The student who did my hair was Amber. I went in for a trim and a wash and blow dry, it was lovely. I also got a 5-minute tea tree stress relief scalp massage and it was very invigorating. My haircut came out flawlessly especially with them being students! I was amazed! 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend. Very covid friendly, every other station was being used.

    Great atmosphere and outstanding service from very talented students. I had the pleasure of being service by Sharetha and I felt like I was in a spa. The wash room is so calming and relaxing. Soft music. Dim lighting and the aroma of the tea tree oil used was EVERYTHING.

    Absolutely Impressive! I used to be an Executive Director for another Beauty School in the North East. I used the Student Salon when I came to Florida. It was OK...then they closed. Thank Goodness... I love Student Salons - up to date styles, helping the student etc...then I decided to give Paul Mitchell School Fort Lauderdale a try. I was AMAZED!!! What a great school all catered to the Student AND the Clients experience. The Student, Renen was so helpful and he listened to every word the Instructor was telling him...Frank, the Instructor was BRILLIANT....patient, knowledgeable and took her time explaining and showing the Student, what a BREATH of FRESH AIR...My Color & Cut were FANTASTIC!!!!! and I am Picky! I recommend the Paul Mitchell School in Fort Lauderdale to everyone!!! It put my Former Student Salon to shame....I wish my Instructors were so spot on Thanks Renen, Thanks Frank & Thank You Paul Mitchell!
