    You know those first appointment jitters that you have when you wonder if youre going to walk out with just a haircut and you go home to wash your hair and restyle it?You wont get that here. At all.First, its an Aveda Salon. The products alone are worth their weight in gold; however, since reaching my mature age, I have experienced the dreaded hair thinning. When I called to schedule an appointment, I was VERY specific in asking for a stylist with experience in fine and thinning hair.I was blessed to be paired with Sydney! We not only clicked immediately (even though Im old enough to be her momma), but she took her time with me. After asking me numerous questions about lifestyle, what I wanted out of my hair, and whatnot, she walked me through what she felt would be the best hairstyle to fit my lifestyle.Thank you, Sydney, for doing a phenomenal job in helping this Nana feel beautiful and confident again. 💖

    Rachel Bassett gave me the BEST shampoo and style I’ve ever had in my life. I’m retired from the cosmetology industry- so I have had a lot of blow outs in my lifetime… this superseded all my expectations. I’m going to book monthly, if not weekly blowouts with her going forward. So professional. Such great customer service. 12 out of 10 experience!

    Everyone at Face the Day is always so nice and sweet. Mika specifically always does such a great job waxing brows and really goes out of her way to make it a wonderful experience. I look forward to seeing her for eyebrows as well as facials and other great services she has to offer!

    Both my daughter and I went to get facials today and Mika worked on both of us back-to-back (my daughter is in elementary school). Mika was the absolute sweetest and she is amazing at what she does. She is incredibly knowledgeable and takes her time explaining things (especially with my daughter). You will walk out feeling completely rejuvenated. Ive already booked another service with her!!

    I usually dont do reviews but I feel the need to, my last two facials with Mika have been fabulous. Her technique is something everyone needs to experience. She goes above and beyond to strive for perfection. Coming from Chicago and having many facials, I have to say she is definitely one of the best around. Very professional. I highly recommend Mika.

    Mika is absolutely amazing, I’m a bigger girl and I can be a bit shy but she has such a warm sole, she made me feel so welcome and comfortable that I found myself opening up and smiling. It was like Mika was family. I didn’t mind sharing with her and giving her my deepest insecurities because she made me feel like I was family so it doesn’t matter what I was uncomfortable with cause she was going to make me feel beautiful. I’m only upset I can’t give her a 10 star she is worth every penny spent and I will be seeing her again.

    From the moment you call and make the appointment, you feel truly valued and respected. Today I did the 60 min massage and facial special. I started with the facial with Meka and she was so kind, caring and compassionate. She went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and beautifulThen, my massage with Olivia. She took the time to get to know my needs and concerns then went above and beyond to address all of them. I had the most relaxing day of my life thanks to these two lovely women.     When you have a 30 minute window and need a rejuvenating facial, I can not express how wonderful Mika Harris will make not just your face, but through neck and shoulder message, incredible! I have never been a big fan of facials. I have medical skin care doctors I report to on a semi annual visit; but there are NO words to describe the session I received. NO words to describe how Im hooked on receiving this service. I booked another facial in two weeks. Im excited to see if I receive the amazing result as I did this past Thursday.

    I’m highly impressed with Mika, I have had facials before in the past from other salons which was ok nothing I would keep coming back. I came in the salon to get my daughter hair extensions for her senior prom and Mika introduced herself to me and we had a really good long talk and she showed me the room she would be doing the facials in and what she can do for me and noticed I probably had hormones imbalance which I was like yes you are the first person to say that cause I had a complete hysterectomy at the age of 23. So I made my first appointment with her to see what she can do and what is different with her facial then anyone else.. I was amazed very relaxing. We talked a little bit on what I want out of this and then it was like a real spa treatment I got to close my eyes really relax and no small talk during the facial. When my first facial was over with Mika. I was so relaxed she explained to me what she can do for me. I now go every 4 weeks to Mika and my face has never looked so good. I will only have Mika do my facials. If you ever want to try a one of kind so relaxing and like a real spa treatment go see Mika.. I could keep going on and on just wow, amazing. Mika thank you so much for changing my mind about facials and really helping me feel and look better and being very honest with me and not just a sale pitch just to get me to buy stuff that won’t work on my skin. I will see you again in a few more weeks :) my advise to anyone go see Mika she is the sweetest person I have ever met.

    Best Facial Ever!Mika at Face the day Salon & Spa gave me an amazing experience. So relaxing and calming and my skin positively glowed.The best part however, is the confidence she gave me. I was wearing heavy makeup. Mika told me that I had great skin and I did not need all that heavy makeup, she did not try to sell me products, and explained how I should apply the products I have. Because my skin has improved so much, I now only use a tinted moisturizer and a cream blush on my cheeks and lips, a little mascara and I am out the door. The freedom of this, knowing I look fresh and natural gave me the self-assurance that I did not have prior to meeting Mika and the skin treatments I received from her.

