    My nail tech was Nhu and she is fantastic! I come here on a regular basis for both manicures and pedicures! They always take good care of my mom and I! I have sensitive skin and I have never had an issue with their products! I’ve been working really hard on growing my natural nails and Mrs. Nhu has me on a program that is healthier than dip nails or acrylics! She is amazing! This time I wanted something special for Valentine’s Day and I gave her free rein! She did fantastic- photos are attached!

    This is my first time going to Velvet Nail Bar for my moms hard gel appointment and so far Ive been very pleased with their quality of work. Yesterday her tech was tingting and shes super amazing! Very personable, nice and funny too. Shes very easy to talk to and listened to my needs super professional.     I wish I could remember the guys name but he was amazing! Overall best experience. Loved the salon the environment and everything. I will forever come back! This was my first time at this salon. I showed him a photo and he did his absolute best to match it. An he did it! You don’t usually get this out of a nail tech. He was awesome.     Have gone here a couple times and have loved them each time! Tonight I had Rose who was excited to do a winter theme I wanted and worked with me to get the best outcome! She made suggestions and listened to my preferences and we made the perfect nails! Everyone there is extremely nice (especially Sage at the front desk who helped with my anxiety the first few times I was there) and it’s now my go to place when I wanna get my nails done! The picture doesn’t do it justice!

    First time getting a dip powder set and I love it! This is my second time going to Velvet Nail Bar and so far Ive been very pleased with their quality of work. Yesterday my tech was Hannah and shes AMAZING! Very personable, nice and funny too. Shes very easy to talk to and listened to my needs. She suggested trying dip powder and also a different nail shape. I always get square and was afraid another shape wouldnt look right on me. So glad I listened to her. She was gentle and very detailed too. Loving my nails! Cant wait for my next visit. See you soon Hannah! ❤️

    I’ve been going to Velvet for a while now. For pedicures and occasional manicures. The salon is usually busy with appointments because of how professional they are. It’s so spacious and clean, and the staff give everyone quality service as if they’re the only ones there.Whenever I would try random salons with friends, it was always up in the air of whether we’d have a good visit. I’m so thankful I found this Velvet Nail Bar so I can feel confident I will get amazing service no matter which nail tech.At my last visit, Phil gave me an amazing pedicure! The massage alone was worth the money. He was friendly and did a great job!I’ve also had Chao in the past (I hope I’m remembering her name correctly). But she took the utmost care of me. She did my wedding nails last year, which I loved! Then during my pregnancy, she was so sweet always making sure everything felt okay.Everyone is always friendly and will make sure you’re happy. They’ll even offer you a beverage while getting your service done. All in all, if you’re wanting a consistent nail salon to feel confident about getting good services, Velvet nail bar is the place to go.

    Lily was absolutely amazing! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she delivered! I love the virtual check in, being greeted right away, and the free drink (the lemonade is delicious). I wish I wouldve been asked about one of their scrub options or other types of manicures but its partially my fault for not saying in advance. Im glad I was able to sit next to my friend the whole time. Definitely would recommend

    I had Tammy for a pedicure and the experience was so lovely. She took her time and was so meticulous around my cuticles. Lisa did my manicure and she was just as detailed. She nailed my nail shape and didn’t get the polish all over my skin so it will grow out nicely.The only thing that was off putting was during my pedicure a girl beside me was on FaceTime talking loud the entire time. I am a mom of 2, when I go to the nail salon I want peace.

    Got a full set with gel here for Christmas and they did an amazing job. It was probably the best acrylic set I have ever gotten! The bartender was also extremely sweet.

    I’ve been coming to this salon for two years. They are always clean and fantastic. I have used different artists but this set was Moon. She always does such a great job. Very thorough and detail oriented.

    Update: I went in today talked to them and they agreed and fixed it free of charge :)I came in as a walk in for a gel x removal and a dip pedicure. This was so disappointing to see how uneven and the quality of my nails. I cannot get the dip off my skin and the top coat polish has begun to peel (2 hours after I left).

