Amazing team and service. Thanks to Ana and her team, my hair looks and feels amazing. I went for the first time to do the Keratin treatment and the results were incredible. My hair looks very healthy, strong and shiny. Ana is very knowledgeable and she explained all the different products that they offer and the benefits that they can provide. Right from the start of walking in to book my appointment I got the pleasure of meeting Anna and her daughter, and they were extremely welcoming and helped me to decide what services that I would need. For my appointment day upon arrival I was immediately sat down offered coffee, and Ans got to work it right away. Ana is extremely sweet and pays a lot of attention to detail. I highly recommend coming to the salon. The experience is great. The quality is amazing and the energy inside the salon is contagious. I can’t say enough great things about Famous Dominican Hair Salon! My daughter and I walked in without an appointment, and despite the salon being full, Irka welcomed us warmly and assured us they could fit us in if we were willing to wait. The wait wasn’t long at all, and the entire team was amazing.The stylists were patient, kind, and attentive—especially with my daughter, which I truly appreciated. They made us feel comfortable the whole time, and the results were stunning! She took the time to listen to my hair concerns and made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire process.The keratin treatment left my hair feeling smooth and looking so much healthier. Susie did a fantastic job with the trim, too, keeping the length I wanted while giving my hair a fresh, clean look. One day I was looking for a Dominican Hair Salon to get a treatment. After calling two salons, the professionalism by phone alone is what led me to try them. Same day service, no wait, they were very welcoming and professional through the entire service. Not to mention, while blow drying my hair they were very careful, (compared to other similar salons)I was not worried about patches, nor hair loss. I would recommend.

I am so glad I decided to give Famous Dominican Hair Salon a try. They did not disappoint! From the wash, to the haircut to my blowout! What a great experience it was. They are very attentive and show so much passion in their work. I would like to point out my stylist, Sonya. She is talented and truly knows how to give a great wash, cut and blowout. Let me tell you I love this place, as someone with incredibly curly hair who LOVES their curly hair and wants to take care of it this salon has been a LIFESAVER. I came here after a stupid decision to at home bleach my hair(long story) and they saved my hair.The owner Ana is actually the first girl who took care of me here, her and her daughter are literally the SWEETEST. They always have an amazing price, are upfront about everything no scary random totals at the end & they actually care about my hair health. Not just trying to shove keratin at me or burn my hair.I’m obsessed with their hair masks. I’ve also even done hair botox here with has made my curly hair SO healthy and long. They also do amazing color, I took my little sister here to do her hair & she was obsessed with it. Shout out to Giraldo, he’s done my hair & did my sisters color. Love him.

I was in the area visiting family and was attending a family event on 08/17/24 I wanted to get my hair blowed out and I’m very picky, particular, and not trusting of everyone who touches my hair since I have very thick, curly & long hair.Also Since Im not familiar with places that I was staying at in Hallendale. I’m very familiarized with Dominican hair salons and their process so After reading the googles reviews I called to schedule an appointment and The lady who picked up was nice & friendly and I was shock to hear they had a next day availability since the google reviews were so good. The next day I came in and was welcomed right away! The environment was really welcoming and everyone was nice. I was serviced by Daniela she goes by Dani. One thing I get from every salon I go to how thick my hair is and how much hair I got lol. But DANI had patience and let me tell you! She did her thing with my blow out and she even styled my hair for my event & cleaned my brows! My hair was so soft 😊 She was so wonderful and truly was thankful for her because in the past I have had stylist give up with my hair. So DANI thank you so much for your service. My blowout lasted me two weeks! So for anyone looking for great service, good customer service & wants there hair to be healthy after a blowout, please visit this salon and see Dani! She is amazing!

My daughters invited me to go to a shrek rave dressed as the fairy godmother. As somebody who that never wears their hair in an updo I knew that I needed help. I had been in touch with the salon before to make an appointment for hair coloring, and they always have been so wonderful. Well, last Friday had an appointment and the plan was to put my hair up for the party. I came in with my hair completely filthy. Because I figured we would wash it, blowdry it, and Connie was amazing. She was like, no, you have so much hair. Even though its filthy dirty, its going to hold the style so much better. She was so right. So she saved me quite a bit of money and time by not doing the whole wash and cut and blow dry, just to put it up and have to wash it the next day. I really so appreciate her. I got so many compliments at the rave, and I know it was because of my hair. My interactions with Ana Ilka, who is at the front desk and an absolute sweetheart, and Connie, have been amazing. I highly highly recommend this salon. I have been getting my hair colored for over thirty years. This is definitely my go to place for all things hair. See you ladies soon. 💋

I came here for the first time so nervous because the place I went to before bleached and damaged my hair. The owner Ana to famous Dominican hair salon greeted me at the door we picked a color set on a price and they sat me in Marisol chair so she can do my hair at the end I did not like the color but only because it was sA light Gary due to the bleach. But Marisol was more then happy to fix and redo my hair she fixed the color straighten my hair she blow it out .I highly recommend Marisol she is patient and kind I had no extra charge for the fix they are the best of the best I already have an apt for my girls with Marisol amazing they had me in tears from how amazing my hair turned out thank youThe blonde is how I went to the salon and the other picture is how i left amazing work thank you

