    Staci did my hair! First time client at this salon and I went in asking for a cute layered cut with highlights! My hair turned out beautiful and I can’t wait to book my next appointment! Definitely recommend this salon! Everyone was so nice & welcoming. Staci was quick, steady with her hands, and she made me feel comfortable and relaxed the entire time. I will be referring all of my friends and family to go here!

    I was able to get a convenient time for an appointment the same week. Alexis did a great job on my updo. She carefully listened to what I needed and did exactly that. She did an amazing job, my hair stayed intact for the whole night of the event.I will sure be back.

    Since moving to Lakeland, I hadn’t found a good, go-to hair place. And this was after years, I looked up places to try out and thankfully found Esquire!I’ve gone to Denise a couple times now and she is just the absolute best. Honestly, I need to get my hair cut more than I do, and even though it had been forever since the last time I went in, she still remembered me immediately.She’s also so good about confirming how much hair you want cut. I feel like a lot of places you’ll say how much you want trimmed or cut and then end up with much shorter hair than you wanted. But Denise is very careful to double check how much you want off and make sure it’s what you want after she works on it, and continually ask.During Christmas season she’ll even hand out cute little gifts. It’s a whole experience going here and I love it! They also are pretty reasonably priced especially because some salons can be so spendy. Definitely recommend!

    Jennifer Ferguson is amazing! Im in Lakeland on vacation for a couple weeks and didn’t have time to have my girl in Michigan touch up my roots before we left. I made an appointment with Jennifer and she did an incredible job-no grey at all and she was very careful to not get dye on my skin. I will definitely be back and have been talking about her scalp massage/shampoo all day to everyone! Would even consider having her just wash and style my hair every few days haha

    This is such a long, overdue review but so necessary: I absolutely love my hair stylist Josh. He was incredibly talented and sweet. I’ve had my hair styled and colored before, but Josh’s sincerity and effort won me over. I have never stepped out of a salon feeling so comfortable and heard before coming here. Esquire is a hidden gem in Polk County. Try it out! You won’t be disappointed.

    The people here couldnt be nicer. I went through a hair transformation coloring and chopping off my hair while being nervous and picky,... everyone was supportive, welcoming and worked with me to make sure I left happy. I look forward to coming back keeping up with my new doo, thanks again!

    First Review: I come here for a massage. Its the best thing ever!!!!!!!!!!!!! I see Jayme. I feel so relaxed and all my muscles come out feeling amazing! I love going! Ive always wanted to try other things in the spa!03/15/2020 Update: I got my first professional haircut here in 7yrs. I was so nervous, but Alexis made me feel so comfortable and confident. I have never been so in love with my hair! I absolutely am blown away and will FOR SURE be back to her as my hair stylist 😍 She is incredible!11/21/20 Update: Alexis did my hair and makeup for my wedding and it was Gorgeous!!!!! She did a house call, which was perfect because I didn’t want to go anywhere that AM. I felt relaxed, in good hands, and it turned out more than I had hoped for!

    Took my 16 year old niece to get her eyebrows shaped for the first time. She was apprehensive at first, but Camille R. did an amazing job of putting her at ease and her brows came out exactly as she wanted them! I would highly recommend you book with Camille for any facial or body waxing services you need!

    I went there for the first time since I moved to Lakeland. I asked for Josh and I am so glad I did. I have extremely dark brown hair and I left with an entirely new look! I came in with some pictures and Josh did an amazing job replicating it 😊😊😊

    Staci Drapak done a beautiful job on my hair color and cut, I was so happy with the transformation! We talked and discussed the color I was hoping to transition to and she done exactly what I wanted! I was very happy and satisfied with her work!     Great staff and atmosphere; everyone is always friendly. I have frizzy wavy/curly hair with different curl patterns and Denise always does an amazing job. She always listens to what I want and what my concerns with my hair are. I wont go to anyone else.

