I’ve been attending courses with this school since 2018. The teachers here are amazing! I started with Cosmetology in Spanish at night with Eloísa and she was amazing! I ended up working full time and had personal issues that didn’t allow me to finish the Cosmetology program. I returned in 2020 for the nail program and I loved it! The school was virtually during that time because of the pandemic but the teacher we had was so skilled she showed us how to do nails online. When the school reopened they were very cautious and did very well adapting to the new norms. I finished the nail program and returned in 2023 for the skin care program. During my time there I had Norma during the night time and she was so insightful. I learned the importance of sanitation with her. Due to personal reasons I had to take time off from the program but when I returned I began daytime classes with Anabel. When I say she was a blessing to me in my life. She’s an amazing human being. She’s so skilled, knowledgeable and caring. She teaches you how to be successful when you are done with school. She goes above and beyond her position to ensure her students continue on their journey and ensure we do great. She follows up with how we’re doing after the program. Students call her if they have any issues even after finishing. Oh! I forgot to mention the products used are top of the line products. When you finish skin care you will be certified with Dermatologica which is an amazing brand. The school also has up to date technology for you to practice with. I recommend this school 10/10.

I’m not really one to write reviews, but after reading some of them I will leave my 100% honest review. I have been in the school since last year July 2022. Not once have I EVER had a problem with any teacher/staff. I am in the cosmetology program and I graduate in about 2 months. The staff is very friendly and understanding. My teacher is Ms.Disla and she is such an amazing teacher with a very positive attitude. She really motivates her students and pushes them to learn. I’ve seen a lot of reviews about other students giving this place 1 star, but honestly those are the students that don’t push themselves to learn. The teacher is going to teach you exactly what you need and want to learn, but if you don’t motivate yourself.. then what makes you think other people want to motivate you?! I have had an amazing experience with Celebrity and I’ve recommended this school to everyone that I come across that says they want to try cosmetology. I definitely recommend this school 100% to whoever is thinking about signing up! Don’t hesitate .Your future awaits you!!

I just recently finished up the barber program after spending an entire year here with Celebrity so here’s my honest review.The first thing I have to mention is that the teachers here are top notch. I spent most of my time with Fernando, who now teaches the Spanish class (he used to teach bilingual English/Spanish class). Fernando is an amazing teacher! He has a ton of experience in the barbering industry. He’s very patient with his teaching and will walk you through each haircut step-by-step. Being a Master Barber is more than just giving a good fade or blowout (even though in reality that’s what most people get at a barbershop at least in Miami) and so he wants to make sure you know every haircut (including scissor cuts) in and out. He’s real easy going and it was a pleasure to work with him.The second teacher that I had, Johnny, was towards the end of my program so I didn’t spend nearly as much time with him as I did with Fernando. He’s a new teacher at Celebrity but he’s also top notch. He definitely cares about his students and their success. He teaches the newly formed English class. A really cool experience that I had with Johnny was that we got to cut hair at Camilus House, which is a homeless shelter in Miami. It was an awesome experience. The students got to practice their skills and it was an opportunity to give back to the community. I definitely hope that continues to be part of the program at Celebrity, as it wasn’t before. While Johnny does teach all haircuts, you can tell he favors cutting with the clippers. He can teach you to give a mean fade and if that’s what you want to focus on and are bilingual then choose his class. However if you want to learn every cut in-and-out and are bilingual then give Fernando’s class a try.Both teachers were awesome and really made the school worth attending. They both have different teaching styles but attending a class with either one is worth it.The second thing I must say that is really good about the school is the staff, in particular Steve. Steve is the front desk guy/receptionist and is always happy, always welcoming, and always has a great attitude. They definitely picked the right person there to greet everyone coming in to get services. Ms. Álvarez, who only really helped me in the beginning of school was also a pleasure to work with. She was very responsive and answered every question I had before I made that jump.Now, let’s get to the school. The school that I started in was nothing compared to the new school that they had built in Westchester. The new school looks like something out of a magazine. It’s extremely nice and modern. There are multiple levels and allows for many different classes to be taught (cosmetology, skin care, nails, massage, etc). The school is really a work of art in itself and is worth visiting to at least check out. I can’t speak for the Hialeah campus as I’ve never been. The only downside with the school is that there is a lack of parking. The officials at the school did take steps to try to resolve this problem by hiring valet, which has helped immensely. However, if you’re anything like me, I don’t want anyone near or in my vehicle that is not me. Fortunately for me this wasn’t a problem as I had other means of transportation but something to think about if you have the same way of thinking as I do.Now, let’s get to the downside. There isn’t very much negative to say about the school and the positives far outweigh any negatives.- The first negative in my opinion is the lack of “customers” that come into the school. While there are customers that do come in, it’s not nearly enough for each student to practice on. Im not sure why but the school does charge customers to get a haircut and other services. It’s far less than you would spend outside of a learning environment, but I would think for the amount that people pay in tuition to attend here, they could afford to offer completely free services to get ppl in the door so that students are able to get adequate practice while under supervision of (exceeded text limit)