I came in for partial highlights and after discussing what I wanted with Ana she suggested what she thought would look best and fit within my budget. This love this hair salon. I have naturally curly hair and I got a hair straightening treatment by Ana three weeks ago. My experience was amazing from beginning to end. At first Ana took a look at my hair and asked me about my hair goals, then she explained to me different straightening treatments she offers and gave me her recommendation on which one she thought was best suited for me. She was very sweet and welcoming throughout the whole appointment which I also loved. After the treatment my hair has been so shiny, straight and healthy. I have not had to put any heat on my hair for the last three weeks and it air dries or rough dries perfectly. Not to mention she gave me an amazing haircut and really took her time making sure my layers were perfectly even (my hair has grown so much in the last three weeks so she definitely has a good hand for cutting hair). I have been getting so many compliments on my hair since I got it done by Ana. I look forward to coming back to this salon. Also, I purchased a shampoo, conditioner, hair mask and hair oil from the salons line called Famous by Ilka and I absolutely love all the products, I will be going back for more once I run out.

Suzy was my stylist and she picked the best keratin treatment for my hair she understood I just wanted to control my curls not fully get rid of them and she did exactly that! I wasn’t feeling good about my natural hair at all (especially due to multiple bad and racist experiences from other salons) so i was iffy and was deciding of just cutting it all off😭. i hated how my hair looked and i hated it even more when i went in diffrent salons and they made me feel like an inconvenience because my hair wasn’t as straight as the other girls... i came in today the lady recommended me tips and the keratin treatment that is good for my hair. and i’m so happy😭 i finally love my natural hair no more weave for me lol💙. they were sooooo sweet and gentle with my hair, unlike the other salons, and that made me sooo happy. i will be recommending my sisters and coming here more often! thankyou so much ladies

After much research and reading reviews, I finally decided to give this place a try! I was a walk-in and let me tell you, Ana, the owner greeted me and was very helpful and welcoming. I’m from New York, so moving to Florida has been a challenge for me finding my go to Dominican salon, after my past stylist retired. Beatriz was very helpful as well, between her and Ana, they gave me some options to bring my hair back to life. If you’ve been hesitant about going to this salon, don’t be. This place is amazing! Gerald has hands of gold. I had a blow out scalp massage and hair treatment, I ended buy the amazing products they used on my hair. My friend had the Keratin straightener and loved it! The staff is super friendly ( the coffee they gave us was amazing. We called the the salon and they were very helpful and gave us an appointment right away on a Sunday. I wish they had this salon in Texas. I’ve been coming here for over a year and never had a bad experience. I have 4b hair and detangling is usually painful but here I don’t feel a thing because they are so gentle . All the ladies are super talented, they are all my favorite. Honestly , if you’re looking for the best Dominican salon , look no more !

Beatriz is the best, she knows how to handle kinky hair. Hands down best blow dry and good hands for cutting hair. My hair has grown so long ever since she takes care of my trimming it and by trimming I mean she only cuts what’s necessary unlike many stylists that cut inches of hair. She also takes care of my daughter’s hair.

Suzie is THE BEST. Everyone is super friendly and sweet. My hair grew like crazy after Suzie started a hydration treatment. I’ve had highlights and cut them off and my hair grew right back. 10/10 definitely recommend.

WILMER is the best!!!! I came in with color dyed black hair. I was told by another stylist that my hair will not take the color I wanted since it was dark and couldnt guarantee me any results. Glad I found Wilmer at famous Dominican Hair salon. He was very professional from the start. Not only did he do a test strip on my hair to show me what I can expect but he also let me know what he will be doing to my hair to give me best results. Im glad I went ahead and decided to get it done! We were able to get my hair color lighter than expected and he completly changed my whole hair! He exceeded my expectations and made sure I was happy with my results! I am in love with my new hair! :) my hair looks healthy and he also respected on me not wanting to cut my length. I went in for a walk in with the most difficult to get out pink/orange (I’ve been red for a few years) and they hooked me up! Not only did they go above and beyond to make sure I looked good when I left but they took every possible measure to make sure my (slightly damaged and heavily dyed) hair wasn’t more damaged when I left them. They were so kind, professional and overall good company, I just moved to Hollywood area and will most definitely be coming here when I need my hair done. Very fairly priced as well, would easily recommend them to anyone I know.

I had an amazing experience, love how they left my hair. I had prior from going to the salon damaged hair from a cruise vacation I had. My hair now is moisturized in a good condition. I was referred to this salon by a co-worker. I am an African American and used this salon for less than a yr so far while transitioning to natural hair. I first did the keratin treatment with Ana. I must say i was skeptical, but tried it. My hair could not have gotten worse. I was super impressed by the growth of my hair since I started last November to now. BEST salon EVER.