    Update: I have been consistently going to this salon now since my first visit 7 months ago and wow am I impressed! Jennifer is my stylist and she has really turned around a bad situation that was my hair. Now I am happy with my hair and she does incredible work. Not to mention the entire staff here is friendly and professional! So glad I finally found a place that I can go back to!Went in to have my hair fixed because it was terrible after going to another salon in the area. Jennifer was amazing. She fixed the cut and I will definitely be coming back for a color correction! Great pricing too!

    I just got my hair done today by Josh and I am so happy with my hair! This was amazing and I had fun while getting my hair done. He was awesome to talk with while he worked and he was super understanding when I had a minor situation briefly show up at one point and I am so glad it ended up being resolved easily enough! Josh, you are awesome and whenever I need to get my hair done in the future I hope to be able to have you do my hair. Seriously amazing and everyone at the salon was so nice.

    Tonight was my first time visiting esquire salon and I loved it. Joshua Garcia was my stylist. Wow I am super impressed and No, we are not related. Saying he is talented is an understatement. From the moment I walked into the salon the experience exceeded my expectations. Josh greeted me with a warm smile, and he took his time consulting with me to understand what I wanted for my hair. He is professional, courteous, and truly cares about pleasing his clients. This was the best hair experience I ever had! I would highly recommend Joshua Garcia he is a master of his craft.

    Absolutely love coming here. I am a once every 7 months type of visitor and each time I come here is wonderful. I make my appointments with Jennifer and am stunned with what she can do to hair. I have curly, frizzy, unruly hair that she somehow turns smooth and I LOVE the balayage she can do. I have naturally dark hair and after 3 sessions I now have the exact shade of blonde I was after. Shes so nice too, we always have pleasant conversations.The salon itself is professional, clean, and has a great atmosphere. After several other failed visits at other salons in town, Ill be coming here for all future visits. Highly recommend!

    This was my first visit to a salon since I moved to Florida 2 years ago. Im a hairstylist myself and have very long hair so to say I was nervous was an understatement. Alexis was recommended to me by a friend and all I can say is she was absolutely right! Alexis was fantastic and I am thrilled! She listened to me and made me feel very comfortable.     My hair stylist that Ive went to ever since I got my first hair cut moved up north and I was in need of a cut bad! My mother went there when she needed someone in a pinch and recommended Josh. He was very nice and while he gave me suggestions he listened to what I wanted and the result was everything! He even gave me a few styling tips for the future and recommended some good products. Hes gonna be my go to from now on.

    My first visit to this salon. My normal stylist couldnt fit me in until mid November. I didnt want to wait that long and decided to try this salon. So glad I did! Alexis was phenomenal! She listened and gave me exactly what I was looking for. Matched my color perfectly. She wore her mask the entire time which I very much appreciated. Unfortunately for my former stylist, she lost a client, but Alexis gained a new one. Highly recommend!

    Amanda at Esquire just gave me the best cut I have ever had in my life! I was happy with my former stylist and was satisfied with my haircuts, but this was on a whole new level. I didnt give her any direction other than that I wanted to look nice for an interview, and I couldnt be happier with what she decided to do, and my hair does not look good easily. Its a whole new style for me, yet not too dramatic. The look is both professional and creative. I was extremely pleased with the rest of the service at Esquire as well. I called looking for a last minute appointment and they fit me in the very next day, at a time that was convenient for me. Everyone was very courteous and friendly, and I was attended to immediately. I was also very happy with the price -- affordable and quite lower than I expected given the quality of Amandas work. I cant say enough good things about this place, and I highly recommend it.

    This is my second time going to this salon and I can definitely say that Alex did an amazing job! She is very detail oriented and gave me exactly what I asked for👏🏻 The atmosphere was great and she made me feel very welcomed. Oh, I also liked the products she used in my hair.     Ive always gone out of town to get my hair done because it seems that in the past Ive had horrible results from salons in Lakeland. I decided to give Esquire a shot and WOW!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! Amanda was absolutely amazing. She was very professional and efficient. I gave her an idea of what I wanted and she gave me the cut that I exactly wanted. She gave me very good advise as well. I will definitely be coming back. Everyone here was very friendly and the salon itself was very neat and clean.

