My provider was Chan and he was so personable and asked me so many questions about what I liked and disliked about my nails to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. I love my nails so much. I recently moved from PA to FL and decided to try this salon out on a whim – I am so glad I did! The staff is so helpful and kind and the services are fantastic. My dip manicure lasts 4 weeks and if I break a nail, I am always taken care of between appointments. Plus, the salon pups and complementary adult beverage are two additional factors that really make this place stand out. These red chrome nails have been so festive for the holiday season! Thank you Ocean Nails for being the best!

My daughter and I finally found our go-to salon! we were greeted by Victoria who was very helpful in picking our colors and even asked if I wanted a price for my daughters nails prior to our service. My daughter is all about nail art and Johnny absolutely nailed it! I had my nails done by Mary and she was also fantastic! I wish we hadnt waited so long to try this place out! We have definitely found our new salon!

I will continue to shout from the rooftops how awesome this place is!! I’m always in and out pretty quickly but never rushed out the door! They’re all so kind and really take the time to make sure you’re taken care of!Today was a special circumstance as it was a monsoon outside and the power kept going on and off in our area but the owner stayed behind to stay open but sent most of her staff home to their kids for the rest of the day (how thoughtful!) I was seen by her and she was so sweet and intentional and kept fighting the chances of the power going off again! They even tag teamed my nails to ensure they got done no matter what!Such an incredible place and I’ll keep going back for years!

Tony is the 5th best at nail shapes jk!Tony takes extra care and attention asking how you like your nail shape. From how narrow to how round or flat you prefer the apex. Loved the attention to detail, the shape is the most important to me!He is also super kind and funny!

We absolutely love coming to this upscale 90’s nostalgic nail salon. The services are top notch with all the extra details and pampering. This is the only salon where my daughter’s gel nails haven’t come off within days of application. Her gel nails last 2 plus weeks!! They always treat us well and we drive over 30 minutes past hundreds of other salons just to come here.

I go to a cycling studio right down the street from this salon and one day after class just came in randomly for a walk-in pedicure. I got a classic pedicure, a gel pink and white French. This was on June 22nd, 2024…. As I write this review today is August the 11th, 2024 and I’m finally returning for another pedicure… I say that to say my pedicure has lasted longer than any I’ve received throughout Tampa to Brandon. Never had this quality of a pedicure, and I honestly didn’t even need to come in today I could’ve pushed it another week. This salon does a PHENOMENAL job and is true to take their time to provide you exactly what it is you’re wanting - and even surpasses that. I’ll forever be glad I randomly walked in here, this is the only salon in the Tampa/oldsmar area that will get my money. Outstanding job guys! Keep doing what you do EXACTLY the way that you’re doing it!

I LOVE ocean nails!! They are so friendly and have a nice choice of music from country, rap, r&b, kpop! I love the no kids policy (and I’m a mom). They offered wine when I walked in. If I could give this nail salon 10 out of 5 stars I would! I highly recommend this place. The salon is clean and everyone is very friendly and professional. I’ve only been twice, but wow! I never want to go anywhere else. The owner is fantastic. This salon really does care and delivers excellent service.Additionally, I left my first set on for OVER SIX WEEKS with no fill and they held up incredibly. I do a lot of yard work and swimming in the ocean, believe me when I say I was rough on them, I cannot believe how well they held up.

I cant say enough great things about this salon and the overall experience there. Johnny is my go-to nail tech and his professionalism, talent, and demeanor are always excellent. Another great tech is Sara, who is incredibly sweet and extremely careful with regard to hurt nails (jammed and broke my natural nail under the acrylic). Victoria is an amazing greeter and hostess who always makes sure you are comfortable. Lets not forget how beautiful my nails ALWAYS turn out! Truthfully the best nail salon I’ve come across in a very long time. From atmosphere, to staff and service, whether you live near or far, it’s a must to book an appointment with Ocean Nails. I was first pleasantly greeted and offered cold refreshments and a seat to wait after looking through the immense color collection they have. However, the wait wasn’t long before it was my turn. The nail tech, Bella, was extremely friendly and went right to work getting my acrylic fill. I had gotten a full set at a separate salon and expressed to Bella how I wasn’t happy with their work. She took her time and meticulously worked on my nails and got them perfect to the way I want. Although careful and detailed, it only took 45mins max to complete my nails! Perfect if you have others plans for your day. But our friendly conversation and relaxing music made the time seem even faster. When finished and told my total, I was even pleasantly surprised at how affordable they were for the quality of Bella’s work. I highly recommend Ocean Nails to anyone who’s been let down by other salons in the past and looking for high quality service and atmosphere!

