Met Dr. Bogue during my recent breast cancer journey. Never expected to need a double mastectomy at 38 years old. From the first consultation he made me feel comfortable, answered all my questions and worked with my oncologist surgeon to get all the details worked out to do an immediate breast reconstruction during the mastectomy. You would never know I had a mastectomy now that I am healed up, he did a great job with a natural look. Dr. Bogue and his staff were excellent to me in such a stressful time.

Dr. Bogue is the best!!! He did my breast implant removal. When I first met with him for a consultation, he explained everything to me from start to finish and I barely had any questions left, and I’m the type of person that needs to know everything and comes with questions ready. He made me feel at ease right away. Dr. Bogue recommended that I wait and see if I need a breast lift after the removal procedure and said that most likely I wouldn’t need one and he was right! I am very happy with the final result and I didn’t need to do a lift after. His team is very pleasant and always on point with anything you need. I highly recommend Dr. Bogue and his practice!

Dr. Bogue, is the kindest and most wonderful doctor I’ve ever been to. He makes his patients feel comfortable and explains everything in a way you can understand.I saw Dr. Bogue, two years after my double mastectomy and reconstruction surgery because I was not happy with the implants I was given. He listened to me and made his best recommendation. They looked and felt fantastic! That was in 2010. 22 years later I had my implants replaced with Dr. Bogue,. Dr. Bogue and his staff were truly wonderful through my entire reduction surgery process. When I went in for my initial consultation, he spelled out every part of the surgery and took the time to answer every question I had - something that some of the other doctors I consulted didn’t do. I have an immune deficiency and was concerned about the recovery process; Dr. Bogue reassured me every step of the way. I have to say, I had my doubts, but am very impressed with how little pain I had and how quickly the incisions healed. I’m now 4 months post-op and am completely back to my pre-op lifestyle with the added bonus of reduced back pain and increased clothing options. I was a 34 G / H when I went in and I’m now a small D. I’m able to wear the halters / spaghetti straps / backless and strapless pieces I’ve never been able to wear. I am so happy with my results that multiple friends and even my boss’s wife have asked me for Dr. Bogue’s contact info - one of my friends has already scheduled her own reduction with him!In a nutshell - I highly recommend!

I had a right breast masectomy and reconstructive surgery done on the same day 6 months ago because of Breast cancer.I met with Dr. Bogue for a consultation, he took his time in explaining the procedure thoroughly and easy for me to understand. Dr. Bogue was the top recommendation from my gynecologist and from my primary care physician. My career was 40 years working as a Patient Representative in major medical centers in New York City. Dr Bogue is amazing! Why? I was diagnosed with breast cancer in Oct 2021. I was referred to Dr Bogue and two other plastic surgeons by my oncologist breast surgeon. Dr Bogue spent an hour with me at my consultation. I was so torn as I had implants from 2007 & now faced with a diagnosis no woman wants to ever hear. But I decided to have the implants replaced after the tumor was removed & a matrix inserted for protection against my radiation treatment. Dr Bogue was so personable & I felt an instant connection as he spent time with me explaining my options & procedure. Jen his nurse is also amazing! I developed breast cancer 18 years ago and had a lumpectomy , followed by Chemo and Radiation therapy. It returned this year in the same breast and I needed a mastectomy. It was very difficult for me to choose a doctor I felt 100% comfortable with for my procedure. I searched and interviewed many doctors prior to choosing Dr. Bogue.From the initial discussion and consultation I knew he was the right doctor for me. He made me feel comfortable; not as though I was wasting his time.Towards the end of our intitial consultation he received a call from the hospital about one of his patients. He immediately apologized and ended our conversation and had to rush to them. This action in itself sealed the deal for me. I knew right then and there that he cared very much for his patients and would be there for me if I were that call.Dr. Bogue performed a two part surgery on me. Months in between one another. He was there with me every step of the way. He is not only a great doctor and uphold excellence in bedside manor but a perfectionist; something anyone would want in the realm of plastic surgery. From the initial consultation with Dr.Bouge (almost 2 hours) I knew I would be scheduling surgery with him. Dr. Bouge took the time to not only answer my questions and ease my concerns, but explain in detail and walk me through every single step in the process. There was never a feeling of pressure to schedule. Having had two prior surgeries (with another surgeon) and being disappointed, I was cautious to even consult with anyone. On a recommendation of a friend and seeing her amazing results, I met with Dr. Bouge. Thank God I did!Dr. Bouge even called my husband after my surergy, while i was in recovery, to go over everything with him. At my post-op appointment the next day, he took all the time he needed to go over how things went- exactly what he did- and what I can expect during the stages of healing.I am just a week post-op and already thrilled with the results. I know that choosing Dr. Bouge was by far the best decision. I loook forward to seeing my final results once healed....but am confident already that they will be exactly what I wanted.The office staff is also wonderful and everyone is extremely helpful & accessible.