    After reading the reviews, I called and scheduled an appointment with Josh. I was able to get in the same day and had Josh’s undivided attention. I went in with 3 different pictures and Josh took the time to understand what I was looking for. He took his time and explained everything he was doing through the process. If you are looking to bring an old style back to life or a complete change in your look, Josh is the stylist for the job! I love my hair!

    Great salon and great staff!Alexis was my stylist and she was fabulous, I highly recommend her. I had a dramatic cut, went from long hair down my back to a short sassy pixie cut. I took a picture of what I wanted and she did a great job matching it. Its the shortest Ive ever gone and I havent been in FL long so I relied on Google reviews to find a reliable salon, This is my salon from now on!

    I love this place. I have been going here since I was little. My hairdresser Tiffany Brown is amazing. I trust her with any ideas she has about my hair. I love her as my hairdresser, she is such a sweet and personable person, as well as all the other ladys in this salon. Everyone here is so sweet. This will be my go to salon with any hair situation, weather is a special date, prom, homecoming, or a wedding. They treat you well and do amazing hair. I recommend this to hair salon to everyone.

    I had a shampoo, cut, and blow dry yesterday by Joshua, who is relatively new to this salon. He did an awesome job and gave me a great cut. I especially liked that he explained what he was thinking and what he was going to do, welcoming my input. The facility is very pleasant and does not have the overpowering chemical and perfume aromas that can set my asthma off! Very grateful to have discovered this place, and been assigned to Joshua, and Ill definitely be back.

    So this is my first review and its long overdue. Esquire Salon has saved my hair twice and I cant thank them enough! The first time was about 2 years ago when I decided that getting a perm for 20 dollars sounded like a perfect idea. After having nearly half of my hair fall out and crying for multiple days I finally went to do something about it. I sadly dont remember who cut my hair that time, but she did such an amazing job! Literally saved my hair and confidence! The second time was when I decided that boxed hair dye was just what my hair needed. After dying my hair purple, and damaging the ends like no other, I decided to run back to the professionals. Amanda Lee cut and dyed my hair perfectly and I am literally in love with the results. She was so sweet and caring, listened exactly to what I said, and I will definitely be going back to her from now on! Thank you Esquire Salon!

    This was my first visit. I was greeted by friendly staff with warm smiles. My stylist, Tiff, was right on time and escorted me to my chair. She was bright, positive and a good listener. She asked me key questions to ascertain what exactly I wanted. She also had some good suggestions and seemed very knowledgeable about the texture of my hair and suggested an appropriate cut. She coloured my roots and the colour blended exactly with the rest of my hair. She was cheerful, honest and attentive - coming back half way through to check on me. She like to laugh and I enjoyed hearing her restaurant suggestions in the area. My hair cut was wonderful. It certainly made me look more youthful. She had said that she does not give generic cuts but works hard to accommodate your particular kind of hair. I loved my colour and cut and I will be back many times. Thanks Tiff.

    I never felt more beautiful! I am from out-of-town and went to Lakeland for my sons wedding. Alex Hooper did my make-up and hair, and she did an outstanding job! Hours later, after dancing and celebrating, I still looked like I had just walked out of the salon. Alex is fabulous! I highly recommend her!

    Lovely place, walking in the environment is warm and inviting. Emily Gibson is my new go-to gal for any of my beauty needs, she knew exactly what to do with my straight, fine hair. Everywhere else Ive been I am disappointed with my results, when I walked out of the salon I felt so relieved to finally find someone who knows her stuff.     Ive been to one other salon in Lakeland, and they didnt really master the bob cut even though I showed them a picture, so I was pretty nervous to go to another hair salon. I had Josh as my stylist and he was beyond AMAZING! I absolutely love my hair cut 😁 I will highly recommend Esquire to anyone.

