    I recently got my hair cut short, and I couldnt be happier! The stylist was incredibly skilled, taking the time to understand exactly what I wanted. The cut is fresh, stylish, and perfect for my face shape. Ive received so many compliments already! The atmosphere was relaxing, making the experience even better.     Ive had Gustavo do my hair for over 6 years now and hes definitely amazing at what he does. I always leave satisfied w😊ith my hair. 😌 Along with the people who I have recommended with him, they always leave very happy also. Gustavo has brought me from being blond with highlights all the way to blue black but always making sure my hair is in healthy conditions.

    I’m giving it five stars for the consultation my daughter just had. Guy, her stylist is legit and you can tell he knows hair color very well. No pressure to book. He even said consult with others.. just wants the client happy in the end:) Will post an update once she has had the work done.

    I have had Gustavo doing my hair for years so when he switched chairs to work at this salon I of course followed him. I drive 45 minutes to have him cut my hair and it is well worth it. The new salon is very chic and much bigger than I thought it was. Super happy with my cut.

    I feel very fortunate to have been referred, by a friend, to Guy at Xander Blue! I reached out to him by text and almost immediately he texted me back with appointment options.My visit with Guy was amazing. Not only does he listen to your thoughts and concerns, but he takes his time assessing your style and features and presents to you what he, as the professional, feels are great options. Then, you decide together how to move forward.There was no pressure. I got the sense that he is really proud of the work he does, and he should be. He is an artist.The salon was calm and comfortable.     We were only in town for a day and were very lucky to find that Guy could accommodate an appointment for my wife. He did an absolutely stunning color and cut.     Xander Blue is an exceptional salon. Very friendly and professional people with a clean and fun atmosphere. Always offering drinks from water to sodas to wine. Lisa Carlson is the absolute best!!! I moved to Virginia for work, and over the course of 4 years, I made the 15 hr drive with me and my daughter every 6 months just so we could continue to get our hair cut and sometimes colored by Lisa Carlson. That is saying something. She is truly amazing!!!

    I had an appointment with Guy and not only did he do an amazing job, but he was so sweet and fun! He asked questions to make sure I got exactly what I wanted, taught me ways to replicate at home and gave me the best haircut Ive ever received. Hes a lovely person and an amazing stylist.     I was able to get into the salon in a couple of hours. Guy reached out to me almost immediately after calling the salon. He was fantastic, he listened to what I wanted to do and did just that! He was able to make some great suggestions about my hair and what to do to make it look like what I wanted. He also didnt push any products on me. He did suggest things that I could do to help my hair but never said that I HAD to get a salon product for it. Really was super welcoming and someone that I will be going back to.

    I found a great stylist and pleased with the results. I am a new client and found that Guy from Xander Blue Salon 8 is exactly the person I will be coming back to style me. Prompt and professional, Guy used his knowledge of face shape and expertise in hair type to assist me in coming up with the right cut and style. A genuine follow up notification was made the day after my haircut. This is exactly the level of service I appreciate. Im officially a Xander Blue client with Guy as my stylist.

    I met Guy for the first time yesterday and im so happy i did. I got curtain bangs for the first time and trimmed up my split ends. Guy is super funny with his self professed bad jokes, a very good listener, and i felt so comfortable throughout the entire process. He even sent a follow up text the next day which no other stylist has ever done for me, i truly feel like he cares and values the stylist/client relationship. Hes a 10/10 guy and Id recommend him to anyone looking to feel beautiful with their hair. :)

    I had an appointment with Guy to have my curtain bangs cut and layers added. Guy was very thoughtful and precise, making sure I was 100% satisfied with each step of the process.     I recently had the American Wave treatment at Xander Blue and wow what a difference! My hair isnt as frizzy and my curls are much better defined. The staff is always friendly and you can tell they are very passionate about their craft! I have never had a consultation like I had at Xander Blue and it made me realize how much other salons were missing about me, my hair and my needs. I have recommended them to my family and friends and will continue to recommend them because they truly do an amazing job!

    I am in love with my new hair! Guy was amazing. He first gave me a consultation, showing me various hair colors and walking me through the process. He took his time perfecting my hair, and even gave me great pointers on how best to style my hair and make it look it’s very best. Throughout the process, he made me feel comfortable, and offered coffee and water. He is an amazing colorist/stylist, and has a great personality to boot. Going from ice blonde, to dark Auburn/chocolate brown is a big change, but I couldn’t be happier. I received so many compliments from coworkers, friends, and even my son.     The BEST stylist I have EVER had is there!!! Just request Jonathon and youll never have to try and find that perfect stylist again!The salon itself is TOP NOTCH: Absolutely beautiful, up to date and clean! The entire staff there seem WONDERFUL & EXTREMELY knowledgeable.     I really loved my experience here. Ive only ever been to hair Cuttery and this was such a different experience. I came in with a badly cut pixie style and Miguel fixed up my hair and I feel so much more confident. Its been a couple days and I still cant get over how much better my hair looks and I dont even have to style it in the morning. Miguel explained what he was doing and why he was doing it to relieve hair cut anxiety which I also really appreciated. 10/10 I will only be coming here from now on.

