RE: Sisterlock retie and shampooI had a great experience here at Mo Betta Braids. Besides loving the name as it references Denzel at his finest, I mean most talented. I made a retightening appointment from a recommendation I received in a random Walgreens. The service was fantastic in that she was accomadating, on-time, fast, knowledgeable, and professional, and I received quality work. :) Also, I must mention the chair was very comfortable, especially for sitting a long time. Thanks, I am a happy customer. 😊

I was lucky enough to find Denise who is a certified Sistalocs Tech. When I arrived new to the area My hair was almost 3 months since my last visit with a qualified person. The shop is small but clean and she is a true professional. Their prices are reasonable and for those that complain, I would suggest that they seek less qualified persons or do their own hair. She was wonderful and took less than 2 hours to tighten my locks that I have had for over 11 years. She is not much on small talk but her results are wonderful. I look forward to many more visits in the future. Thank you MO Better. Customer for life!!!

Destinee is the best! If you’re looking for a salon that does quality hair in a timely manner this is the place for you. I’ve been natural for about 9 years and Destinee has treated my hair through the process with protective styles as well as silk presses. My hair is now healthy and long. The environment is very relaxed and the stylist never rushes to take another client. Unlike most salons I’ve been to, the stylist you book is the only one who cares for your hair during your appointment. This is the only salon I trust with my hair!

I have sister locks which Denise started for me in 2005. I love the appointment only policy of the salon. You walk in and sit in the styling chair for your service. The longest Ive ever waited was 5 minutes and that was only once. I love the fact that Im not in a salon where I have to be part of the babysitting team or waiting for her to return and finish because she had to run out and get Ray Ray (boyfriend at home playing video games) some food cuz he hungry. You are in and out in as much time as it takes YOUR service. For me that is 2 hours tops for a wash and retightening. This is a professional shop.

I had a great experience with the stylist, Destinee. She was prompt, efficient and professional. She told me that it would take an hour to complete my daughters hair and she did so. We asked for a very specific style to be braided into her hair and she did it to perfection... Im from Illinois and I would definitely go back to her again if Im in town!