Psst! Come closer. Can I share my newest beauty discovery with you? Would you like to hear it?My daughter treated me to a Mother’s Day Salon visit. Tony, my nail tech, was fantastic, and I enjoyed a fabulous Mani-Pedi from him. I even got a little carried away, chatting with Tony about the latest TV shows and celebrity news with him. Who knew he could juggle polish bottles and spill the tea at the same time?But before we left the salon, I decided to try their facial waxing to get rid of, you know, that unwanted facial hair. Lyn, the owner, is a licensed anesthetist, who took great care of me. She removed those stubborn hairs with precision.She also recommended laser hair removal to prevent ingrown hairs. I mean, who knew that my chin could be such a troublemaker? Couldnt believe the reasonable price! So, of course, I came back for treatments, and all those black hairs growing on my chin and upper lip were banished forever! No more ingrown hair bumps! No more plucking or depilatory cream burns!But wait! There’s more!Lyn started removing the dark spots on my cheeks. She is fantastic! Red LED light mask therapy for fine lines and wrinkles! Charcoal facials left me looking like I had just auditioned for a role in a movie, and the results were worth every dollar. And the collagen treatments for plumping mature skin? Let’s just say I’m now sporting cheeks that could double as fluffy pillows.But the real kicker? The SPF moisturizer cream, designed just for me by Lyn. I asked her if she could bottle her magic and she sent me home with it. Who knew that over the course of a couple of months, I can honestly say I look in the mirror in the mornings and smile at a fabulous me!!! No makeup required before I leave the house! Dark spots gone! My skin is plumper, smoother, and firmer! I’m so grateful for the discovery! Thank you, Lyn!! Can’t wait for your new cosmetic line to be developed! I’m obsessed! I went with a group of 5, we called ahead and set an appointment of course. When we got there they had us seated right away and were all SO accommodating and nice. The atmosphere and the energy was amazing, everyone I went with had such an amazing time. I have never been to a nail salon where it didn’t hurt when I was getting my nails done until now! The time and precision and attention to detail that everyone gave us, and made sure we were always comfortable were well worth the prices. (Which is not that expensive and they are very transparent about pricing upfront) don’t expect Louis Vuitton on a dollar tree budget! We will definitely be back!!

Incredible salon!! I’ve been to many and this place is by far the best. My mom and I went for mani/pedis and had 4 techs total and all of them did amazing work. The designs that we ended up getting were very detailed and they worked so hard to make them perfect. Lee did an incredible job on my acrylic set and everyone in the salon made us feel so welcomed. So happy I only live 5 minutes from here. This will be my go to place.

Been coming here every 3 weeks since the week they opened in 2022 and have never had a bad manicure or experience. I recommend them to everyone I know and no one is ever unsatisfied when they come. My mom, sister, and grandma are all regulars and love it here. I now live 30 minutes away and I still make the drive because I’ve never had a better manicure than the ones I get here. If you get your nails done here you won’t be disappointed!

Hands down the place is the best place to get your nails done. I bring my YOUNG TEENAGE daughter here and JOHNNY or whoever I get that day always ask every single step if I’m okay with it and if she’s happy with it. They always give me a price or let me know that it’ll be additional cost. The music here is so nostalgic and some new stuff I’ve never heard, I’m pregnant now but I loved their sangria and wine but right now I’m drinking their amazing house made tea and it’s so yummy. They are young and a good looking group but they are the best people to be around. They make jokes, make us laugh and have a great conversation. If you can’t handle the adult conversations don’t bring your children here. I love it

I just moved to the area and went to Ocean Nails today for a manicure/dip nails and had a great first experience. Its a very cute & relaxing salon/atmosphere. I was seated almost immediately and my nails were done in less than an hour. My nail tech was sweet and friendly and made sure I was happy with the work she was doing during the process, which I really appreciated; as I can be a bit OCD about the shape/length etc. The prices are reasonable too. I went to the salon for the first time. I had a pedicure with gel polish and a gel x manicure. I was very please with my services and the attention to detail my nail tech provided. I love that all of the techicians are equally trained at the same level and my follow appointments can be made with any nail tech that is available. The no kid policy and no second guest without them recieving services diminishes the extra noise that so many salons leave you dealing with as a client. The salon was very clean and very up front with the services and fees they charge. I will definitely be back for future services.

However, of all the oceans in the world, Ocean Nails is by far my favorite.If famed astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson told me a new ocean had been discovered on a far away planet, I would tell him “Listen… If it’s not another Ocean Nails location then I don’t care, okay esteemed author and Harvard graduate, Neil deGrasse Tyson?”.What do I love about this place?1. The people watching is top tier. You’ll just be sitting in your pedicure chair then some gorgeous, godlike being will walk past. Chances are they own the place.2. They give you 1 free drink - tea, sangria or wine.3. They are the best at what they do. I went to a nail salon near the movie theater and contracted athletes foot from unsanitary conditions. I went to a salon near a bunch of restaurants and they damaged my nail bed. I came to Ocean Nails and they found a way to treat my nails while addressing how brittle they are from low iron/anemia. I’m hooked!