    Ive had a few appointments with Tiff Wyatt so far and, while she always does a fabulous job, last Saturday was probably the best! I wanted a big change and went from my regular long brown hair to a chic pixie. Tiff did such a great job! She really knows how to form a cut to flatter your face and even cut my bangs at just the right angle for my glasses. My color looks beautiful and the highlights are thoughtfully placed. My husband, often underwhelming with his opinions, especially on something like my hair, keeps raving about it. Im now being introduced as his new wife. Tiff has a fresh, young taste that is very hard to find in southern, country towns like Lakeland. Go see Tiff, trust her professional opinions and you wont regret it! :)

    I just moved to Lakeland a few months ago and was worried about finding a new place to get my hair done. After reading reviews online I decided to give Esquire a try and I could not be happier. I found Amanda Lee and I love her. She is great at listening to what you want to do and making it happen. Last visit I decided to switch it up for winter and color my hair and add some highlights and low lights to make things fun and she did an amazing job!! I am going back today to get my hair cut and add some more highlights and I cant wait because I know she will do an awesome job:)

    I just got my hair cut and colored by Taylor at Esquire Salon and she was amazing! Not only does my hair look fabulous, Taylor suggested items for my hair type that I didnt know existed! (Wet Brushes? Best. Hair. Invention. Ever.) I watched other stylists while I was in the chair and I would highly recommend any one at Esquire, they all were very dedicated to their craft.     My hairdresser of many years unexpectedly moved up north, so finding a new hairdresser on such short notice was a little nerve wracking! A friend works as a receptionist there and recommended a few names for me. After some consideration, I ended up choosing a young lady called Alexis. I was nervous that she would have trouble getting my unique, assymetrical hair style just how I like it, but she ended up replicating it perfectly! I was so relieved! She was super nice and a great conversationalist. Great experience!

    5/18/12-Diane Yard was great with my 4yr old who was getting her haircut for the first time! The salon itself is beautiful and we were offered a drink upon arrival. Once our stylist was ready she was kind and excited for our daughter and very gentle and gracious at giving instructions to her such as look down. My sister has been going for years which is why I decided to try Diane. Top notch place, top notch people and I recommend whole heartedly! Two other stylists even talked with my daughter about what was going on and were VERY kind!

    I got my hair done by Lindsay for two photo shoots and just my normal cut and color. She did an AMAZING job and I could not be happier with how it has turned out each time. She takes her time, is a perfectionist, and always does exactly what I want. I have super long hair that can be hard to work with, but she does it no problem. I get so many complements it is ridiculous and since seeing her I have sent many people her way because my hair is a for sure a walking advertisement. So impressed!!!

    Josh IS the best hair stylist I’ve ever had, hands down.He is very personable and so fun to converse with!Before he begins he ensures that he knows exactly what you want. Then he explains his process of hairstyling and how he will go about cutting your hair. Throughout the hair cut, he explains to you what he is doing and makes sure it is what you want by asking for feedback. I love the way he goes about seeking your feedback (i.e., “What do you think overall?”, “What do you think about this, this, and/or this?”, “Would you like it shorter or is this a good length?”). He is wonderful at gauging EXACTLY what you want and this is a VITAL part of the process. I think many people (at least myself) have struggled with hairstylists in the past because the hair stylist does not keep gauging the client’s opinion to ensure they are 100% satisfied with the cut. When that is not done effectively, it then falls on the client to speak up if they are not satisfied. After a while, depending on the type of person you are, that can become uncomfortable and make the entire experience less pleasurable. I also love Josh’s honesty. If asked his professional opinion he will kindly tell you. I find that information very valuable and it’s most likely because less than three minutes after talking with him, it was EXTREMELY evident to me that he knew exactly what he was doing —that he was competent AF in this profession. And he did NOT disappoint. In all honesty, for the past 7 years I have been unhappy with my haircuts. The hair stylist I had prior to that moved away. So, to finally find someone as competent as Josh is a blessing and I am very thankful for him. 💇🏻‍♀️😀❤️

    I have been to Lindsay several times and will continue to come back. She took time to listen to exactly what I wanted and then made it happen. She was friendly and kind, all the while delivering a quality salon experience. I brought my son in for a haircut and she was fun with him and made him feel special.     Update: I ended up speaking with the person in charge of this establishment, Diane we had a good conversation and cleared up any misunderstanding. I was refunded for my haircut to be given to my barber who fixed my “bad haircut.” As mentioned below I will be returning for continued perms from the same stylist and continue to appreciate her craft in that service. 👌🏻I went in for two services my last time being here. The second one, a haircut 💇🏻‍♂️ was not well done with one side being visibly longer than the other. It was supposed to be a type of cascading bob cut short from the back to longer in front. Even my front ends that were supposed to be longer were uneven making it most noticeable. I was told by a receptionist I would still have to pay to get my hair fixed that the stylist themselves did wrong on me. Other than that this is a good establishment.

