The BEST hair salon EVER.Esp when I used to work there.Back in 2020.Its full circle now.Because, my hair is being cut.By a woman that I used to work with.Plus, its down the street from where I live.Its definitely a win..win for me.!!!!!YAY!!!!!

I am terrible at hair maintenance. It had been almost two years since I had my hair cut and professionally colored (I know .. the horror!) I probably would have let it go another six months, but I’m starting a new job so the hot mess look doesn’t fit the dress code 🤣I went to Alpha & Omega on a recommendation. I booked my appointment online so I could easily find a day/time that fit my schedule (I LOVE this feature). They quickly responded to my appointment request and followed up with a text message when there was a question (a huge plus, I don’t have time to chat on the phone most days - a 2 second text is greatly appreciated).They have ample parking (huge bonus). I was greeted at the door by the new owner and I met Mary the stylist. The inside is tastefully decorated and clean. Nothing over the top like some salons (I personally don’t need all the “fluff” that some salons offer, I want to get in and get out with a quality cut/color).We all had a lovely conversation. It was super relaxed and the time flew by while Mary did her magic on my hair. I’m happy with the cut and color and cut/color rate is super reasonable!

Mary did an amazing job on my hair!!! I came in with very damaged hair. It was bleached, with dark roots and an orange/honey color between the roots and bleached hair. She was able to get my hair back to its original color with highlights. After she cut it, my hair looked healthy and natural. I just love it! I cant say enough good about Marys skills. Try her and you will not be disappointed.The new owners have really freshened up the atmosphere with modern renovations. It’s always clean and everyone is very friendly. I really like the text/email reminders that are sent for my appointments, and I heard that we will soon be able to book our own appointments.In addition to hair, other services are facials, nails, and waxing. I have been going to this salon for at least a year - if not longer - I get my nails done (Yen) and my hair (Mary) - along with my daughters - and this salon is fantastic. Darrell is always a happy smiling face to greet you when you arrive. And its like a family atmosphere. I would recommend this salon every day. Thanks for the great service, great product and being so personable.

I had such a wonderful time yesterday getting my hair cut and highlighted for the first time since the start of COVID!At 64 years old, my already thin, baby fine hair has gotten even thinner this past year as a result of a recent health condition. I was looking for a hairdresser that could work with my thin hair and found a suggestion on NextDoor to try Mary at Alpha & Omega Salon. I’m so glad I decided to give it a shot. My hairdresser, Mary, made me feel so comfortable and she did a wonderful job.The owner of the salon, Darrell, was great, too. He immediately made me feel at home and we chatted throughout my appointment.By the time I left, I knew I had found my new salon home. I couldn’t stop talking about them to my husband, and I’ve already recommended them to a friend my age who has also been looking for a new hairdresser.

I have been going to Alpha & Omega for about 20 years now. The shop is beautiful, the new owner and staff couldnt be more friendly. My hairdresser, Mary is the only hairdresser I will allow to cut my hair. She is absolutely the best beautician around the St. Petersburg area.
