Cherry is a great stylist, she did exactly what I wanted from the cut to my color…she is a wizard let me tell you because she was able to bring life to my hair it was a mess with box color black she had to correct and made absolutely beautiful again!! I will be coming back that’s for sure!! From day one she had great communication with scheduling my appointment. Such a cute salon too!!

I got highlights done by Cherry in early September and they still look amazing! I called random on a Friday morning and she got me in the same day for my appointment - which was wonderful! The salon is gorgeous as well and very clean! Definitely recommend and definitely will be going back soon! Before and after picture below!

This was my first time at Shear Misfits and I‘ve got to say I was pleasantly surprised with my experience. Summer cut and styled my curly hair beautifully. She was such a delight. Took my granddaughter to get a cut and accessment. Summer was absolutely phenomenal. Shop is amazing itself but her knowledge and instructions were worth a million bucks. She walked out feeling like the true beauty she is!We will definitely be back for color and cuts.Summers skills with curly hair was the best.Would recommend this salon to everyone!

I saw Cherry last week and had an amazing experience! Prior to the appointment to communicated with me a ton, even late at night, so we could plan the style and color I wanted for my hair. The appointment itself was great and I felt very involved with the process to make sure I had my hair turn out exactly how I wanted. Looking forward to my next visit!

Summer has been coloring my hair for close to a year now and i LOVE her. she has been able to transform my hair and make it look so beautiful all while keeping it healthy. she always talks you through everything she does and gives you the reasoning why she’s doing things which is not super common when getting your hair done. even when i initially started coming and my hair looked a mess she was never judgemental and was always so kind. i’ve told so many people to come here and i even brought my bf to my last appointment and she completely transformed his hair!! she is the sweetest, never pushy (like some other stylists) and always delivers amazing results. i always leave feeling better about myself! definitely book an appt at shear misfits!!

I had an AMAZING experience here. The two owners are extremely professional and friendly. They really listen to what you want done and go beyond expectations. I had Summer who did a Balayage on my hair (first time getting anything like this done) and she was absolutely wonderful! My hair came out beautifully and she really took her time during the process.Shear Misfits is a relatively new salon so they don’t have many reviews yet, but trust me when I say do not hesitate to book an appointment! You won’t be let down and they are extremely flexible when scheduling appointments.Also, their salon is so cool and unique, and I personally loved all the decorations. Since it is a small salon you have a lot of attention and privacy during your appointment, which is huge plus.Great people and a great establishment!

Summer did a great job catering to my wavy/curly-ish hair! Asked if she had enough time for a regular haircut, went in realizing I wanted color (for the first time ever) and she willing accepted and did a beautiful job! Love the atmosphere of the salon too!

My buddy’s wife recommended that I’d go get my haircut at shear misfits. So I went to check it out, made an appointment with summer and expressed how I don’t really like talking during getting my haircut and when I did get my haircut, she kept the conversation pretty short but if you like a talker, I’m certain she’s more than capable of talking your head off. Great customer experience and it’s a nice little shop. 10/10

I brought my 10 year old daughter and 6 year old son to get hair cuts for Back-to-School. The salon is beautiful and welcoming. Summer was fun and professional. Both my kids and I love their new looks! Thank you so much Summer! You definitely boosted their confidence and they’re ready for school! Cheryl is AMAZING. She does my hair perfectly every time and makes me feel gorgeous. I lost my last hairdresser to barber school and was scared to find someone else but BOY am I glad I did. Her studio is super cute and cozy. As a person she is very funny and awesome. She is so freaking accommodating. She fit me in at 7:15 am on a weekday so my hair was done for a big interview. She really is amazing and my hair literally always looks amazing because of her (color and cut). She even reassured me I can show up in sweatpants (I previously went to Avedas and what not and it was like a NO NO if you werent dressed high glam everytime) so now I get to enjoy my appointments even MORE. Anyways, choose this place, you wont regret it

Cheryl did an awesome job on my hair! I tried a hairstyle and color that was a big change for me and I love how it came out. Every step of the way she explained what she was doing, putting in my hair, etc. and asked about the length and the look I wanted before cutting. The shop was very clean and the decor is awesome, and Cheryl was great to talk to. Ill definitely be back!!!

If I could give this business more than 5 stars I would! Absolutely amazing!! I went in with a specific idea in mind and Cheryl perfected it! Amazing color and cut! The best experience I have had in Tampa with hair yet! She was super patient with me and really wanted to perfect my hair! 10/10 would recommend! Not to mention that it’s the cutest salon ever!!

I just moved to the area and needed a new salon. I was so excited to find a salon that has my vibe and was given very indivialized attention. Cheryl was fantastic and though at one point I was feelingvery blue lol...Cheryl was able to counteract an unexpected chemical reaction and my hair is perfect. Ms.cherry has been doing my colors and styles for years and she always understands the assignment. Recently she has taken me from dark brown hair to a sizzling copper color and I couldn’t be more happier it is phenomenally done my hair feels amazing the extensions I picked and wanted for my density I have natural thick curly hair ..her after care instructions have always taken my hair to the next level I will forever be her client and I have had no problem flying from Newyork to do so because of her talent and amazing personality ! I recommend her to everyone

I decided I wanted my four inch roots done. I’ve let my hair go for a long time now. & she didn’t judge me one once! She jumped straight to business & came up with a plan ! She said it’s highlighted is that what you want Bc lord knows I didn’t know. My dark brown roots took up more hair that the previous blonde highlights. ! & I sure did want it to look good again. I love blonde since I have dark brown hair. She couldn’t have done a better job & been so Genuine and sweet and knowledgeable about my hair. She educated me on what to do going forward to see the results I want. I am a natural kinky curly haired girl and some people see that as an obstacle or a challenge and she acted like it was no big deal. Oh & the shop is the cutest with the best vibe & energy. Completely safe Bc right now they are appointment only so it was literally just her & I. I felt special & like my health was being taken into consideration. I literally Googled hair colorist near me & she was 6 mins away. & I called & made an appointment! Im so happy with what she did. My results. But also of how you could just tell she really cared about you as an individual. I said all that to say this !!!! Go here !!!! They will make your hair amazing!