    Lupe is honestly so amazing! She is so patient, meticulous, cleanly and personable. She is passionate about her job and it shows.     I’ve been coming to Velvet Nail Bar for 5 years and I’m glad to say that I always leave pretty pleased.Two years ago I forgot my gold bracelet on the table and when I called three days later they told me they had it in a drawer for me.They are honest and dedicated people.Not to mention every single detail of the place it’s done with so much thought behind it. It feels like a Luxe Spa!I just went a few days ago and they’ve done a few more updates. They have a host who specifically caters to you and goes around serving drinks and brings you anything you need. They also have a variety of nice packages at decent prices.Moreover, I like the fact that they customize my experience to my liking and I can choose a male tech to do my pedicures and massages. I love my foot rub and chrome toes and it’s worth mentioning that Tree (my tech) did a great job! We left happy and relaxed.

    I got ombré dip powder nails with Moon, and she was THE BEST!!! She absolutely exceeded my expectations, and double checked to make sure I loved my nails before moving forward.     I have been coming to Velvet Nail Bar in Oviedo for years. This place, hands done, is the best around. I am always greeted politely. I can always walk in and have never been turned away. The facility is always clean. Lighting, music, and TVS are always consistent and relaxing. Tonight, Tony gave me the best pedicure and massage! I requested relax and unwine. The leg and foot massage was the best I have ever had. I asked for a 10 minute neck and shoulder massage after and again it was 10 out of 10. Ask for Tony for your pedicure and foot massage. If he isnt there or is busy, everyone there is great too. Thank you Velvet for exceeding my expectations.

    I had just gotten my nails done at another place and it was nothing like I wanted, I called and they were more than happy and able to make the exception and fix my nails for me.     I had the best time at this nail salon! I got the Long Island Green tea for $65 (without gel). My nail tech gave me the BEST foot and neck/shoulder massage for a very decent amount of time. You really get what you paid for. I also got a foot scrub, mask, and hot stone massage within 60-65 mins. I ended up tipping her $15 (22%) because of how great she was. She took her time and made my toes look perfect for my birthday tomorrow. This all happened an hour before they closed so I was very grateful! This place is worth the money.

    I always come for Ryan and Phil to do my toes because they do so amazing!!! Ryan did my toes today and they came out great, his reflexology massages could literally put me to sleep. He always takes his time, there’s never a rush which I loveee since I come here to treat myself and relax on a day off from work.     10 out of 10 experience! Tony was the best he really took his time on the foot massage and made sure that my toes looked beautiful. I hadnt had a pedicure in almost 2 years and I was treated out on Mothers Day to a pedicure. I could not have asked for a better experience! I will definitely be back

    KATIE has the BEST shape work and design style I’ve ever experienced. I’ve been getting my nails done for probably around 12 years, and Katie is the only person to acknowledge that each hand is unique so the acrylic nail sizing wouldn’t be the same on each hand just because it’s the same finger. I’ve gone to her two times now and I will never go to another nail tech (no offense everyone is awesome but Katie is my girl) she is just the BEST!

    The Mojito pedicure with Tiffany was amazing! But my eyebrow wax was not good. The wax wasn’t liquid (cold/cooled) and it pulled on my skin when spread. When I got home I saw that many hairs were missed. Not happy with that part of my first visit.

    Wow wow wow! BEST. Pedicure I’ve had in my 32 years of life! Phil was AMAZING ! He was thorough and removed two ingrown toenails and I didn’t even feel it!     I had my first ever pedicure here today. What an incredible experience. The entire facility was very clean. There were several stations where other patrons were enjoying a similar experience as I. A gentleman walked over and asked if I would like a drink. Well yes I would. I said. The offerings were beer, wine, soda, water as well as other drink options. The lady who performed the service was extremely gentle and thorough. She soaked my feet, trimmed my nails and massaged my feet and legs. She soaked my feet in a warm bluish/ purple liquid in individual plastic bags. She used hot towels, lotions and heated rocks to rub my legs. The entire process took at least an hour. Maybe longer. The whole time I was sitting in a wonderful massage chair that helped melt away the stresses of my world. I will definitely be back to enjoy this little luxury very soon. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who hasn’t done this before. It is a very enjoyable and relaxing experience.