    My daughter was scheduled for a teen facial with Mika and we thought we had to cancel it because two days before she had been to the beach and had a sunburn so bad on her face that she had blisters on her cheeks and brow. Mika said she could help and she did! She was able to bring down the inflammation of the skin by 50 percent!It was the first time we had met her. She was warm and personable. Milka sent us home with some free samples to help her face heal. Thank you Mika! We will be back!

    First time client with Face the Day and was very pleased with my experience from the moment I stepped in the door. I was promptly greeted and checked in and offered water before my appointment. Olivia provided one of the best massages I’ve had! She asked about my issues of concern, was very polite and offered me my choice of aroma for the room.     Place has an amazing tea. Front desk girls are lovely and efficient. Facials, waxing and Aveda hair nutrition mask are recommended. There is one hair dresser that is always very loud when being “funny” with her clients, sometimes is extremely inconvenient to clients around.

    I just got a wash/cut/style from Reagan. She did an amazing job!!! She listened to my suggestions and answered all of my questions.     My friend got foils; Heather did a fabulous job, and Miranda gave me blackhead extractions and ALSO did a fabulous job. Dotty and her husband (Richard?) accommodated me in my transfer chair. Prices were very reasonable, and receptionist did a great job of fitting us in.

    My girlfriend and me did the couples massage. I believe we had Beth and Olivia and they were incredible!! Everyone there was very accommodating and friendly. You are offered a couple different kinds of beverages when you arrive ( get the cucumber water, so good). Anyway, this was my very first massage and it will not be my last. I was extremely happy with the overall experience and it was a fun time for my lady and I. Gonna go back when it is her birthday and get the bigger packages they offer. I will say this, the building is VERY old and has a musty smell to it but it did not detract from the massage. It is just an observation I made. In fact part of the charm, for me anyway, is the layout of the building and how you have to go to the second floor for the treatment. It adds a very quaint and rustic feeling to the experience.

    I went there a few days ago and had to ponder on my review. At first it was an excellent experience. Friendly receptionist over the phone, friendly staff when I arrived, and the hair dresser Alyssa was very nice and did a great cut! It was after that it went extremely down hill and I will definitely never be back. As soon as I declined to make another appointment the receptionist completely changed her attitude...even the hair dresser was like oh shes a 6-month-er, I gave her my card. Which couldve ended there with some giggles I pay and leave. Instead she glared at me and didnt respond to another word as I gave my excuse. I awkwardly pay the lady that took my card (she was nice and complemented my name). I apologize I cannot be a routine customer. I gave the rating because Alyssa still did a great job and the whole experience had great potential.

    Amazing experience! Their new building is beautifully remodeled inside and out. Decorated beautifully. All the staff was superb! Olivia gave the best massage ever and Alexis gave me fabulous facial and hair cut. Funny, im super picky about my hair but Alexis surpassed my expectations!

    It is so rare that I go to a salon. Recently, I moved to Ocala and wanted to get my hair recolored professionally. I was paired with Nicki as my stylist and oh man, shes amazing and sweet. The property, the service, and the staff are all so wonderful. I highly recommend it for anyone in the area who can afford shelling out a few extra bucks for quality.

    I arrived early and was greeted immediately and offered coffee, tea or water. Was there for a wash, trim and blow-dry. I was pleasantly surprised to learn the service came with a mini neck and shoulder massage. My wash also had a nice scalp massage. My trim was fine, not the best Ive ever had (my hair flips out if its not trimmed just right) but all in all a good experience.

    My Husband and I had our annual Birthday Massage from Cindy and it was excellent. Cindy is amazing at what she does and she is so professional.     The staff are so friendly and it seems homey inside. I get my hair cut there all the time by Carissa Cook and she does an amazing job! She knows how to cut my hair and bangs exactly how I want it. (Which has been very rare for me since no one else has been able to cut my bangs right). They also give a killer massage with essential oils thats super relaxing and smells amazing. Their pricing is reasonable and I will definitely continue going there and referring them to others. Btw, the restaurang underneath of them is amazing too! The food is amazing!!! (And they have THE BEST raspberry tea and lemonade). You have to give it a try!

    I came across this place on google maps, and decided to call. Molly answered the call and when I told her what I wanted, she made it happen 2 days prior to my visit, which was amazing. The entire staff took great care of me and I only wish I lived closer so I could go back more often.I got a full package plus a wax, and it went so smoothly and was timed so perfectly, I highly recommend this place.     Great place to come for a couples massage. They have a single room on the third floor where couples can get a 1hr massage together. Not very many places in Ocala offer that. They do maternity massages too. The second floor is a salon.
