    Have been going to Leesburg Dermatology for several years. All staff and providers are extremely professional and caring. I have had many different procedures due to being a Florida Beach Baby. I have no issue referring my family or friends. I would do it with confidence knowing they would be well cared for!!

    Been going here for about 8 years and everyone is kind and attentive. This year I had to have radiotherapy on my leg and I established a great rapport with the techs. I would highly recommend this dermatologist if you are in need of one. Just living in the Florida sun is reason to have a regular skin check for peace of mind.

    Describing this place and its medical staff as being professional is an understatement because they are so much more compassionate, cheerful, open mind/heart, caring people compared to any other doctor Ive been to. Its more like a family there and whether youre new patient or not, because they treat you like your one of their family members. Check this place out and if you dont like it then its either the end of the world or youre not a likable person, on average.

    What a great experience!! Dr. Johnny has a wonderful practice with great staff members.My fears with my Mohs procedure melted away as his caring attitude and professional staff made me feel comfortable. They were through and efficient. Sure, the numbing injections were a little uncomfortable at first, but nothing significant. (And you know we men are such babies when it comes to pain.) I never ever felt anything the couple of times he removed tissue with the Mohs procedure. So, I thank his two pre-surgery techs for that.I will definitely recommend Dr. Johnnys office for Dermatology work. Yup, thats my pic with a smile!

    I couldnā€™t be in a better place. Everyone there are very nice and most importantly, they are very knowledgeably. The nurse, I donā€™t remember her name, but I want to let you all know that I felt very comfortable with her doing my biopsy on my nose. She removed a big portion of my noseā€™s skin for the biopsy and I didnā€™t even noticed it..no pain at all. She said that sheā€™d remove more skin around the cancer just to make sure she got all cancerous cells being removed, and I agreed.Then, my 15 radiations were also very smooth. The girl who did my radiation treatment made me fell at easy. Her name is Karen. I love her for being sooooooo patience with me.I am a very nerved person and find out that I had cancer was a no, no for me, but thanks to these two wonderful girls I am free of cancer. I have no word to express my gratitude to them both, and also to the young men who came to inspect my nose once a week, and to this clinic. Thank you!     The staff is always friendly and helpful in scheduling When the provider had to remove some spots for a biopsy, they were gentle and explained the whole procedure to me and did it without pain.     I recently had a radiation consult with Dr. Gurgen. There was a miscommunication from a staff member, involving insurance and a future procedure. I was not happy about what had happened! The Doctor listened to my concerns. He then had the staff reach out to the insurance company and was able to correct the problem!Also, the MA who worked with me that day was very understanding and helpful. Holly has a great personality and she is one of the best Medical Assistants I have met. I am also giving a shout out to Audrey, the radiation technician! She is very personable and knows what she is doing. She is a happy person and will answer any questions one has, and help in any way she can. From check in to check out, I have no complaints! Everyone has been helpful!

    Leesburg Dermotolgy and MOHS Surgery with Dr Johnny Gurgen and his amazing staff have been my Go To Dermotolgy care. Over the years I have had to have many procedures from skin biopsies to several MOHS surgeries.I have been battling with skin cancer of some form or another since 1987. I have had two other plastic/reconstruction surgeons. When I was introduced to Dr. Johnny Gurgens office 9 years ago I knew I had the BEST! My first surgery sealed the Choice. He asked Have you ever done this before. I moved my hair back showing some healed surgery and said never. He remarked with a smile and compassion and said so you are one of those kinds. We laughed then he commented how the surgeries looked good but they gave you an emergency room stitches across your chest. I said yes go figure. They have been my team since then. I even hand their business card to potential clients.I love my team.In the picture I am the one with longer hair and blue dress.

    Everyone there was competent, pleasant and helpful. Im especially pleased that I have an appt to meet with Dr Gurgeon. It isnt your companys fault, but I am unhappy that I have not been able to get an estimate of the cost from my insurance co. Ive talked with 3 people from United Healthcare and also looked on line. Your people just told me that they pay whatever the insurance co will allow. If you have a way of getting an estimate for me, I think I will want radiation, rather than MOHS. Id certainly appreciate a ballpark estimate if you can get it for me. Thank you

    This is one of the best experiences with a doctors office EVER? Not only is the whole staff polite and friendly but I was walking back to my room within 1 minute from checking in. Wow, that is unheard of in a doctors office. The young man doing my surgical procedure and his assistant explained everything they were going to do and again while doing the procedure explained what they were doing step by step. Plus no pain, how great is that. Awesome experience. Thank you...UPDATE: I have been to their office over 10 times now and I am still as impressed as I was the first time. You cannot beat the service nor pleasant workers anywhere.

