    I had my routine skin check and a few simple biopsies. One came back positive for basal cell carcinoma and had to be surgically excised by David Fitzmaurice PA-C. The procedure was painless and fast. The follow-up suture removal was also comfortable. I like the way they take photos of any lesions both prior to and after they are removed and entered into your chart. They are also very good about staying on schedule. I appreciate that too. I am very happy with my care and the personalities of the practitioners I have interacted with.

    Got an appointment the same day they received my referral. Took care of my skin problem on the first visit. This is the first referral where I did not have to wait months to get an appointment.Went back for a total skin check. Had 2 spots that needed to be removed. On follow up visit all is healing nicely.

    Dr. Metropolis is the absolute best. Full body skin checks are mentally uncomfortable as it is.. But he is so kind, so thorough and professional he makes it so easy. I always leave feeling WAY better than I did before going. He checks every spot, and always gives the best tips/medical advice for any and all of your dermatology concerns. We are blessed to have found him! Out of all the dermatologists I’ve seen, he is our #1 recommendation.

    I see PA, Courtney Cobaugh, and she is extremely knowledgeable. She has removed things and goes through the instructions with me beforehand so I know what to expect.     I was a patient at Advanced Dermatology a few years back, then switched to another local derm. I had a bad experience with the other office and got a little anxiety to see a derm again. I just switched back to Advanced this week for a skin check, and Im happy I made that switch back. Dr. Mitropoulos is such a refreshing personality. Hes incredibly knowledgeable about skin cancer, skincare, scalp and hair care. Every question I had, he was happy to answer and went into great detail to help me out. Got rid of any anxieties I had, and was such a great experience I felt like it deserved a glowing review. Appreciate all the folks at the office!

    Advanced Dermatology in Heathrow is a great choice. The location, right off Lake Mary Blvd and International Parkway, is convenient for me. It is on the second floor, but the elevator was a little hard (for me) to find. Once you get to the second floor, the office is directly in front of you. Super convenient! The staff was friendly, and Dr. Mitropoulos was a love. He listened, reassured and explained everything so well. The appointment I had so dreaded turned out to be a good experience.

    They were extremely helpful from the time I made my appointment until I left the office. The front desk is staffed with personnel that is very professional and friendly that make you feel comfortable when you arrive. The medical assistant staff are very professional and takes great care in getting you back to the exam room with very little wait time, as well as getting you prepared to meet the Doctor. I had very little wait prior to seeing the Doctor that did a very thorough exam and answered every question that I had. When I checked out it was very easy to take care of payment and scheduling a follow-up appointment. I highly recommend Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery - Heathrow.

    All the staff are very kind and helpful. I’ve been seeing PA-C David Fitzmaurice for years now. Extremely good at finding potential problems and resolving them.     PA David was amazing! It was my first facial cool peel and I was nervous. He put me at ease and explained every step as he performed the procedure. The cosmetic room is extremely clean and sterile which i appreciated. They provided instructions and samples of products after procedure. I am so excited for my next facial.     Just left there and it was the best fastest Doctors office visit. I went in 30 min early I was shocked I walked in was in a rooom within minutes two minutes later sweetest Doctor came in.     My husband brought my 10-year-old to see Andrea Thayer, PA for an issue. Since I couldn’t be there my husband put me on speaker with the PA and she explained everything to me including the three options available to take care of the situation. I have and have had many procedures performed here as well as treatment for ongoing rosacea and have always been satisfied with Dr. Fitzmaurices assistance. He has a pleasant bed-side manner and doesnt talk down to you. The staff and nurses are friendly and help to get you through your appointment. My last appointment was February 1st, 2019 and I was there less than 35 minutes including my treatment! Thank you for the excellent service.

    My 10 year old daughter is seen here regularly for the past 3 months. Everyone is always polite and professional. However, the other day I was running late and I called to let them know and a nice woman named Laura answered and she was so sweet. I tend to run late at time like we all do but I have never had the customer service like I did from Laura. She said take my time and drive safe not to rush and we will wait for you. Simple little gestures like that go a long way! Great job Advanced Dermatology! I hope Laura comes back after she has her baby! (I looked for who she was when I got to the appointment).

    A+ Office.I was recently in the office on more than once occasion accompanying my grandmother for her skin cancer surgeries. From the moment we stepped foot into the office we were greeted with warm smiles and jolly attitudes. My grandmother was very nervous about this surgery but they made it a great expierence for her. I was very impressed with the patient care and how sweet everyone was to her throughout the day. They supplied us with breakfast and lunch and made sure we were comfortable and had coffee and blankets if we were cold.Where do you go that they take such good care of you like this? When we got to check out the office manager even walked us out to the car (because my grandmother was feeling weak) She even called to make sure we had made it home safe! I am beyond impressed with this office and the entire staff. I thank doctor scholls, his nurses and everyone who made the visits so wonderful. THANK YOU! - Jay

    The staff is extremely helpful. There is a variety of treatments done here. Restroom and office are clean. Mohrs patients have their own waiting area. Snacks are provided if your surgery runs longer then expected. Courtney is very pleasant, professional and most enjoyable. I am very pleased with Advanced Dermatology and its associates. I would also like to mention Scott, PA. He is wonderful with his highly technical skills in surgery and his wonderful chair side manner. Scott gets 5 stars also!UPDATE: Fri 13 went to have another mohs surgery. I was fortunate to have Veta, Mary and Stephanie assisting Dr Shultz and Scott Clark, PA closing. They all did a great job and made my experience pleasant and memorable.

    When I called the office asking if a sore on my wifes leg can be examined and treated they agreed and made a quick appointment. Upon coming to Lake Mary we ran into a storm. In pouring rain we looked for a parking place - nothing near at all, and made our way in pouring rain, so we were late. BUt they discussed it and graciously said David _?______ would take her.     Dr. Schulz and his staff are extremely professional, caring and friendly. I have had 2 surgeries on my face and I was extremely concerned about the scars. Dr. Schulz is such a dedicated physician that the sutures on my face were remarkable.     I had David Fitzmaurice. He is amazing. Ive had laser and fillers done at different places and was never pleased with results. I have a face scar that i had 6 previous treatments on and it was still very noticeable and with just 2 treatments he significantly reduced the scars appearance. He also did a great job on my lip fillers. The last girl who did my lips injected mainly into the corners of my mouth giving me no volume and left me feeling like i had hard lumps of clay stuffed in my mouth. His filler was so smooth and left my lips full, pouty and soft with no clumping.

My girls say she is like an Aunt to us.Dr Burton fixed up & stitched one of my daughters, one of my friends sons, and a good friend of mine.