    Ivy is amazing she took care of me the entire time. She did my nails full set, pedicure, and eyebrows!!! She was super upfront with the prices and made sure I was ok and happy with everything.     (edit below)Listen I loved this place. So much! Always got amazing nails there. But recently I went for a fill on my acrylics and within a week they peeled. I have a toddler and no one to watch him so couldn’t go back until 11 days later and they did do amazing still giving me a discount to fill. But when I got that fill he did HORRIBLY. I had to get home to my baby and so I paid and left. Haven’t had childcare since, it’s been about idk like almost a week and a half and i am going back tomorrow or the next day but I doubt I will get another discount. It looks horrendous. I will post pics of currently but keep in mind my nails grow fast.EDIT: I went back and they fixed my nails to near perfection. Everyone makes mistakes as we are human but they were so nice to get them done better for me! New photos added of the good nails.

    This is for all the men who never had a pedicure. First time EVER getting a pedicure. My daughter has been telling me that I needed one so I had an excuse to go with her. I also figured I cant be seen on a cruise with Amazon tribesmen jacked up feet. LOL All I can say is my feet look like a young mans again!Being in the US Army for 20 years and a combat Infantryman we only cared about blisters. Years ago I was watching an interview with Ochocinco and he said he goes once a week to get a manicure and pedicure because as a receiver he had to take care of his hands and feet. So men lets start looking good by taking care of your hands and feet!!!I have severe sciatica that runs down to the bottom of my right foot and my left leg is week from a spinal surgery. Ann took good care of me! She turned on the messager and a young lady brought me a glass of Merlot!!!Ladies, I didnt know about your secret when you said you were going to get your nails done! Velvet Nail Bar is the little secret they kept. Outstanding service and care.To be honest I cant compare this nail salon to any other since it was the first time going to one, but my daughter about near demanded we go to Velvet. And men, if you ask me Ill take you so we feel comfortable. BTW, I was the only man in there today but no one judged me. Im going to make it a routine now, even if its by myself.

    I can’t say enough about how amazing my nail artist, Nhu is! I started seeing her last year and everytime I come in it is a great experience. Her and I chat through my whole appointment and she even helps me decide what color gel to do when I am being indecisive! Today I came in after a long time of not having my nails done and Nhu took her time and made sure I left with a perfect gel manicure and regular polish pedicure! I have a history of foot surgery and in-grown toe nails so I typically avoid getting pedicures, but I decided to do one today and Nhu did not disappoint! Not only did she cut out all of my ingrowns, but she was also very honest with me about needing to maintain them at least once a month with a pedicure to feel less of the pain with all the nail build up. She was also honest in that my toe nails are too fragile to handle gel polish right now, and that I should stick to regular polish or none at all. I will continue to come see her and am now looking forward to my monthly pedicures!

    I was absolutely blown away by how attentive, detailed, and kind the staff was here. Not only did they have patience with me as I explored the colors for some time before deciding on my favorite French manicure color, they take excellent care of you while you are in their beautiful place. From the well decorated, incredibly clean facility, to the bar offering refreshments while you wait as well as during your services, it was worth every penny! And conveniently located was a huge plus too! Any of you looking for the wow factor to be included in those nail prices I highly suggest stopping in here and giving them a try! He talked me into the GelX nails with the cat eye polish and I’m so glad he did. My nails have never lasted so long. I went back for a fill three weeks later and had ZERO LIFT. I’ve been getting full sets for over twenty years and that has never happened. A+++! And the cateye polish was a hit on my cruise. Very demure. Very cutesy. ☺️😉

    For most part always have pleasant experience and a satisfied customer. However what I do not like and evidently they recently started charging 3% to use credit card transactions and noticed during my last visit. The consumer should not have to pay a fee to use credit cards when the business is accepting credit cards as a form of payment whilst that’s a fee between merchant services and business. That’s on top of having to leave a tip to the tech! I don’t carry cash on me and should not have bare the burden to go to an ATM to take cash out. I would rate a 5 but I am not happy w additional fees

The prices were decent, lower than I normally pay.I would try here again, and a good alternative for if I can’t get in with my typical stylist on short notice.

    I am so happy with my set. Ivy did an amazing job! She was so sweet. And pays very close attention to detail. I asked for a design and she made sure i knew how much everything was going to be before she started. Most places I’ve been to don’t do this so i thought this was great.     Ivy did my pedicure this time. The Gold pedicure. This was by far my favorite pedicure appointment. I am sensitive to too much heat and heavy pressure, and as this pedicure includes soaking, massage, hot stones, wax and hot towels, I simply asked that it be a little ‘less’ so for me.
