Great attention to detail for all the services me and my daughter and I had done. Very friendly and professional. This is only the second nail salon Ive tried in Mt Dora, but it is by far the best of the two. The prices were pretty standard, in my opinion. Definitely will be going back.

I had a great experience here! I had work and couldn’t make it until 5:30/545 and they took me in to do some acrylics and a pedicure we finished after they closed but they never rushed me or anything he still took his time to do the details on my nails and they looked wonderful!! It’s expensive that’s the only thing but it’s worth it once in a while ya know.

Nicole Tubbs and I got a pedicure today,,I had Steve and Nicole had David..our feet and legs felt like we were on cloud nine..Jq Nails always ask if we would like a cold drink when we arrive. Everyone takes their time with all their customers. I have had my nails done here for the past three years. I have been happy with their work every time. All the employees are very caring.

Steve is the bomb! He took me right in and redid my nails and did an excellent job on free handing the Breast Cancer Awareness ribbon ladies! There are many good technicians in this location!

Andrew was awesome. I needed my nails to match a dress for a wedding and he helped me pick the perfect color, even put one or two on one nail to see if I liked it and took them off to find a different one. He cared about how I wanted them and went above and beyond to really get me what I wanted. I appreciate his time, effort, and patience. I recommend him for sure!

I walked in to see if I could have my eyebrows waxed. (They also offer threading, but Im not a fan of that process) They immediately took me back and got it done. They had about five staff and many customers, so I was surprised that I was able to be seen so quickly. The whole process was very fast, waxed and paid in about six minutes. She did a great job, and Ill definitely be back soon. Very nice staff, very competitive prices, and a lot of services are available.

After trying many nail salons in the area someone recommended JQ and now I won’t go anywhere else. Steve the owner is great. Runs a clean friendly business. Everyone in there speaks English and remembers you when you return. If you like someone in particular you can make an appointment to have them. Give them a try. You won’t regret it.

I went in on a whim for a pedicure. No appointment. 9am and wow they were packed. However I was seen right away. A delightful woman named Tracy took care of me. She was kind and gentle. Pedicure was wonderful and she did a great job on my toes.

I just moved to the area and needed to find a new tech. Let me start by saying I am a nail tech so I am probably more critical of the process and finished work than most. I went to several nail salons to see their work and decided to book an appointment with Emily. I get gel liquid nails and needed a fill. Emily was very nice and professional. I told her I was pickier than most and she seemed very willing to listen to what I wanted. She asked many times if I was ok with the work so far. When I asked for some minor adjustments to the shape she was quick to accommodate.The only things I wish they had done was use an orange stick to clean around my cuticle before I went under the uv light. Some of the gel ran into my cuticle and cured and it wasnt filed down so the nails appeared crooked. I went home and fixed them. Also the gel nail color was put on too thick so once it dried and I was outside I could see waves and ripples in the polish. I will ask for 3 thin coats next time I stead of 2 thick coats.Also had a jelly pedicure by Apple she was so pleasant to talk to. She did a decent job, but same thing wish she had cleaned the gel from cuticle before uv light. I had gel polish on my toes and a piece that felt like an ingrown. Again I went home and fixed.I have to say overall my experience was very good, and I have already made another appoint and will be sure to ask for the small things above.The salon is clean and the massage chairs are comfy. I was not offered a beverage as it says on their brochure, some clients were offered some were not.All the staff is friendly, but dont get pressured I to a service you dont want. I heard a client ask for gel liquid nails and one of the men there ( I think his name was Andrew) told her they didnt do that which is what I was getting done..He talked her into doing the dipping powder.I am looking forward to going back because I know Emily and her team will make sure I leave there happy.

I went here only after going to Alina Nails up the street. That place was AWFUL and did a horrible job on my nails. But I also wanted a pedicure for the holidays, so I went down the street and am SO happy I did. This place is so tranquil and they really take their time and make sure you are happy with the quality of work! Unlike the other place that was only about quantity NOT quality! LOVE THIS PLACE!! Will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Just left there and my nails are amazing!! Its been a long time since I had a good full set. From the moment she put the acrylic on I knew it would be good. Ella was my nail tech. Will most definitely be back.

I get my mani and pedi here because the salon is always clean. I always ask for John, but watching the other techs work and interact with their clients make me think they are all great. Also, they seem to have a lot of regular clients which speaks volumes about the salon.

Apple does my nails, she is fantastic she also does my pedicure I had an ingrown toenail and she took care of it and now it no longer hurts at all. I would let anybody else there do my nails but theyre all wonderful, I just like Apple. Thanks Apple

Jelly pedicures! Yes! I enjoyed being able to relax and get this awesome pedicure. I havent had a mani pedi in over a year. That being said, I did not enjoy being asked over and over AND OVER if I want gel, that I should want gel, and that regular polish will just chip, even after I said I just needed it to last 2 days (which it did). It was so relaxing until then, and it definitely caused a change in tip.

Sales pressure to change from pink and white (he said it was old fashioned!) to dip ..didnt like it as much (he said it would look the same...it didnt. And he said it would be the same price as pink and white ...it wasnt. It was $10 more $$.Wont be back

The guy that did my pedicure and my manicure was so funny and made me laugh a lot. My nails turned out very well. But, $90 is a lot of money for me.