    This is my second time getting a hair cut from Joshua. Last time he added an undercut to my pixie, and I loved it so much that I came back for the maintenance.     I just moved to Lakeland and I was so nervous about finding a salon and a hair stylist. I think finding a doctor can be easier! I researched for a salon and found Esquire Salon & Spa and was very impressed by their website. Their prices seemed very reasonable so I booked an appointment with Amanda. I can not say enough of how I enjoyed my experience. I hadnt even walked through the door and I knew this was the place for me. There was spa music playing and I walked though the door and felt like I was about to get treated well. While I was in the waiting area, there was fresh coffee brewing and biscottis waiting for me. Amanda listening to what I wanted done with my hair and she hit it spot on. She was super friendly and went out of her way to make sure I was taken care of. I will definitely be back!

    Been getting my hair cut by Paul for some time now and every single time he does a stellar job. I usually have a hard time finding barbers that can actually do exactly what I ask for, but Paul never has a problem understanding my requests. I moved to Tampa from Lakeland and tried to find a new barber but after several attempts and multiple botched haircuts, I went back to Paul and I will never see another barber as long as I have hair!Also, brought my girlfriend with me last time and Lindsay did an incredible job on her hair!

    *TIFF WYATT*It all started when I had a hair emergency which let my hair ruined, not only was my confidence taken from me, but I was left feeling like I couldnt sit down in a chair and trust someone again. I made the decision to go to esquire after I had been recommened by many people to get my hair done by Tiff Wyatt, because she specializes in color and could correct any problem. After many hours of her listening and taking her time on me, I left feeling like the weight was lifted of my shoulders. I have only went to Tiff since. I think we can all agree that finding the right Hair Stylist is like finding a needle in hay stack. I always have positive vibes when I sit down in her chair and never feel doubtful. She is very attentive and listens very closely to the details when talking about what I want done with my hair. Another aspect that I appreciate about Tiff Wyatt is that she is very informative about Liquid tools, from shampoos, to the best serums. She customizes the style and cut that works best for my lifestyle and the type of hair I have. I truly couldnt ask for a better person to make me look and feel beautiful!

    I had a hair dyeing gone wrong emergency literally yellow hair. Not only did this place make a way and time for me to come in during all this reopening phase stuff, but Joshua G did a amazing job fixing my hair without damage. It was truly great !!!     Nashan at esquire salon is wonderful. She is very nice and professional. I had never met her until my appt and she made me feel comfortable as if I had been going to her for a while.     I just recently moved to the Lakeland area and needed to find a new salon. I googled professional salon Lakeland and this magnificent place was the first choice (: I decided to change my hair up and get the Ombré style along with a shellac manicure for my birthday. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with warmth and as soon as I filled out the new-customer paperwork (which was like 4 very simple questions) Amanda Lee happily took me to her chair. She was very eccentric and spunky and just my style and knew exactly what she was doing. My hair came out absolutely perfect! As soon as Amanda was finished, Kia took me to her station for my manicure. I have to say Kia was by far the most professional and pleasant woman to have ever done my nails. We talked the entire time, not once was there a dull moment, but she still remained completely focused on her task. I absolutely loved how my nails came out, overall this was an amazing experience and i cannot wait to make my next appointment!!

    I love this place and the employees. I have had bad experiences at other salons and have learned that if Id like to get my hair cut correctly I should just come here first. Today I brought my mother in to fix a bad orange bleach job and Josh was amazing, super sweet and detailed about the process my mothers hair was going to go through and it took a while but she and I are both really happy with the outcome.
