    I had a wonderful experience today at this salon. George cut and styled my hair.I know nothing about hair or what to do with mine. Whenever I go to get my hair cut, I always hope that someone will help me know what will look best with my hair. George was an answer to that prayer today.I went in asking for layers but he helped me understand how that would not achieve what I really wanted. He suggested texturing. He also educated me on how to maintain my hair and get more from my natural waves/curls.Ive never been so happy leaving a hair salon. I feel so good about my hair and have some new knowledge on how to better care for my hair.I also want to mention all the other staff and how warm and welcoming they are with everyone who walks through the door.Ive definitely found my home salon.

    My mother is 90 years old and we have been trying to find a hairstylist that understood what she wanted. We had previously brought pictures in and no one was able to cut it the way she liked it until we got Heidi. Aside from giving her the perfect cut (exactly what she had been looking for), she was warm, friendly and a delight to chat with. So often it seems like everyone is rushed but Heidi took her time, listened, and cut it perfectly. We enjoyed chatting with her so much we were sorry we had to leave. She did a beautiful job and everyone that has seen it tells her she looks 70 instead of 90! We will definitely be going back to her again soon!

    All the girls here are so sweet!! Elizabeth does my hair and she is wonderful! She has done amazing things with my hair... seriously!! Their prices are really good too! I recommend this place to absolutely everyone! All the girls in my family have started going to see Elizabeth!😁

    George is a real professional in this field, an excellent Stylist and understands hair color is very individual for each client. He is very Creative, Courteous, Customer Oriented, and I always feel he is looking out for me. The staff at the front desk is always very welcoming and helpful. I would never think of going anywhere else!!!

    Took my 14 year old daughter here after a few poor experiences at other salons. We booked and got Heidi, she was absolutely amazing in every way. As a Dad I have little knowledge of hair, and all the terminology. I showed Heidi my instructions sent from my daughters Mom and Heidi heard my daughters requests as well.When I returned, the transformation had occurred. My daughter was actually jumping with excitement and the smile on my daughters face told me everything I needed to know. Heidi is now my daughters Hairstylist and Yellow Strawberry is my daughters salon.Thank you Heidi !!!

    Heidi is awesome! Not only is she a stylist, par excellence, she is also a consultant, a confidant, a psychologist and someone very easy to talk to! And, I love my new hair style!

    I was in town for a few days visiting / relaxing. I asked my friend for some recommendations and was told to try Yellow Strawberry. I called up in the morning and was able to get in within 15 minutes. I came in for a trim and ended up donating 9 inches of hair. The salon was professional, clean, and very positive about the donation. Listening to other customers sitting at adjacent chairs it is obvious they are regulars so that speaks a lot to the stylists at this location.

    Laurel did a beautiful haircut and perfect color. She had great suggestions and was patient and listened well to my requests. In addition she went out of her way to accommodate my late arrival because of traffic problem. Incredible customer service by all staff. Brooke did the application of my color for Laurel and was fantastic, everything was done carefully and precisely. I so appreciate all of the staff!

    If you need someone to do a good balayage or even just a trim with some layers, Judit is your girl!! She does the BEST job with everything that she does! Never ever disappoints! Yellow Strawberry in general is such a cute place with a great environment! Everyone is so sweet and ALL of the stylists are so talented! I highly recommend!! Prepared to be pampered! 🙌🏼

    This is a great salon. I have been going here for 15 years. The staff is friendly and courteous. Laurel is a fantastic master stylist who has many years of experience and always professional. She does a great job with all hair types and I always leave looking beautiful.

    Probably the best experience Ive ever had with a hairdresser. I went to Mrs. Lilly for hair extensions. She died my hair to the exact color and length of the extensions. Matching everything to perfection. Im so greatful to have her as my new hairdresser. 🤗

    Everyone is so professional and welcoming from the moment you enter the salon. Laurel is the BEST and I absolutely LOVE my cut! Her assistant gave me the most incredible massage prior to my cut. I almost fell asleep while she washed my hair!

    Been going for a year now to get my hair dyed and cut! Bree is amazing and so down to Earth and her suggestions turn into vivid masterpieces!!     I get my lashes done by Kenzie & they’re perfect every time! I’ve gone to multiple salons in Sarasota for lashes and never have seemed to get what I asked for. All it took was one appointment with Kenzie and she met all of my lash needs. Whether you want something subtle, volume, etc. she does it all. She is very talented!

    Had Judit cut, partial highlights, and blow out my hair today. It was my first time at this salon after being recommended from friends. What a relaxing and seamless experience. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. I walked out of the salon with gorgeous hair. Highly recommend Judit and the salon!

    This was my first time at Yellow Strawberry in many years. They have added an upstairs area for manicures and pedicures. Everything is new and very welcoming including the relaxing massage chairs. Lili was my manicurist and she was very pleasant and did a great job.

    I’ve been going to this salon for over a decade and have yet to have a bad experience. The staff is friendly and my stylist knows my hair and how to cut/style it well. It is refreshing to have the same stylist and options for appointment times. During Covid they made it work and I was grateful to be at a salon that cares about cleaning and appearance.
