What a fantastic experience! I have long enjoyed utilizing local cosmology schools, within the community I live, as I absolutely love supporting the students as they pursue their studies, talents and career path.I found this school to be a wonderful place; well designed, immaculate, conveniently located and accessible!The teacher was very professional, welcoming and knowledgeable. She offered great advice, encouragement, guidance and support to the student who provided my hair service!The student was especially friendly, confident, welcoming, conscientious, dedicated, personable and respectful!I have become a loyal client, and I look forward in great anticipation to my next appointment! GREAT JOB!

My first experience going to the Sarasota location and....I absolutely loved it. Zoe was awesome. Made me feel welcomed and nothing was pushed on me to upsell. Jenny was a very nice and accommodating. I walked in with a red hot mess on my head and between Jenny and Zoe, they had me feeling beautiful when I left. The other ladies that were in there, all spoke and were super friendly. Ill definitely be back! Ill recommend you guys to anyone! A+++

I had a wonderful experience at Paul Mitchell The School. My student Amelia was sweet, smart and her skills were great. I was very happy with my results. The instructor, Jen was very nice and knowledgeable. I was so nervous going to a hair school, but my fears were unfounded. 10/10 experience.

Piper beautifully transformed my hair! She is very welcoming and my hair turned out beyond perfect! Her skill and work ethic are truly incredible! Amelia is also truly amazing and helped to quicken the process by assisting so I could leave early for work! Jess and Jenny are AMAZING! I asked for a calico wolfcut (following the trends, I know) and the result is beyond amazing. They put so much time and effort into it and I cannot thank them enough. Such a lovely experience.i will certainly book a weekly appointment. I recommend you start your hair day with a facial first.i saw masque and massage which appeared professional and left glass like skin.so Im getting one next week before my cut.and dry.i cannot say enough good things about ally and her teachers and classmates.i was late yet greeted with kindness.i wanted her to take a before after picture, she looked at my fb profile which shows my best hair day lol and we looked up Wanda nara my hair dream.so her teacher instructed her gave me price for highlights I told her my budget they cut the number of highlights in half and we proceeded. Im happy with my professional bleached highlights,it came out perfect on super long hair.so the teacher toned my hair for 5 min , instructing every detail to the student and then second long toner was applied by student .after shampoo conditioning two students blow dried my hair in record time. My experience was as good as any salon in the country.

I have had the best to work with Ashley, I think she did a phenomenal job! I had long hair and she was able to cut my hair to a new length and give my hair more volume and make it feel lighter then ever! I requested for bangs and she gave me a snatched look. I get compliments on my new hair style that makes me feel like a new woman 10/10 must try again. I will definitely try booking with her again soon!

This was my first visit for myself. Had brought a lady I was doing caregiving. Everyone made me feel very comfortable and confident that I would be well taken care of and wanted to please me Even though I had a newbie she was great. The instructor was fabulous and Jess the student did quite well. End result I was happy with the styling they listened and the results was fabulous.

Wonderful experience from start to finish! Everyone was very professional and the staff was very knowledgeable about psoriasis (which I have on my scalp). They introduced me to some excellent new products that felt so amazing I had to purchase them for myself. My scalp felt AMAZING, my hair was gorgeous and I had fun along the way. 10/10 GO SEE ALLY 😊

Genevieve gave me the best beach professional cut! She pays attention to detail, asks lots of questions to make sure you’re getting the cut that’s right for you, and loves to share fun facts about the chemistry of hair—so you can make the best choices for your hair. I learned about detox shampoo, the health benefits of blow drying (vs. air drying), and how parts work! Highly recommend!

Sandie did my hair this week. She really listens to what I want to achieve and asks questions to make sure the cut is the way Im hoping for. . I have been at 4 PM throughout the US and this by far the BEST one that Ive ever used. Everyone here is very pleasant and helpful. You really have some great people as students. Thank you. Ill be back to next month. I always use a 2nd level student and have never been disappointed.

I had an appointment with Misha to have my roots touched up. I had not had hair color for eight months so it was an extremely difficult job and I was over joyed with the results Misha produced. She conferred with the instructor first and she did such a good job of blending and dragging down the color throughout the hair shaft that I didnt even need low lights following the touchup, I will definitely be going to Misha again and I think the instruction at the school is exceptional.