Celebrity beauty school of Miami is in amazing school to go to if you are into nails, hair, make up, and skin. I am in the nail technician program and both teachers Ms Carolina and Ms Jenny are great. They explain everything in detail and everything is hands-on, they adapt to how the kids learn best whether it’s Spanish or English they make it easy for everybody to learn what they need to know. You learn the basics and all of the latest trends. There’s never a dull moment in the school there is always smiles and laughter I would recommend the school to anybody!!!!

I am currently attending Celebrity School to become a Nail Tech. This has truly been a great experience. Everyone is so sweet and helpful. My teacher Adriana is an excellent instructor. Been in the barber program since January and all I can say I Fernando and even Jonny have both taught me so much and the school is the best in Miami by far, everyone is brand new and high end and you are what you surround yourself around. I already know how to cut hair and do everything I neeed to know, the exams are so easy when you have the best professor! Who makes the class fun and it’s just the best escape from reality I am really happy in this school and I highly reccomend this is definitely the best school in Miami Florida by far. Especially the Miami campus since it’s not even a year old yet super modern looking. It gives you big motivation. Everyone is super friendly and I can promise you won’t be disappointed. 5 star

I have been to Celebrity school of beauty several times for a variety of services. It began with a Facial given by my girlfriend whom was a student there, then she practiced waxing my nose and eyebrows (I love her so much I couldnt say no although I was terrified, it didnt hurt after all), and then she introduced me to the barber students whom have been giving me fades and shaves ever since. My girlfriend graduated and the school helped her find a job at a high end spa immediately and shes so happy doing what she loves. Although shes long gone I still frequent the school, its hard to leave a place thats so warm and friendly- almost like family. I highly recommend this school because the teachers and staff are really concerned with their students as well as the clients. They speak English and Spanish but youll find students from around the world there which I think is cool. For the Bros reading this review give the barbers a try-they wont let you down.

Literally the best experience ever! Did my research to study MakeUp and this was the one I felt it was more complete and honestly exceeded my expectations! The Makeup Teacher, Ms. Myii is the best at what she does and she will show you the way into the makeup industry! My program included Skin Care and I had the Opportunity to learn from two of the best ones in school Teacher Eloísa and Teacher Norma are amazing, academically and professionally prepare. The entire staff is always welcoming and are there to help you with whatever you need! The environment is always positive and you’ll definitely feel like you’re part of a family! This place has improved tremendously! I received a 1 hour massage for $30 from a student. It was relaxing and ok. Afterwards, I received a free haircut and it was fantastic! Best haircut in a long time! For a student barber, he was an ace at it! The staff was pleasant and professional. Nice positive vibe. All the students looked like they enjoyed being there. The waiting area, restroom and service area was clean and well maintained. I recommend it. I will be back.

Just to start Im going to tell you how how my life has shifted after going to this school. I got my certification and license a month after I graduated. Before I even graduated, I was already freelancing for a great brand called MAC Cosmetics thanks to a reference from one of the teachers. After a few months my managers loved how I worked because I applied what I learn in school in real life and I became a permanent MAC artist. Not only do I work for MAC but I freelance on my own and make extra money. On top of that, to put my esthetician license to good use I am going to be working for MAC and start doing lash extensions on my days off to make even more money.I do what I love everyday and work is no longer a struggle to wake up to. People love and appreciate my work and see the love that I have for what I do. Yes the school you go to has a lot to do with it but the love and determination you have for something has a lot to do with it as well. Surrounding yourself with positive people is key. Complaining about small negative pointless things are not going to pay you or get you anywhere in life!This school has not only shown me the basics but also shown me that I can be much more than I thought I would and that has meant the world to me. Forget the money Ive spent or the bad things that I have experienced, positivity and my happiness was the key to my success.Thank you to all of the beautiful people that serviced me at Celebrity beauty schools and all my wonderful class mates that went through this experience with me. By the way the teacher Teresa super sweet heart but most of all the entire staff and of what I found from searching every single school in Miami Dade County except for the public school system which you know how they operate I found that Celebrity School of Beauty was by FAR!!!!!! the most affordable at the time over $5000.00 cheaper. Also the principle Daykel Menendez will most likely be the one processing your paper work and only one word describes this man (Perfect) and that is a fact !!!!!!!! and job placement is for SURE!!!!!! I give Celebrity School of Beauty two thumbs up plus my feet thumbs lol for this FIVE STAR School :)