    Xander Blue was amazing! As soon as you walk in they are super friendly. They offer you water, tea or coffee to make sure you are comfortable. It is a very clean and nice place.     Elizabeth is the best, she has been dying and styling my hair for the last 5 years and I haven’t gone to anybody else! She is very thoughtful and communicates about what her ideas are and doesn’t rush through anything and there’s great conversation. If you want somebody who is passionate about what they do and 100% professional, she’s your girl. The salon is very nice, I’m always offered coffee or water at the start. They also have a variety of tazo tea and plenty of places around to grab a bite afterwards. Great location and service provided.

    INCREDIBLE!!! If I could give MORE STARS they would be checked. Guy did an amazing haircut for me. First time with him. He was TOTALLY focused on the details of the cut and what would look best for me asking about my lifestyle, preferences, and informing me what he wanted to do before he did it. WOW! In addition, he gave instructions of how to style my hair. How many times have you wondered how to pull off the look you just bought and dont quite get it? Not with Guy!     I used Xander Blue for my wedding hair and makeup. We had a small ceremony with our immediate family, and we did not have any bridesmaids or groomsmen. That said, it is nearly impossible to find someone who will come to your hotel to do only bridal hair and makeup without sacrificing a kidney. I reached out to several places and a lot had minimum requirements, so I was getting discouraged and then I thought...well have a car there, why dont I try local salons? I only wanted a simple updo, and if push came to shove I could do my own makeup. Xander Blue had excellent reviews and they happened to be the first place I called. I was put in touch with Lisa Lefferts and after one phone conversation, I knew I had found my fairy godmother. This woman is amazing. We scheduled a trial (at the salon) and she did my hair exactly as I had envisioned, plus she did my makeup. She charged me next to nothing, and had no problem coming to my hotel room the morning of...she said it was practically along her way to work and she didnt want me to have to worry about traveling to her. We kept in touch (I am from RI and got married in Orlando) and she showed up bright and early on my wedding day with a contagious happiness that set me right at ease. We had coffee and chatted while she did my hair (it was even more gorgeous than the first time!), and then she helped me with my makeup. I am forever indebted to this woman for saving me so much stress, money, and time. She made me feel more beautiful than I ever thought possible. If you need a hair treatment, a makeup application, or even just a warm conversation with a wonderful soul, please go pay Lisa a visit. Youll be glad you did.

    Words cannot describe how happy I was after I left this salon today. I moved to Florida about 3 days ago from Chicago and I had just gotten my hair done before I left. Long story short I was in DESPERATE need of getting my color fixed. I called the salon and the receptionist could not have been more understanding of my situation. Lisa was the stylist who fixed my color and I honestly could not be more happy with the outcome. I went in with what looked like months of outgrowth from my roots and she got me back to my normal blonde color. The atmosphere was amazing and I will definitely keep coming back to Lisa for my color!

    Went there for the first time at random and got Guy. I’ve always wanted but never expected to just start with a conversation about how to get what I want with my hair. I’m used to just being asked what they’re supposed to do but not Guy, he took the time to go over every detail.     I have been a client of Miguel’s for almost four years. When your enter the salon, you are greeted by a friendly receptionist who offers you a beverage (cold, hot, wine :).     LOVE Xander Blue Salon! I have been going here for over three years and will continue to exclusively go to this salon as long as I live in central Florida. My stylist Bennet is top notch, and I have full confidence in the rest of his team as well. He takes time to listen to the look Im after, and he studies my hair to help me make the best decision. Ive noticed other stylists take the same care in their consultations as well. They also offer a wide variety of products and walk you through what works for the look you want. (Plus they have the best and largest selection of OPI nail polish around... Much better than Ulta or Target.) Its well worth the near hour drive it takes me to get there from my home. I always look forward to my next appointment!

    I was very happy with my experience at Xander. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly, I got offered refreshment drinks upon entry. I also appreciate how the salon takes all the necessary measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 - all chairs get sanitized after each use, and everyone wears a mask at all times. I will be definitely back!
