I had an amazing experience with Alicia, the Nurse Practitioner at Dr. Throwers office. I highly recommend her. She was friendly and has great bedside manner. She is highly trained and skilled and I cant wait to go back for my next skincare treatment. In addition to having a wonderful skincare experience, my overall experience in the office was great. I was greeted with a smile, didnt have to wait long for my treatment and the office smelled wonderful. I will be sure to pick up one of their candles when I go back. 5/5 stars well deserved and my results look great!

From start to finish so far, the appointment was a success. I was able to get an appointment the same week that I called speaking to Marsha the front desk, young lady she was very knowledgeable and accommodating.For my appointment, I was greeted by Lakisha(the Best assistant) Who’s attitude was friendly and upbeat, and she made me feel comfortable with what I feel like are my flaws.I made a laser hair removal appointment with Kat Who is very knowledgeable and passionate about her work also the before and care treatment.Alicia, the office manager, Was helpful and patient re-explaining my daily regiment to me.The doctor was great as well

His products work 95% for the face (because the dark spots on my arms are still there); however, my advice is not to buy too many of the same products because they will go bad. I bought PBC and the toner and they went bad before the expiration date (2025). Thats about over $300 for 3 bottles I have to throw away. The lady at the reception desk told me that its been over 30 days so theres nothing they can do. At least she did give me a 10% off of my new purchase. Now I put both PBC and toner in the fridge. The bottles are smaller although longer, but they are not filled all the way up.

I have been going to Dr. Thrower since I was about 14 years old. I am 36 years old now and he is still the only dermatologist that I trust with my skin care needs. I went to him as a teenager for severe acne that I was suffering from. He took his time to try different products and medications with me before going to more drastic measures. My skin has been completely clear now for over 15 years. I refer all of my friends and family members to him for skin care related issues. When I tell you I am soooooo upset and disappointed in the entire office! Wow! I had to wait for this appointment for a whole month. I get there 30 minutes early filled out all the necessary information they asked. Turned it in then the representative goes to tell me she has to reschedule my appointment. I don’t typically run to give a negative review to black business but the doctor showed no compassion for my time nor was there anyone I could speak to to resolve the matter. I’m flustered!UPDATE: 05/19/2021 3:25pmAfter giving it some thought and hearing others suggestions I decided to give the office another try. I called with a disdain look on my face merely because I still felt a bit sour from this morning and rescheduling with an office that had no consideration for my time was not a fun task. When I called I press 2 to schedule appointment, I knew the drill so I was expecting to speak to the representative I spoke with this morning. I was preparing my speech to sincerely apologize for my frustration and although she truly tried everything in her power to ease my disappointment she was not shield from my professional raft. However I was immediately transferred to the office manager. I did not know how this conversation was going to go but she took control and apologized for the situation and she stated she was in the mist of calling me to make up for my inconvenience. I did not expect that at ALL! It shifted my mood completely. I went back to being excited as I was this morning. I was upset earlier but after contemplating on it...what else could they have done if it was an unexpected urgent matter? I’m not wrong for being flustered however I am wrong for not giving them the opportunity to rectify the situation. I didn’t go to another doctor because throughout my intensive research he is the best! Moral of this is I’m glad I called, glad they we’re inviting even after my rant and I’m glad I rescheduled. Thanks to Dr. Thrower, my two-year-old son’s eczema is finally under control. We visited many pediatricians, we had allergy tests, but he kept having flare ups. He wasn’t sleeping at night because of them and so Mommy and Daddy weren’t sleeping either. He would scratch in the middle of the night and I would find blood spots on his sheets and flakes of skin. We tried EVERY product on the market for eczema, recommendations from family members, friends, doctors and even stranger. We tried oatmeal baths, aloe, and wet wrapping his clothes, but NOTHING WORKED. I felt helpless and distraught that I couldn’t help him.Dr. Thrower said that we would have a new baby in a week and it was 100% true. We had a new baby in 3 days. My son’s skin looks 1000x better and my son is noticeably HAPPIER. He took his time with us and gave us a lot of information about what has happening with our son’s skin. He is very knowledgeable.
