    Dr Perry was magnificent. I’ve been to countless others with Advanced but none of them could help my situation and understand like Dr Perry. It seemed like a guessing game however Dr Perry took the time to understand my problem and gave a proper diagnosis. With the prescriptions I’ve had on the past was not effective. Dr. Perry meds showed immediate results. Needless to say I will be seeing Dr Matthew Perry for ALL of my dermatology needs.

    Strict safety protocols were in effect at the time of may appointment which I was very pleased to see. I was seen right on time and the PA, Michael Perry and his assistant were very nice and were able to partially resolve my issue. A follow up appointment was necessary to resolve the problem. Both were pleasant, knowledgeable and friendly. Explanations were given in easy to understand language and both wanted to make sure I understood and if I had any other questions. The staff handling scheduling and check out were very efficient.

    I have nothing but great things to say about every single one of my experiences at the location just off of US 1 in Jacksonville. Dr. Perry makes it an absolute pleasure to come in every time for a check up or appointment, treating his patients with a tremendous amount of care, as well as a happy, dedicated and positive attitude, which makes all the difference in the world. It is the only place to where I look forward to my doctor’s appointments. And that’s saying a lot!

    It was super easy to get an appointment made for the same day. Luckily called at the right time when someone just cancelled their morning appointment.Once arrived for my appointment the ladies at the front desk were very sweet and accommodating and got me checked in super quick.Back in the patient room, the nurse practitioner Marino was very pleasant and quick in her diagnosis and had me back on my way in a much shorter time than I anticipated. It’s already been established that I may need to return in a few weeks if necessary which I wouldn’t see as being a problem.This entire office and staff was very professional and I appreciated their ability to squeeze me in. I will definitely be returning if another skin issue arises.

    As a black woman, I was a bit apprehensive, if they could help me with my scalp and hair texture type but I was wrong. They were AMAZING, understanding, and quick. I love their hours and called as soon as they opened at 7:30 AM and got a same day appointment. They gave me products at an amazing price and they were approved through my insurance super quickly. They were also able to help me with my face and hyperpigmentation. The Dr to the lady that asked me questions made me feel really comfortable with my experience even though it was a bit embarrassing. I love the location and cant wait to come back for my checkup. And the clientele is diverse and elegant as well. I felt extremely comfortable. I cant say enough great things about this place!

    I had a full body check up for skin cancer possibilities. Short time in the waiting room, efficient gentle check up, and one biopsy taken from my leg. All nurses and Dr Yavney were considerate and friendly.

    Everything went great. Staff was very friendly. I was seen on time and in and out in know time. I went to get a spot checked out for possibly skin cancer. The Dr. ended up finding another spot that I did not see and did a biopsy on both. Was very impressed how smooth everything went and had zero pain. Now just got to wait a couple weeks for results. Thanks Dr. Yavny for being so awesome!

    Great people! From the receptionist to the PAs to the doctors, a great experience. Theyre efficient, I usually get in when my appointment is, not an hour or so later. The assistant gets the details so when the doctor comes in s/he can cut to the chase. And the doctors are excellent, being able to identify problematic moles quickly and efficiently, and communicate clearly their (invariably accurate) opinion. And they get back to you when the results come in, for better or worse.

    Danielle the Nurse Practitioner at this location is amazing! She took the time to listen to me and seemed genuinely concerned with my problems. She keeps in contact with me and doesn’t treat me as simply just another patient. All the staff there are friendly and extremely helpful. I started off at a different location and was not happy there at all. I am very pleased with this office!!

    Took my 87 year old Mom in for her apt today. While the Dr was very attentive and thorough, the check in process was a big concern. Shes been going here for a couple of years but today was asked to use an iPad to enter detailed medical info that 1) they should already have on file and 2) she never would have been able to do Id she had been by herself. It took almost 30 minutes to go through this 20 page data entry process and quite frankly, I resent doing work they should gave staff to do. They certainly didnt charge her less for doing their data entry work!!

    Dr. Boyd is a great doctor! He really works hard to make sure you get a good diagnosis and treatment and is professional in all ways. But I believe that medical practices which keep their entire staff in place for years (not just months) generally perform better. The staffing here is not as stable as I think it needs to be. This is not to take away from what these good people do - they do well, but more a reflection of the ownersand their policies and ability to attract and keep a good support staff.

    As a recovering needle-phobe I was certainly apprehensive about having two surgeries for squamous cell carcinomas on my forehead. The calm and professional care I received at Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery was amazing! It was basically a pain-free experience. From the two surgeons to the nursing staff I was always in the know about what was happening. Though Im not looking to go back I will definitely give them an AWESOME recommendation!

    The PA who I have seen consistently since she first treated me nearly a year ago is very calming and comforting. Through several subsequent visits to treat a biopsy scar that decided to keloid, she has slowly and surely zapped my troublesome spot to something I can live with. The final treatment of freezing/lasering the outer edges of the spot is healing and revealing a more smooth, uniform area that is finally to my liking. Thank you for the care and patience!

    Dr. Taylor has wonderful bedside manners and explains everything to you. I would recommend him to anyone. The staff is very friendly as well. If you are there having the MOHS procedure they feed you lunch because you are there for a minimum of 2 hours.

    Love the service, it was a little busy the day I went but the service was good. The only thing I will say is as a Veteran I was sent here by a community network I had never used before and my med cream was sent to my local publix which I showed up and it wasnt ready as I was told it would be that day sent over. Then the following couple of days I check back to find out my medication was billed to me versus the VA that sent me over as a patient. This should have been in my file the process, instead I was wasting gas twice in a row and then had to find out how to get the VA voucher or what not, got the number for Advanced Derm and then they faxed it over, meds then got wrote up through the VA and mailed which ended up taking almost a week and half to get them. I would recommend the process be checked when dealing with VA Referrals. Thanks.

    We had to drive to Jacksonville to see our favourite Dermatologist, Michael Perry PA. We are very happy to do so. St.Augustine has plenty of Dermatologists, but none a pleasant & knowledgeable as Michael Perry. Everything in the office was well organized & very clean. All necessary precautions were in place & it made everything & us very comfortable.

    A well located office on US1 with easy parking and access. This is the only dermatology group that I use now, and can usually get an appointment fairly quick. They keep to a tight schedule so you will be seen close to your appointment time. Dr Boyd is terrific, listens and notes your concerns, discusses treatments, and then you are on your way. As someone who has had basil cell skin cancer and surgery, I trust his judgement 100%.