    I have been a patient here for several years. The staff has been incredibly helpful and supportive. The ease of making appointments and the attention they give to detail is comforting!Here, I am not simply a number. To me, it seems that I am their most important patient. And I think thatā€™s the way every patient feels.I meet with John Kelly most of the time, unless Iā€™m scheduled for surgery, and then it is Dr. Gurgen himself. When John asks me when he enters the room ā€œHow are you doing today?ā€ I usually come back with something like. ā€œI came here so that you could tell me how I am doing!ā€I know that their are many other dermatologists in the area, but when I found someone as good as Dr. Gurgen, I donā€™t really need to go anywhere else! I continue to recommend him to my friends.

    Staff is professional but very friendly at check in. They know us by name and always have a pleasant greeting. Weve never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be called back to examination room and this time didnt even make it to our chairs.     I love this place I had some cancer on my nose in my nose and the doctor removed it and he made me feel very comfortable with it and he understood my fears and apprehensions and made me feel very comfortable the nurses were very understanding and made me feel very much at ease and I just couldnt be more happy about them taking their time with me and you know giving me all the time I needed I was there for 7 hours so yeah it was a long day and Im very happy and I have to say if you need assistance like this this is a place to be and Ive been to several places and I just love this place most.UPDATE....still such a great place.     Ive had the pleasure of being a patient of Leesburg Dermatology for a number of years after being dissatisfied with other local dermatologists. The staff here is very friendly and courteous. Dr. Gurgen has a great manner, very knowledgeable and is highly skilled in Mohs surgery. I see Michael (APRN) on a regular basis who does my skin checks and hes very thorough and a pleasure to talk to. I consider him my first line of defense on catching potential skin cancers before they become too big an issue. They also offer radiation treatment for certain cancers as an option to surgery. I highly recommend Leesburg Dermatology and Mohs Surgery to anyone in need of their services.

    All the staff are courteous and helpful. You can tell they really care. I first went to have some spots on my back checked never dreaming that one would come back as skin cancer. From the removal and throughout my after care everyone has been amazing. Most recently I had a spot on my lower eyelid checked for a possible biopsy. Because I couldnā€™t say with certainty how long Iā€™ve had that spot it was decided that I would check it daily for growth and/or changes and at that time Dr Gurgen will biopsy it.     As my rating indicates I am very pleased with the services you provide..... However, your bookkeeping is another story. The lady that checked me out today said she was sending me a bill for my visit of 1/6/23 as I was mis-charged for that visit and only paid $2. I informed her that I was charged and paid $20 for that visit. My charges and credit card payments for my last four visits are as follows.12/12/23 - $139.0012/16/22 - $20.0001/06/23 - $20.0002/03/23 - $50.00I have the receipts for all of these visit and would be glad to drop them off for your review.Prior to these three visits it had been about 3 years since I had been in your office.I would like to clear this issue up before my credit is affected.PLEASE DISREGARD THIS REVIEW.     It is always a pleasure to go to Leesburg Dermatology. It starts when you go to the office with the friendly girls at the front desk and continues to the nursing staff. My guy is John Kelly, I trust and believe in him to protect me and take care of any of my skin problems. Dr Johnny is the best...caring and knowledgeable!!

    Unfortunately because of my fair skin and way too many days spent outdoors in Florida I have needed constant skin cancer care for many years(I am 75 yrs. old) and I have had a large number of dermatologists as I moved to different areas of Florida. Johnny Gurgen is 1 of the best I have ever had. He and his wonderful staff bend over backwards to give me the best total care that I have ever experienced.

    At my skin check up a suspicion spot was discovered by Michael Gurgen. He did a biopsy and it came back as squamous cell carcinoma. Another appointment was set and Mohs Surgery was performed by Dr Johnny Gurgen. He cut out all the skin cancer the first time. I highly recommend this place. The team and office staff are good at their jobs and very friendly.