I love how thorough they explain every pedicure and what they provide. Sometimes when I’m on a lunch break I have to get a classic pedi and it’s an express that does just enough. Light cuticle cutting, no exfoliating, no massage and trim/file toe nails and paint. Done. Perfect I love it in and out. And the nail designs are so amazing I love mostly everyone’s work. I am in absolute love with Ocean nails I’ve only been there twice but the atmosphere is amazing it is clean and most importantly the staff is amazing. I got my pedicure and my eyebrows waxed the lady who did my brows not only waxed them but reshaped them for me and educated me about my brows. I had the BEST pedicure I have ever had and would highly recommended the young woman if I knew her name. A business should really have employees wear name badges or else train their staff to ALWAYS tell customers their name. The three staff members I did communicate with were however pleasant and friendly.The manicure was average but what made it worse is the two fingernails I did have painted were totally ruined because I reached in my pockets to get my cc to pay and then did the same for my car keys. I will post a picture of my two orange middle finger wrecked nails. Needless to say these two nails looked good for less than five minutes and because I gave a generous tip because of the pedicurist, I felt ripped off because of the nails. I would return for the the pedicure most definitely but would have to think about the manicure.

Giving my honest opinion. If you know this actually is ran by the same owners who ran the nail shop in the Home Depot plaza on west Hillsborough, for 7 long years I went to that one and they closed it and moved to this new location, they used to be my go to for nails and I absolutely love the atmosphere but lately I just feel like it’s impossible to even get in there anymore you call ahead and it seems like no matter what day or time they are busy or they can schedule you an appointment, I am grateful for them that business is booming, but it’s upsetting when you have been going to the same place for years you get comfortable and it’s almost impossible to get in there anymore. I can also say be cautious about who you let do your eye brows there’s a short girl with short black hair who will do them sometimes and she always rushes and rubs the wax strips they end up burning the skin around your eyes. They do seem to be a little highly priced compared to other local options (you do get what you pay for). I am a fair person so giving four stars because I know that reviews impact and play a large part, if you are not a person who is schedule disciplined this location may not work for you, I have three kids and two full time jobs my schedule is everywhere so the scheduling portion just doesn’t work for me.

Absolutely love this place, they are ALWAYS AVAILABLE for walk-ins, acrylic, pedis, or regular nails. They are the best nail salon with the best customer service.They are always busy, but while you’re waiting a few minutes you get a glass of sangria or tea or wine!!

I am what you call a loyal customer, I love them, they are amazing at their job and have always gone above and beyond for me Johnny is a monster with nails the best of the best , Andy doing toes and omg his foot rubs perfect, eyebrows definitely lyn she is the queen but then again she is great at everything. Victoria doesn’t miss a beat from the moment I started with them she remembered my name . I love going to a place where I am treated like family .. if you haven’t yet you need to go by and ask for Johnny tell him Rosie sent you .

I love this place! Definitely the best salon I have been to in the Tampa Bay Area. Not only does the staff do a great job on nails but they also have the best personalities! I have a great time every time I go, they’re all so kind and fun! They also do the fastest full sets and fills and best pedis! 10/10 recommend

Amazing. My daughter has gotten acrylics here and they did an awesome job. I had a spa gel pedicure and it was very relaxing and looks wonderful. Atmosphere is peaceful and friendly. Staff is inviting and professional. I highly recommend.

The service is immaculate here! I don’t know what the last review was saying about “horrible service” but the instant you walk in here they greet you with a smile and a warm welcome and they even help you find a color if you are stuck, they try multiple colors on your fingers and wipe it off the second your done. You get offered a complementary wine, sangria, water or tea.. everyone may not speak good enough English but they try their best to understand you and ask they ask the hostess for help or you could even ask. No matter who I get it’s always a fantastic job, I’m treated like a princess here, I recommend coming here for a walk in or an appointment.

My facial was absolutely amazing with Sara. She is gentle and makes me feel very comfortable. The collagen treatment that she used was very helpful with the healing of my skin and large pores. Hands-down would do it again. It’s also the best way to relax on a day off.

I’d been looking for a new place for a while now. I quit do my toes and nails because I couldn’t find a really good place. My neighbor recommended Ocean Nails. Finally! A fab place. Really, really good techs. The place is super chic as well. Was able to carry conversations with the techs which I loved.

My over an hour drive to come see my girl, Bella, is worth every second of the drive! To say that Bella is the absolute best is a complete understatement, and no words can even describe how much I appreciate her. Her attention to detail and care for me as a person is why I will follow her anywhere. My nails looks impeccable every single time, and she has the most wonderful heart. She loves what she does and it shows in everything she does.
