    I LOVEEEEE JAI AND HER SHOP. I use to come to the shop when i was a little girl now i’m bringing my daughter her to get her hair done.Jai has new employees and their services are top tier FAST and affordable. My sister and daughter got an appointment for back to school and we’re done in no time ! everything i asked Jai to do she did and their hair looks amazing and most of all they love it.The parts are neat and precise!!! I came and saw these bad reviews please don’t believe them ! she takes good care of her clients . and i Garuntee you get what you ask for . my daughter does cheer and she will be back to get a touch up ! no pulling of her edges or anything they took good care of my baby she is only 7 and she had no complaints had her ipad had wifi and all !!! 10/10 recommend!!! oh and Jai answers the phone or calls you back as soon as she can she is great with communication!!!!

    Jai has moved to a new location on Palm River and 78th Street next to Fresco. This new place is awesome braids, nails and lashes all in one place. Jai has been doing my hair for over 10 years not once have I been unhappy with my hair great service, I’m always pleased.

    By far the BEST customer service I have ever had when getting my hair done and doing anything. One, I called them last minute and they still opened an appointment for me on my way to this appointment my car broke and the owner helped me with transportation and booking another time to get my hair done. This lady drove out her way to help me and once I got my hair done it was super fast literally less than 3 hours (two people were in my head). When my hair was done I walked across the street to a store and while I was in the store it starting pouring. I was just gonna run for it but when I walked outside there was the lady that braided my hair honking to take me back to the shop. That paragraph was just about the customer service. My hair looks so good !! I have fine hair not the thick not that course but you would know that because my braids are very full and extremely neat! My edges are gripped and it doesn’t hurt. I highly recommend this place worth the money, nice atmosphere, good people!!

    I have had my hair braided by Jai and her staff on two occasions. I was extremely happy with the way my hair looked. The styles were very attractive and her price scale was comparable to others in the area! I received numerous compliments on my hair. One of the most important things that I appreciated was my hair did not fall out anywhere, especially around the edges. In fact my hair really grew! Her staff was professional and friendly and the shop was clean. I would highly recommend her!

    Easy schedule appointment. They did very tight braids in my daughters puertican thick curly hair. The braids matched picture we brought with us. My teen daughter and I loved the atmosphere and felt like home and relaxed. Everyone nice and friendly. Its almost a week with the braids and they are still tight and barely any fray. She receives compliments from strangers at mall and friends on the braids.We will get it again and bring blue extensions for fun.We had a horrible experience at a different salon, so I really wanted to let people know how great this place is.

    I have been going to the shop for 2 years now to get twist and also bringing my 6 year old daughter to get her hair done when she wants twist. Unfortunately my job requires me to travel a lot, so I am unable to book ahead to get my hair braided. But every time I call with extremely short notice they make sure they are available and I have never had an issue with them doing my hair. I am always pleased. They are also very fast pace and I love the fact that when they start my hair they do not stop to eat, or stay on there phone. They are very considerate of my time. The majority of my cousins also use there services.

    I got box braids today all the way to my back and they are beautiful, this was my first time at Jais shop and my experience was awesome. She is friendly and her staff are just as friendly they made feel welcome from the minute I met them. Her shop was very clean and the whole atmosphere was very polite and professional, I got exactly the style I wanted and my head doesnt hurt, I was quoted a price over the phone and when I got to the shop it was the same price. These ladies are very talented and fast at what they do, they have a permanent customer I reccomend if you want professional and fair price braiders hands down these ladies are the real deal.

    I love Jais Hair braiding. I have been here twice and was satisfied both times. Only BAD thing is they lied to me about the price. They told me 40 over the phone for two braids then when I got there it went to 60. They should not be dishonest with their customers as that makes people not want to come back. Other than that they do a good job.

    I have been getting my braids done at JAI AFRICAN BRAID SALON for the last 2 years. I have had micros for the past 15 years . Their SALON is the best SALON that I have used in the Tampa area. They are actually located near Brandon so I dont have to drive to Tampa to get my hair done I came in to get my micro braids done and they were complete in Less than 5 hours . thats something that I have never had done atany other salon. .My hair looked perfect. I always get complements on how beautiful my hair looks even after 2 months. They are professional , their SALON is clean. and they listen and fulfill your request regarding Your preferred style. your hair. . I highly recommend the salon and I know you will love it too .

    I love it and I will be back. I showed Zena(hopefully I didn’t spell it wrong) the hairstyle that I wanted and she perfected! She wasnt heavy handed nor rough with my hair. I love the cultural atmosphere in the shop as well. Thank you and I will be booking for my next braided style!!!!

    Ive been coming to this place for awhile and have never had a problem. The young lady that does my hair always does a great job. Its funny, when I wasnt coming as often, Jai has text to check on me. Until my daughter got sister locs, Jai did her hair as well. My only complaint is that some do talk a lot and loud, but thats ok because I keep headphones in my ears to block that out.

    I went in today to originally get flat twist, and then changed my mind and wanted braids that go into a ponytail. The end result is me absolutely loving my hair!!!!!! It was quick, and not too painful. Thank you ladies, I look forward to seeing you again you have earned another customer.

    They are awesome. I still cant believe how fast they braided my daughters hair. I was expecting the process to take 8 -10 hours but she was done in 4. The fastest hair braiding experience ever!!!

    The experience is always friendly I like how they interact with the clientele and make sure to listen to what you want and if not they will ask to see a picture to make sure they provide you with the best service and style that you want and the prices and reasonable. I like that once they start on your head its nonstop until they finish..they are the only shop that braids my hair Im satisfied customer come in and get JAMMED by one of the Best in the braiding business🙌🏼

    Great experience! Would definitely recommend that anyone looking for a quality braid shop with polite employees visit one of Jais shops. There is another shop in the Riverview Center shopping plaza Timas African Hair Braiding! They did an awesome job for both me and my daughter!

    I wanted 2 cornrows with extensions! Completely satisfied with the outcome. The braids were super neat and didnt pull at the scalp. It was affordable, plus the staff was friendly.
