There were no openings available there, but a quick check at another nearby Advanced Dermatology office on Office Park Drive got me an appointment in two hours!Nurse Practitioner Tiffany McMurray diagnosed my problem and took care of it on the spot. She took time to explain everything to me and answer all my questions. I realize that I was lucky to get an appointment on such short notice and was pleased to find such great customer service at the front desk and such quality medical care too!This team has the right folks in the right positions to provide a great experience.

    My husband and I just moved here and he needed to see someone for his yearly skin check. He said that the staff and PA who he saw were all very good and the PA especially was very detail-oriented (which is particularly good when it comes to skin issues). She recommended a specific treatment and follow up and we are grateful to her for being so fastidious. Based on this appointment, my husband gives Advanced Dermatology a 5 star rating with no hesitation.

    I love all of the staff here. I have been a patient for a number of years, and they have always wonderful to work with. The front desk staff are amazing and always have a smile to greet you as you come in. Tiffany is the BEST!!! And the nurses are always awesome.     So happy that I found this practice. I was very pleased with my first visit to Advanced Dermatology. Office staff was pleasant and helpful. I arrived 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork and was called back a little before my appointment time. Tatayana and her assistant were awesome! Listened to and addressed all of my concerns and did a thorough screening. Everything was explained to me as it was performed. I’m now waiting on biopsy results. I’m confident that I will be well taken care of if further treatment is needed.

    Dr Bethea does a thorough examination looking for anything that might be of a concern . He isnt quick to freeze off something that doesnt need to be. The front desk could be a little more friendly.

    March 2024 was my first visit with Dr Bethea. I had a bump on my scalp that was not going away after several months and I was able to schedule an appointment within 2 weeks of calling.Upon arrival I was handed a tablet to enter my medical history and as I was about to finish the last 2 questions my name was called. A very prompt and efficient office process.Dr Bethea was very thorough in performing a visual scan of my face, head and legs (areas I requested) for any skin damage from sun exposure prior to inspecting the bump.He explained what he was going to do and during the entire procedure he continued to explain what he was about to do prior to doing it. The discomfort was minimal and in a very short time the procedure was complete and a bandage was applied.While I am very careful with sun exposure I plan on visiting Dr. Bethea annually to ensure that there are no unexpected changes that could lead to skin cancer. I was very impressed with Dr. Betheas diagnostic and surgical skills as well as his approach to patient care.

    Totally appreciated the friendliness of the whole staff. The girl who took vitals and notes was extremely understanding. She kindly helped me throughout the entire new patient process as I had forgotten to bring the new patient paperwork. I was impressed with her stellar disposition. Dr Bethea explained very thoroughly and patiently waited for me to translate and explain between the patient and mother.

    This was my first time here as I was concered about a mark on my ear that has started to form. The front desk seemed pleasant as the check out lady. The doctor was great as he answered all my questions just that the MA I believe she was an MA her name is Jenna she is the one that brought me back to the room to get ready and was in there with the provider and I. She gave me slight attitude when telling me to get dressed and rolled her eyes as she walked away. And then after the provider was finished with me I asked her about where my husband was and she looked confused as he was also being seen but by the NP. After she told me she seemed upset when I even asked her about my husband as it was an interference with her life. But she also huffed and puffed and she stated whatever under her breath as she walked away. It makes me feel uncomfortable to come back. Not sure if it was a bad day or just how she is but it was not a good first impression on her end.

    The patient waiting room ceiling has many tiles that are ready to fall off- not very welcoming!One of the staff asked my husband and I if we both had appointments when he came into the room with me when my name was called.     I was taken to the surgery area (MOHS) shortly after checking in. After the surgery, I had to wait about 45 minutes for the tissue evaluation before being called in to be sutured up. That process went well and the bandage came off the next day with no leakage - a tight suture job.

    It was my first appointment with this practice and dermatologist Tiffany McMurray. The intake process was easy with the computerized pad for check in. The waiting area was in a socially distance setup. Ashleigh, the PA, was very businesslike and efficient, but friendly too. Ms. McMurray gave me a thorough examination from head to toe. She counseled me on other things to look for like Melanoma in the eyes. I will gave that good advice to my new ophthalmologist. I left this practice feeling like my life matters to all these people.     I have to get skin checks every 6 months (I had melanoma at age 23) and I see tiffany mcmurray (arnp). She is amazing. I have to get a lot of biopsies, but I am totally ok with being better safe than sorry. She always helps to find medications for acne that are cost effective (my insurance doesnt cover acne meds) and shes personable and caring. Her medical assistant is great as well. The whole staff is always nice and I hear them joking and laughing with each other. I work in a doctors office and know its not always easy. Its nice and seems like everyone is happy to be there!Edit: a second melanoma was found in 2017, So now I go back every 4 months. Always enjoyable to go here, even if its not for the most pleasant reason- wear sunscreen! 😜

    Dr. Schultze and Dr. Aponte were professional and demonstrated expertise in dermatology procedures. Dr. Aponte has the best bedside manner. The support staff was also professional and efficient. The only reason I rated a 4 was because I waited 2 hours before my procedure started and that waiting period made me a little anxious. Perhaps, a call system to your home 1/2 hour before your expected procedure would alleviate this situation.

A biopsy was taken while I was there, and I was given instructions to care for the site. Fortunately, I did not need further treatment.     I had skin tags removed with a needle to numb them then biopsied. Also skin tags. I know other people who have had them sprayed (kind of froze them) then removed them. My way was much more painful. Still waiting on biopsy results. Very nice staff, polite and professional but a bit quick.