Naudia was awesome as my level 2 stylist. I felt completely confident in her consultation and the process of the treatment and cut. My hair was very dry when I went in and I left with beautiful hair. This is a training school, so don’t expect to be in and out in an hour, but definitely worth the time. Every step is supervised and coached and they check in to make sure you love it at every step. I will be following Naudia when she graduates! Also, no card tips, so be sure to bring cash to tip your stylist!!! Can’t beat it for the level of service and quality, and the customer care is top notch.

I have two rows of extensions and regularly go to blow dry bars as it can be very time consuming to style them myself. I went to see Jenny for a wash + blow dry + style after seeing her work on social media and had a wonderful experience. She was so sweet and professional, taking the time even to evaluate my scalp health and explain certain things to me. She curled my hair perfectly and took great care of my extensions. Out of all of my experiences at the various blow dry bars in southwest Florida over the past few months, I felt my hair was styled the best by Jenny. I did watch the other students work as I was there and there was definitely some great talent amongst the others as well. The instructors are always walking around to help out when needed and overall I felt very comfortable there. Highly recommend.

This school is great and very popular very difficult to get an appointment now. I like the person who is doing my hair but she is graduating and leaving in November. The school is very well run by Stephanie and the products are great, ie Paul Mitchell.

This was my second time coming to this Paul Mitchell school. Emilee did a great job at overall grey coverage and her instructor Katelynn did a thorough job of explaining different angles at which you cut. I am an instructor in my field of work, so I appreciated Katelynns approach to her explanations of how she did what she did as she demonstrated my haircut. I will definitely be back.

The Paul Mitchell beauty school in Sarasota, Florida felt like a home away from home for this Pennsylvania snowbird. I was thrilled to find the new school close to where I was staying. Not only were the prices reasonable, but the staff were professional, friendly, and welcoming. When I visited the school, a cosmetology student named Amanda Renee tended to my hair. She is a positive, energetic person who is passionate about hair color (and gave the best head massages while shampooing my hair). My hair turned out looking great, and it was a fun experience to observe all the students working hard to achieve their goals as beauty professionals. I am looking forward to visiting the school again next year.

Went to Paul Mitchell School in Sarasota for a cut and a full set of highlights. The booking process was super easy! Abbe booked me an appointment and explained their pricing. I will be honest I was very hesitant about having a student do my hair, as Im in a wedding and didnt want to hate my new look, but I feel as though everyone deserves a chance to learn. I was greated by Amanda (#5) , she was beyond wonderful she took her time and listened to exactly what I wanted. She consulted with Abbe who explained and reviewed the steps with me and Amanda got to work! My hair has never looked this amazing! It came out exactly how I asked for it too. I normally pay hundreds upon hundereds and walked out paying significantly less so this amazing young woman could learn .Amandas talent is definitely being put to great use. I wish her nothing but the best in her career as a hairstylists. Amanda thank you for making feel beautiful, and thank you to the Paul Mitchell School of Sarasota for giving this young woman all the tools she needs to be successful to serve clients like me! I will definitely be back when I need another hair rescue!

Students Nina and Liv worked on my hair today. Nina cut and began the conditioning treatment. I let her know I have a very sensitive head, and can feel every hair being pulled with the least bit of tension. She then managed to cut and shampoo my hair with zero discomfort. Her instructor Abbey finished with the intensive hydraplex conditioning treatment. Liv did the blowout after I sat under the dryer for the conditioner to do its magic. Everyone took care not to pull any of my hair, and I truly appreciated it. My only negative criticisms (which I shared with the students and the instructor) are that I believe the overhead lights are very unpleasant. When I return, I will definitely be wearing sunglasses inside to cope with the excessive brightness. I also thought the very loud club music was an awful distraction and completely unnecessary in a salon environment. It was playing at an 8 most of the time, and a level 3 would be more tolerable (although silence was the best of all) They did drop the volume for me, but I imagine the majority of customers who visit a salon want a relaxing peaceful environment, and this music was not conducive to that at all. I am not removing any stars for this, but hope this feedback is given strong consideration. I am not afraid to speak up, but I imagine their are many who dont want to rock the boat even as they are getting a massive headache from the unwelcome noise level. Nonetheless I truly enjoyed interacting with the students and instructor, and look forward to future hair care there. I bought a hair detangling mist there too. My hair looks and feels better than it has in years. I have very long hair and I swim in both chlorinated pools and the ocean, so it had become unmanageable. What a treat to get my mop back on the road to recovery!
